“My husband and I came down for a visit to Santa Barbara from Sonoma. We wanted to experience Santa Barbara’s wines ( made famous by the movie “ Sideways” ) We’re used to exceptional wine produced in our Sonoma valley. Rivahill was a pleasant surprise! I could tell from the outside of their tasting room with their logo and the way the wine was displayed so beautifully, it had to be good ( I was right!) they mainly focus on Rhône varietals. Each crisp, refreshing, and full of fruit and not too heavy ( their Syrah 2016 is exceptional! As are all of their wines!) to summarize, run don’t walk! to Rivahill where you will be made to feel welcome and where you can experience exceptional wines ( yes even by our Valley of The Moon/ Sonoma standards!)“

“My absolute favorite from there is a Mexican chocolate iced coffee it’s the yummiest treat EVER! They make the best and always smile! The owner I believe, Jen, helped me through two of the hardest days of my life back in 2019&2020. She’s an angel. 2020 I came through to get my fav coffee& a pup cup and big milkbone for my 15 yr old pup that day 04/28/20 was the day I had to help her get her angel wings, I will forever be grateful to Jen and her staff. “Had an absolutely amazing time at Brick Barn. I have know been there twice. Each time we were served by Vanessa. I’ve been wine tasting a TON of times and Vanessa is one of the best servers we have ever had. “This place was one of our favorite spots for cocktails and food in Buellton! We stayed next door at the Flying Flags RV park, and the Sideways Lounge is a short walk to get there, part of the Sideways Inn.

The drinks were on point (they made me a proper Negroni that was perfect)! The Belgian fries and dogs were super tasty and indulgent. The outdoor space was really comfortable, and the fire kept us cozy on the chilly night we were there. The whole lounge is very modern, clean, and well-maintained with plenty of seating space indoors and outside.

Mike, the bartender/server, was super friendly and helpful, and he provided us some great tips for exploring wineries around Los Olivos. I will definitely return here next time I'm staying in Buellton!“

“From a quick check here on maps, we didn't see beer so we went to a far more expensive place up the street first. That place was out of 2 beers that I wanted but we ordered a different one and we're shocked at their high menu prices ($24 for 2 fish tacos!). We may have ordered food if not for the worst chips and salsa we've ever had. Free but tasteless. So, we were a little full by the time we left there and walked over to Burritos Lalo. We split a delicious burrito, and enjoyed the Modelo that we wanted. Great prices, friendly and efficient staff.“

“While planning a mini roadtrip through PCH last week, my hubby had this place on his list for a lunch spot. It was recommended by a buddy of his and we ended up really enjoying it! We were staying about 20 mins away, so it wasn't too out of our way.

We arrived right before noon and there was plenty of parking. We headed into the taproom and checked out the place. It's a very nicely built brewery and it was pretty lively inside. There was the option for outdoor seating, bar seating and booth seating available. It was a beautiful day outside, so we opted to sit outside. The staff was very kind and attentive.

I wasn't feeling like drinking much, especially because I was going to be the one driving next. I already knew I liked the Cali Squeeze Blood Orange, so I ordered the Cali Squeeze Peach Pomegranate this time, which was deliciously refreshing. My hubby ordered a variety of barrel aged beer like the Parabola and Anniversary are the only ones I remember. All I know is he really enjoyed them, especially with his Cali-Western Smash Burger he ordered lol. I ordered the Mezze Burrata & Chickpea Salad with Chicken which was amazing! I would love to eventually visit their other locations. Totally recommend!“
