“Lark and Sparrow with it’s antique decor, blackout interior and 80’s tunes playing gives a positive fun vibe that stands out from all other wine/beer bars. The selection of the wine includes European besides Californian. If you are into beers they also have a rotating fun selection that is great. I am currently having a pint of the Offering- Vienna Amber Larger and may move onto a Picpoul from France… who knows?”

“Loved the atmosphere! Stopped in on our way up north for work and the food was excellent service was friendly and coffee was on point! Try the Camaguey sandwich with turkey and guava jam… and their Moros y Cristianos was the best I’ve ever had! Beans were perfect and the rice tasted so moist almost like risotto. Great plantains.. I had the Cortadito coffee and it was delicious!”

“I’m from Pasadena and missing the delicious food and restaurants, so when I found Uliveto’s I was so happy! I’m hooked on the clams in a white wine and garlic sauce with pasta. Dipping their delicious crunchy French bread in the sauce is divine! I came back a second time asking for their clams and it wasn’t on the menu, but the owner overheard my disappointment so asked the chef and they made them special for me.”

“Gina’s Piece of Cake has always been our go-to bakery, and they did not disappoint for our wedding last weekend. From the tasting a few months ago, to our cake cutting at the reception, the entire staff was phenomenal. And let me tell you about the cake! So delicious! Everyone asked where it was from and so many people came back for seconds. We had a scrumptious pink champagne sheet cake for our guests, and a perfect little 2-tier cake for our wedding party and photos. If you need sweet treats or baked goods, go see Gina!
