“Great little boutique store with kitchen items and a lovely outdoor eating area covered in large trees. Lots of benches and cushioned couches for lounging. Bodega offers wine by the glass and bottle. Very knowledgeable staff. Priedite BBQ is located in the back and serving delicious burgers and barbecue tacos.“

“The venue itself is pretty nice. However. When there's special events, I think there should be more than one person serving. It took awhile for us to order or get our refills. I'm sure it's a much better service when it's not a special occasion. But, their biggest event is the Christmas parade time. They should have still been prepared. Their little patio area is very nice.“

“These wines are beautiful, layered, nuanced. Sourced from meticulously farmed vineyards. Sunshine's blanc de blancs is exquisite, one of my favorite wines in all of the Santa Ynez Valley. The tasting room is less subtle. It's a glitterbomb of disco balls and sparkly rainbows that, once your eyes adjust, will warm a chilled heart. The staff is perfectly paired with the setting - cheerful, radiant, sincere. The wines in combination with the service and setting may make you, for a short time, believe in humanity again.“

“The wines are phenomenal, thus why my wife and became members a few years ago. This Gleason Family winery is also a very attractive and amazing facility. The grounds are beautiful, and the tasting room gets you right into the ranch vibe. The staff that work here are by far the reason we love to come. There is a lot of amazing wine in the valley but it is the people wine educators and the rest of the staff that make this place the one you want to come to. The staff here to include Dean, Janet, and a special shout out to our special Susan all make us feel like family. We try and make the drive up whenever we can to visit and see our friends here at Refugio Ranch. Thanks again to all of you for making this place a wonderful spot to spend our weekends. “Grappolo in Santa Ynez is a true gem. The food is amazing — bar none, the best ravioli we have ever had. The special pumpkin ravioli was out of this world — we can’t stop talking about it and will probably be dreaming about this dish for the next week. You have to try it! We also had the lemon caper sole, which was equally delicious and perfectly prepared. As self-proclaimed foodies, our expectations were high, but Grapolo far exceeded every one of them. Our server Eric made the evening even more memorable with his warm and attentive service. The quaint ambiance transported us straight to Tuscany — it felt like dining at a family-run hillside restaurant, authentic and second to none. We will absolutely be back — no matter what. Grapolo is a must-visit in Santa Ynez!“

“Some of the best musicians locally and across the US have come to play here. The sound system is stellar, created by Chris Pelonis owner, and professional sound studio engineer. The surroundings warm and intimate with beautiful guitars glowing under amber lights on the wall. A locals retreat, and tourists delight.“

“We stopped here after going to Solvang Brewery because we wanted to bar hop but no are specifically trying other beers in the area. We were surprised to walk into a beer shop with a nice gentleman who could tell we looked lost but when I asked about the bar the said it was a membership bar but since it was our first time he let us in as visitors with a pass to what I now know is a speakeasy. Super cool entrance which explains unassuming the beer shop. We were welcomed and impressed by the beer selection on tap. The server was very knowledgeable and the patrons were all extremely friendly and welcoming. We struck up a few conversations about beer, about the locals and just general chit chat with good beer and good people. They also sell snacks and there's an outdoor patio and games to play, things to read, and just a very cool atmosphere overall. Nothing snooty or pretentious about this place. It's great to be in a comfortable setting with mature adults who just love beer! Highly recommend place to chill and slavtually conversate with fellow beer admirerers. We would definitely go back and if you're local a membership is worth it.“

“This is must visit place in such a beautiful city, we come here just because everything was overbooked and we cannot find a place, but it definitely worth that. Food and wine are very delicious and atmosphere is very cozy. You will need to spend some money here, but this was and amazing experience, and when I will be back to Solvang, I will visit this place one more time“

“We tried the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Linguine Pesce, and the Spanish Octopus. All of the dishes were incredibly flavorful, and the presentation was excellent. The restaurant also has a really nice atmosphere, with an impressive wine collection that adds to the overall experience. The service was excellent as well. Definitely a great place for a nice meal.“
