There was a lot of seating space, but there was nearly always someone waiting on a table, because of their high customer count, but the food is worth the wait! The portions are big, and it's evident that they make each sandwich with great love and care– also you can watch them make them lol. This shop is filled with lots of passion and energy, so just remember that quality takes time. The special pumpkin ravioli was out of this world — we can’t stop talking about it and will probably be dreaming about this dish for the next week. You have to try it! We also had the lemon caper sole, which was equally delicious and perfectly prepared. As self-proclaimed foodies, our expectations were high, but Grapolo far exceeded every one of them. Our server Eric made the evening even more memorable with his warm and attentive service. The quaint ambiance transported us straight to Tuscany — it felt like dining at a family-run hillside restaurant, authentic and second to none. We will absolutely be back — no matter what. “My wife and I went here last night for our 21st anniversary dinner and it was absolutely perfect. Our server was super kind and explained the menu to us.

We started with the seasonal salad, which was spinach with some roasted beets and figs and pistachios. It was super good for our main entrée. My wife went with the salmon and I went with the steak Fritos. Our server told us that the duck fries were legendary and he was not incorrect.

We really enjoyed our meal here and we ended it by getting the caramel crème brûlée. The service was great and we really enjoyed this place. If you’re interested in coming here I would definitely put this on your list.“

“Warm, old-fashioned lodge atmosphere with a spacious dining area and plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the golf course.
Their weekly Blue Plate Dinner specials on Thursday and Friday nights are what keep me coming back, time and again; on these nights, you can find the rarest of unicorns -- the Holy Trinity of low cost, high quality, and full portions! Pictured is the Roasted King Salmon from last week. The fillet and potatoes were perfectly cooked, everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious.
A full bar and frequent live music performances complete the experience.

“We walked in a couple of minutes after opening on Christmas Eve. The place was empty (predictably) and we were able to get our food for dinner that night without a hassle. It's the closest Chinese place to Solvang, and the people were super friendly. It didn't take long for our food to come out and we made sure to leave a nice gratuity. I will say that something about the food didn't sit right with my tummy, but it tasted fine so maybe it was just me. Definitely not enough to take a star away.“

“food is good. service is fair. no eye contact with server/ cashier when asking for condiments or a bag because order was to go. always seems that there is never enough persons at front counter during lunch hour rush. Somedays when I order a salad I get the whole garden and I can barely close the box. other times a few croutons & 3 cherry tomatoes and a sprinkling of lettuce.“
