“Everyone there was so wonderful! My husband and I were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and we saw this amazing table that was going to be open in a half hour so everybody accommodated us gave us little starters so we could have our three course meal at this amazing table. Then the rest of the evening was amazing. George was our server who couldn't have been nicer plus the Assistant Manager coming out, Julio, to make sure my dinner was perfect to the matrix who seated us. Thanks everyone! Christie and Joe “

“It's pretty good, maybe better than most other coffee places in Solvang area, but not great.Coffee: Their cappucino is really nice. It's not the best in the world, but it's waaaay better than Starbucks. I would give it a 7/10, so good coffee is the main reason to go here.Pastry: Nothing truly unique. Pretty average variety of cookies and pastry. The quality is good tho. 7/10.Service: Nice positive people. Solid service. Nothing that I particularly remember. 8/10.Interior and design: Hmmm... mixed feelings. It's def trying to look nice, but then you take a closer look it's confusing. Eclectic design is a little bit of everything. They have many rustic wooden surfaces, like you are in a log cabin, and they are mixed together with industrial looking metal table legs made of crankshafts and rotors. At the same time, wavy surfing photos on the wall. What does this even mean? Meh... The place is too empty inside, meaning too much empty space and not enough furniture. Their bizzare looking "designer" rocky chairs are uncomfortable. Interior overall: 5/10.Extra points: On the bright side, they serve coffee into nice ceramic cups, which is a big plus. Yeay!))“

“We got our wedding cake through Solvang Bakery and it was so delicious and just what we wanted. We were unsure what flavors we were wanting ahead of time, but knew we just wanted a simple, small cake for the two of us for the cake cutting and saving. Melissa met with us to go over designs and flavors – brought us four different huge slices of cake to sample….we were eating them for days after. Which was amazing. She was very helpful in narrowing down our preferences and helping us come up with the exact cake we wanted. We couldn’t decide between two of the delicious ganache fillings, so we used both! We went with a semi-naked, rustic chocolate cake with buttercream frosting on the outside and a peanut butter ganache filling for one layer and dark chocolate ganache for the other. We only had one small slice on the night of our wedding, and then we cut the remaining cake into 12 pieces to freeze and eat throughout the year – one slice for each month of our first year of marriage. It was so easy to work with them to arrange pickup and we loved using a local bakery so close to our venue. Thanks to Solvang Bakery for the delicious cakes and all of the other goodies we get each time we visit Solvang.“

“A very competent menu and just a lovely place to grab dinner and a drink. The standouts are the duck fat fries, the cioppino, and some of their rotating brunch items (the skillet huevos rancheros when they have ‘em).There’ll be something for everyone, and you can comfortably sit inside or outside, and not have to fight Solvang’s windy and chilly evenings.“

“We stopped in here three times during our stay in Solvang. The first was for lunch - we had the Caprese Panini and Arugula Salad. The second time was to pick up a salad for a picnic. On our last visit, we bought French chocolates made by French chocolatier Jean-Michele Carré. Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the service was great.“

“This was our first visit. Nice rustic restaurant with a beautiful peaceful looking view of the golf course green. Great quick service. The food was delicious and ample amount. The Bloody Mary included a thick spicy bacon slice plus plenty of olives, yummy. No complaints we had an enjoyable lunch, the price was normal for Santa Barbara and we will be returning next week.Vegetarian options: One of our friends is a vegetarian and she thoroughly enjoyed her avocado tacos.Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to cilantro and my ordered meal had cilantro on the menu but was removed which was much appreciated.Parking: Plenty of parking and handicapped areas.“

“The fudge is S-E-N-S-A-T-I-O-N-A-L-L-Y Delicious!! I never pass by the opportunity to try out a new chocolate shop.....And, when i was in Solvang, this shop was a welcome surprise. If you like rich fudge, this place is for you....They offer a wide range of flavors so it's a good idea to try a few to know which ones best suite your tastes. The Penuche, Vanilla Pecan, and peanut butter plain are my favorite types of fudge.I visited old danish fudge kitchen a year and a half ago. I still place orders online as i live a long way away. Glad that option is available :)“

If you want a real treat try the Mediterranean Panini. Everything here tastes crisp, clean, and fresh! You will love it!“

“Fun, decorations take you back to old world Denmark, and they have a great menu selection of crepes, waffles, breakfast items and great coffee. All at reasonable prices and the service is wonderful. If you don't want to wait for a table at the Pancake House I definitely recommend Belgian Cafe.“

“Went here during a spring break trip last year and let me tell you, the food here was absolutely delicious! I got the spaghetti carbonara and I’ve never tasted anything so good! Would definitely recommend however the prices are a bit much, especially if you’re on a budget. Other than that great experience and amazing food!“
