Dinner day before with cod was good. Next day tuna sandwich was disappointing. A tuna salad inside a baguette. Very hard to eat as it was huge and no flavor. Softer bread would have worked better. Too bad.
Amazing, eclectic menu, everything from smoked duck to Cuban sandwiches to braised short rib shepherd's pie to 18 kinds of artisan pizzas to Po' Boy sandwiches (note: this is known as a "false range" in the world of editing [a random 'from ...to'], but it's no less valuable in a review) in a lively setting full of wonderful people and marvelous chefs and servers. Worth a trip from...anywhere. I could taste individual ingredients as well as how they played together. The components were fresh and high quality, with perfect seasoning. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your communal table. The person who took our order was great. Be aware that food comes out when it's ready, not necessarily the same as your companions. Loved the butcher block paper menus. Just a gem.
