“This place was one of our favorite spots for cocktails and food in Buellton! We stayed next door at the Flying Flags RV park, and the Sideways Lounge is a short walk to get there, part of the Sideways Inn.

The drinks were on point (they made me a proper Negroni that was perfect)! The Belgian fries and dogs were super tasty and indulgent. The outdoor space was really comfortable, and the fire kept us cozy on the chilly night we were there. The whole lounge is very modern, clean, and well-maintained with plenty of seating space indoors and outside.

Mike, the bartender/server, was super friendly and helpful, and he provided us some great tips for exploring wineries around Los Olivos. I will definitely return here next time I'm staying in Buellton!“

“This is must visit place in such a beautiful city, we come here just because everything was overbooked and we cannot find a place, but it definitely worth that. Food and wine are very delicious and atmosphere is very cozy. You will need to spend some money here, but this was and amazing experience, and when I will be back to Solvang, I will visit this place one more time“

“The Victor is very appealing, outdoor seating a cozy lounge area, plenty of sparse seating to enjoy the beautiful and bright airy SY. My food was disappointing, I got the steak Benedict, as you can see the steak looks rough and it was. The salad, a side wasn’t that great either, it had way too much yellow and usually that’s when the lettuce is going bad. I felt like I was eating yesterday’s left overs. My glass that I had water in smelled bad I can tell that dishwasher water needed to be changed. The server wasn’t too attentive either. Great concept however ! Maybe it was just a tough brunch that day. I’ll try something else next time.“

Came here with a few friends: bartender Rick is a gem. He makes some of the best drinks I've ever had - my friend found her favorite drink, old tootsie, and she usually doesn't like bourbon. Food options may look limited but each one provides quite the bang. For example, I hate gravy, but the gravy on the meatballs was absolutely fantastic... We ordered three rounds. Cajun shrimp was also phenomenal.“

Their weekly Blue Plate Dinner specials on Thursday and Friday nights are what keep me coming back, time and again; on these nights, you can find the rarest of unicorns -- the Holy Trinity of low cost, high quality, and full portions! Pictured is the Roasted King Salmon from last week. The fillet and potatoes were perfectly cooked, everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious.
A full bar and frequent live music performances complete the experience.
