“We stopped by Crawford Family Wines after spotting it as we were walking around the area and boy am I glad that we did! The wine and service here were wonderful! We both tried the mixed flight and while every wine was delicious, the Syrah was my personal favorite! Paul was so friendly and knowledgeable as we made our way through the wine flight. The shop was empty when we entered and he did get quite busy as time went by but he was still able to manage getting us each wine at a great pace! The shop is really cute, with a shared art space so you can gaze on fun prints and pieces as you sip on your wine. We walked away with two bottles, the Viognier and Deux Syrah. If we lived closer, we would definitely visit often but I highly recommend a visit here!“
“We had a great time and I’m glad my first time wine tasting was here at McClain Clellars. This was my girlfriend and I’s first time wine tasting and thank goodness we had Elizabeth help us throughout. She taught us some wine basics and was patient with us as we asked questions. “We had a wonderful relaxing 2 for 1 winetasting experience. The wines were good, the cheese plate was EXCELLENT, the spinach and cheese croissant was EXCELLENT, and Anna was very nice with good service. We came to Arrowsmith at the recommendation of the front desk of our hotel. It was only a five minute walk so we headed over around 4 PM on a Saturday of a three-day weekend. The decor is very nice, sort of roaring 20s French art. Nice tables, nice seating areas with leather chairs, nice bar. We had a 2 for 1 wine tasting special, a croissant and the cheeseboard. Our bill was around $66 and change and would've been in the $90s without the special. It was a good bargain and we still would've been happy at full price. We didn't wind up buying any of the wines to go, but we would definitely come here again and maybe stay later for the live music. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5 :-)“
“Love the wine tasting there. The worker knows her stuff about feliz noche wine. We didn't feel rush like in some other winery's which I liked. The ambiance was good. Music was on point. I will be going back and buying a bottle or two.“
“Staff here were awesome and very cool. I enjoyed the ambiance here and will absolutely love to come back when I'm in the area. A huge bonus is they are the only place to carry my favorite beer within a 60 mi radius. Great selection of alcohol here for sure!“

“Had a chance to swing by Silk Road's Kitchen when my family and I were visiting Solvang. We originally were going to go to Whiskey N Rye because the restaurant looked 75% empty yet they told us it was fully booked for some reason... Regardless we're happy that was the result because Silk Road's Kitchen was delicious. We were seated in their outdoor area and the entrees were made to perfection. Definitely one of the top gyro wraps that I've had! If you're in the area definitely stop by and check it out.“

Friendly, helpful, welcoming, and the food was excellent. California produce and products of incredible quality prepared competently in a delightful setting. An excellent spot for dinner.“
“Was in the area and was really craving Italian food. After some searching, it looks like Leonardo's was high up there and we decided to give it a try. At first we tried making reservations through open table but they only had a few late spots left. Not liking the options we called the restaurant directly and was able to get seated two hours before the time initially displayed on open table. That was nice given that we were so hungry. We liked that this place was a little further down from the epicenter of the Solvang village so there were ample parking. The restaurant was also very easy to locate. Upon walking in you can tell the ambiance was a little more fancier with their white table cloths but still has a mom and pop feel to it. We got seated near the back of the restaurant where they had an enclosed patio with ceiling heaters. Our server was Arturo and he was very knowledgeable about the menu and even given us a few recommendations. We ordered a carpaccio, the pepperoni pizza, cioppino (recommended), Leonardo's penne, the bolognese, branzino (recommended) and chicken Marsala along with a few glasses of wine. Everything was delicious. The carpaccio was good, pepperoni pizza was amazing, the cioppino was light but filling as it was all seafood. The penne and bolognese pastas were cooked and flavored to perfection. The branzino and chicken Marsala were moist and flavorful, they also came with really good potatoes. Really nice family dinner here. The server always made sure we had everything to our liking and was personable. If I visit Leonardo's again I'm definitely coming back for the pizzas and pasta!“

“I came here in December 2023 but just found the receipt and had to leave a review. This is an unassuming authentic Italian restaurant in the back of a plaza in Solvang. It is just around the corner from the Mermaid statute and probably a better time! We arrived after having a long wait and a disappointing dinner at a Danish restaurant nearby. It was late, but we walked by and thought, a slice of pizza would be nice and they seated us right away. We sat at the bar, the kitchen is open, bustling, the owner is sipping on wine and working with his staff. Its a fun and lively environment. We ordered the Quattro Stagioni, Polpette Al Sugo, and their Tiramisu - so basically pizza, meatballs, and tiramisu. The pizza was so crispy and flavorful, the meatballs were so so delicious and cheesy, the tiramisu was perfect and not too sweet. The owner was lovely and chatted with us about how he ended up here in Solvang and opened this shop. Everything, including dessert, is made in house and he just has a electric oven that he makes pasta, pizzas, meatballs, and sometimes other dinners for parties. Overall our dinner here made our stay in Solvang much nicer and a fun memory. I would return here in a heartbeat if I return to Solvang!“
