We decided to stop at Café Dolce on a Tuesday afternoon because it was one of the few places open and were pleasantly surprised. They have a variety of sandwiches, salads and soups, and the breakfast menu looked pretty good too. The sandwiches are a perfect size to eat with lots of great ingredients but not too full, which sometimes I feel like Panino (their neighbors) sandwiches are so packed they're difficult to eat, especially when wine tasting. Not sure what the 1 star reviews are about the service, but I was just here with my mother, we had some Turkish coffee and baklava and it was fantastic, yes it’s $11 but you get the whole jazve of coffee and it’s honestly worth it. Only suggestion is possibly being able to offer to cook the coffee with sugar for those who request sugar inside rather than stirring it in after, like that the coffee grinds won’t mix up and will stay on the bottom of the jazve. Their Baklava is Awe- ma- ZING! And the service is wonderful. I enjoy lemon in my tea and they kindly sliced a lemon for me and gave me as much as I wanted, not just a sliver that can't even be used. Their coffees are also delicious.
