“Great spot off the beaten path. Very pleasant and relaxing outdoor seating. Plenty of trees and shade and the weather was perfect. The food was excellent - great BBQ!! The brisket and pork shoulder tacos are large and easily shareable. The chili was outstanding. Definitely check this place out.”

“Have been visiting Bob's since they opened. It is consistently busy with travelers as well as a local trade. Best for me to come early esp on weekends. Other days & times a line may be expected, so I try to be prepared by studying the menu flyers before hitting the counter. When my turn comes, I order breads/pastries first, then meals or drinks prefaced by 'For Here' or 'To Go' as a signal. (awesome) cookies are displayed to the right of the pay station, so scope them out before ordering. Staff works well together and is efficient, packs to-go orders with care and busses tables quickly and pleasantly. Having worked retail and in a bakery/gift shop, I tip even for takeout. Service and kitchen staff def earn it- I'm happy to, as a thank you. Remember there is another equally charming location, located in Ballard townsite along Alamo Pintado, the main road between Solvang and Los Olivos, and is reached easily from 101 from north or south via Highway 154. ( Los Olivos is another village with many local wine tasting rooms and galleries for perusing after a meal)”

“Great little boutique store with kitchen items and a lovely outdoor eating area covered in large trees. Lots of benches and cushioned couches for lounging. Bodega offers wine by the glass and bottle. Very knowledgeable staff. Priedite BBQ is located in the back and serving delicious burgers and barbecue tacos.”

“We absolutely loved our visit to Pence Winery! Tristan was an exceptional host, providing a wonderful tour of the winery and sharing fascinating insights into the winemaking process while showcasing the beautiful, expansive property.
Of course, the true highlight was the wine—every pour was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the small-batch Pinot Noir and the Chardonnays, both of which were exceptional.

I received 4 boxes at my office today for some colleagues. Two of the bottles were broken. This is a message to Melville Winery to use better packing equipment when shipping. The plastic bottle shippers used in their packing is not good enough. In the non-broken bottle boxes, you can still hear the plastic shipper and bottle flopping around in the box when it is handled.

I've received hundreds of bottles over the years for colleagues. They are always in the grey PULP wine shippers and have never broken during shipping.

This is the first time I've received plastic shippers and the results speak for themselves.

“Visited Los Alamos for work. Found Na Na Thai thru a rec with the crews for dinner. Everything was delicious.

Most standout for me is the Gai Tod (fried chicken) crispy and flavorful combined with nam jim jaew - 10/10 highly recommended.
Tom Kha Gai soup creamy with coconut and lemongrass are must try, you can eat it with jasmine rice. I mixed it with the Kao Pad “Du Jour” (fried rice) with salted Halibut (I believe). Can’t stop eating!!
For dessert, highly recommended Mama Ice Cream (Coconut ice cream/ shaves with passion fruit) - top left and Banana fritters - bottom left. If you’re fan of less sweet dessert, you should try the tapioca pearls with dragon fruit and palm sugar.

Definitely recommended if you have a chance to visit Los Alomos 🙌🏻”

Try the Camaguey sandwich with turkey and guava jam… and their Moros y Cristianos was the best I’ve ever had! Beans were perfect and the rice tasted so moist almost like risotto. Great plantains.. I had the Cortadito coffee and it was delicious!”

“One of our favorite wineries in the area. Alexis, Logan, and the rest of the staff are always very helpful and generous with the pours :-) The setting is gorgeous. Perfect to bring a picnic lunch and sit at the tables on their outdoor patio, overlooking the vineyards. They often have live music on weekends. Love the Beton Blanc.”
