Good food, great service!
Group visiting from CT and FL - thoroughly enjoyed AJ Spurs. Food was awesome! Stew, beans and salsa were so delicious! Steaks cooked to perfection. Highly recommend stopping here!!

A J Spurs Saloon & Dining Hall offers a great old western-style atmosphere with a lot to see inside, featuring taxidermy animals and a lodge feel. The food is generally good, with large portions and exceptional quality. Standout menu items include the Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon, which is cooked to order, and spare ribs that fall off the bone. The dining experience is fun overall, especially for special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays.
While the service can be a bit slow, there are lots of side appetizers like stew, beans, cheese, and salsa provided to keep guests satisfied while waiting. The restaurant does not take reservations, but there is a nice big bar/lounge area to wait. It is a very kid-friendly place, and the ambiance features cozy booths and a warm log cabin feel. Although the service can be dicey at times, with some long waits, it remains great considering how busy it can get. A J Spurs is definitely a must-visit if in the area, and visitors are encouraged to arrive early.
