Belgian Cafe Reviews
Great cafe. The Ortega chile roast beef sand fabulous. Big fresh chile. Not canned. Had fresh fruit too. Potato salad great as well. Husband enjoyed pastrami. Indoor seating or outdoor table. Staff super friendly
Great food. Friendly and very busy staff. Seating for breakfast is usually easy. As the day goes on, seating might require a wait.
Centrally located in Solvang. Parking is free in the street and in a several public parking lots within a block of the restaurant.
The food is delicious. See the menus for the offerings. I suspect most of the similar restaurants and owned by the same owner(s). Most of the menu items are the same, posted at the same price.

Paid a bit more than I would have liked but it's a touristy place in California. The crepes were amazing. My sons omelette was also excellent.

The Belgian Cafe is a charming restaurant that offers a wide variety of breakfast options, including numerous vegetarian crepes. The cafe features delicious Belgian waffles, including the Stars and Stripes Belgian waffle, which has the right amount of crisp. Eggs are perfectly cooked, and the coffee is hot and tasty. Quick service is a highlight, with diners often receiving their food shortly after ordering. The outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh sea breeze, although it can be noisy with music and chatter. The cafe can accommodate large groups and is a good alternative to other breakfast places, making it worth a visit. Whether it's the Danish omelette paired with delicious David rye bread and blackberry marmalade or the Crepes Benedict, every dish is well-prepared. Overall, The Belgian Cafe provides a pleasurable dining experience for breakfast lovers.
