We came here after visiting another winery in the morning. The food was great. Beautiful outdoor seating! Our wine tasting person was named Cheryl. She was fantastic! It was a really great experience!
Great experience for classic, fire-grilled steak & local wine! We also loved the Artichoke appetizer. They treated us special for my husband's birthday!

Hitching Post 2 is a wonderful dinner option in wine country, offering amazing food and exceptional service. The menu features dishes such as the celebrated smoked artichoke appetizer, fish special, pork chops, steak, and salmon, all of which are delicious and fresh. The smallest 7oz sirloin is noted as more than enough for one, with well-flavored, succulent meat cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered. The restaurant's wine selection is impressive, including the 'House' Pinot Noirs from Bien Nacido and Sanford and Benedict vineyards, both by the glass, which were perfect accompaniments to meals. They also offer a variety of bourbons. The dining room is pretty loud, but the ambience has a cohesive vibe - classic small-town steakhouse. Beautiful outdoor seating is available. While the prices may be on the higher side, the excellent service and quality of food make it a good option. Reservations are recommended, and the staff provide outstanding customer service. Leticia, one of the servers, has been praised for being sweet and attentive, making guests feel like a priority. Overall, it has been described as a wonderful experience, encouraging many to return.
