“We’ve been coming here for years and always make it a point to stop by whenever we’re in the area from Texas. The wines are consistently excellent, and the Pinot Noir is always a favorite. It really captures what makes this region so special—beautifully balanced, elegant, and full of character.

What keeps us coming back, though, is the tasting experience. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about wine. Michael has a great way of sharing insights about the vineyards, winemakers, and the region without ever making it feel overwhelming. Every visit feels both enjoyable and educational.

With this and even beyond into the fancy-pants lattes and holiday drinks, Queen Cup is always sure to tip the balance toward the beans — making certain the presence of coffee shines above all else. “What a hidden gem. We found this coffee shop while camping at Lake Cachuma this weekend and it was far and above what I expected from a small town. We ordered cortados using two different beans, and both were fantastic. The vibes of the shop are also amazing - it's perfect for a cozy solo trip or a big group on the back patio. There is a small, free bike repair station right outside as well, making it a good spot for cyclists. There are tons of books to read, or we chose to stop by the community puzzle table and spent some time adding pieces. :)

“One of our favorite wineries in the area. Alexis, Logan, and the rest of the staff are always very helpful and generous with the pours :-) The setting is gorgeous. Perfect to bring a picnic lunch and sit at the tables on their outdoor patio, overlooking the vineyards. They often have live music on weekends. Love the Beton Blanc.”
