“This wonderful restaurant is hiding just off the main street in Solvang. Take a few steps away from the tourist traps and step into some world class cuisine.Kid-friendliness: Too many nice restaurants lack a kids menu, they have good options for kids.”
“They are so nice and knowledgeable in finding the Type of wine I was looking for. The food was delicious. We went for their Mardi Gras menu and are excited to return.”
“Happened to stumble upon this deli walking around the North end of Solvang. We just grabbed one sandwich for 2 of us and was genuinely surprised. Also tried the celery soda which paired perfectly with the pastrami (The Brady). The ratio and flavor of meat, mustard, pickles, onion, bread was amazing. 10/10 would recommend! We will be back went we visit Solvang again.”
“We came here just by the reviews, but they don't measure to the experience! Phil was so nice overall, and the wine tasting as well. I highly recommend this place to chill and have a nice early evening.”
“Stopped in for a quick rest while just passing through and ended up making a night of it. Received such welcoming and attentive service from Jacob I completely forgot I was on my way somewhere else. I don't even drink and I've never felt so welcomed in a bar. Jacob took full creative liberty to make easily the best mocktail I've ever had, and made me feel like a guest in someone's home. Great service, amazing ambiance, way too easy to spend a whole night in here. This will be a necessary stop any time I'm anywhere near solvang. Cant wait to be back!”
“I have traveled Italy and the meal I had at Leonardo Restaurant was like going back to Italy again. It has a modest exterior next to RiteAid but once you enter you are transported into an elegant restaurant. Wonderful dining experience.”
“We had been seated for not even 10 minutes when our food arrived (party of four). We were all pleasantly surprised at the fast service and really enjoyed the quality of food. The veggie eggs benedict, huevos rancheros, and hot chocolate were the standout items from what we ordered.”
“We had a wonderful relaxing 2 for 1 winetasting experience. The wines were good, the cheese plate was EXCELLENT, the spinach and cheese croissant was EXCELLENT, and Anna was very nice with good service. We came to Arrowsmith at the recommendation of the front desk of our hotel. It was only a five minute walk so we headed over around 4 PM on a Saturday of a three-day weekend. The decor is very nice, sort of roaring 20s French art. Nice tables, nice seating areas with leather chairs, nice bar. We had a 2 for 1 wine tasting special, a croissant and the cheeseboard. Our bill was around $66 and change and would've been in the $90s without the special. It was a good bargain and we still would've been happy at full price. We didn't wind up buying any of the wines to go, but we would definitely come here again and maybe stay later for the live music. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5 :-)”
“What a wonderful small hidden treasure. My husband and I found this on the last night of our 4 day stay in Solvang. Food was simply delicious. Very authentic. I had the taco plate and my husband had the chicken fajitas. I've rarely had such deep flavors in the chicken and steak. The beans- homemade and so good. Rice was good. But the salsa was out of this world. Get the freshly made chips. They're extra but I wish I would have brought an order home. Same with the homemade salsa!! I got a bottle of beer and the nicest young man brought me a chilled mug and 2 limes. This is why we love dining at a small family owned establishment. We'll be back!”
“My husband and I go to Nashville annually, and we've gone to Kentucky specifically for the KY BBQ. We have also gone to North Carolina to have some Carolina BBQ. We both can say without hesitation, that this place has the best BBQ we have ever had. The ribs fell off the bone and the brisket was juicy and cooked to perfection. And the corn bread that is served warm... to die for. Prices were reasonable the drinks were great and the patio itself was adorable. 5 out of 5.”
“Great food, great wines, impeccable service. When I say "Impeccable" i mean it was top notch attentiveness from the reservation through the bill. Friendly, helpful, welcoming, and the food was excellent. California produce and products of incredible quality prepared competently in a delightful setting. An excellent spot for dinner.”
“Couldn't decide on which one to try so I did 3! I got the classic bratwurst, jalapeño cheddar bacon and the rod polse. Buns cost an extra $1 each i believe but i didn't get any cause i didn't want to be too full. My favorite was the rod polse and it tasted so good dipped in the honey mustard. There's a variety of sauces and sides you can pick up yourself after placing your order. It was picnic tables set up style outside, nice on a warm day, but cold on a windy day.”
“Had a chance to swing by Silk Road's Kitchen when my family and I were visiting Solvang. We originally were going to go to Whiskey N Rye because the restaurant looked 75% empty yet they told us it was fully booked for some reason... Regardless we're happy that was the result because Silk Road's Kitchen was delicious. We were seated in their outdoor area and the entrees were made to perfection. Definitely one of the top gyro wraps that I've had! If you're in the area definitely stop by and check it out.”
“Love the wine tasting there. The worker knows her stuff about feliz noche wine. We didn't feel rush like in some other winery's which I liked. The ambiance was good. Music was on point. I will be going back and buying a bottle or two.”
“My husband and I had our anniversary party there last week. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The manager, Matt P was gracious and easy to work with, the servers were friendly and attentive, the chef was amazing. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was. Thank you all!”
