“Great owners and wonderful staff. The location is excellent and the food incredible... They are not a regular restaurant, so check the day you are going to see what's on the menu and if they are hosting a private event. I totally recommend Fridays for the Viking Sandwich and a honey ale. They have awesome wines as well. One of the best local spots for my wife and I. Be sure to stop by when in Solvang.“

“One of the highlights of our trip! It was crazy busy in Solvang over this weekend (December), people were lined up outside of other places, and we managed to get in here! The two workers (a young man and an older woman (sorry, I can't remember their names) were awesome. It has an old fashioned/European/romantic feel. There was also live music. Vast selection of wine and beer. I had a delicious dry champagne, and my husband loved the German beer on tap. We had a cheese plate that was incredible value. We will be back next time we are in Solvang!“

“Wonderful yummy restaurant! Great ambiance. Service was really good. Very attentive! Food was delicious! Started with the burrata salad and the beef carpacio. Both delicious. I had the Risotto Primavera which had lots of veggies. It was large enough to feed two people but I ended up having some left over to take back to hotel (yay!). Husband had the lasagna which was a good healthy serving size. We would recommend this place for sure!“
