“We absolutely loved our visit to Pence Winery! Tristan was an exceptional host, providing a wonderful tour of the winery and sharing fascinating insights into the winemaking process while showcasing the beautiful, expansive property.
Of course, the true highlight was the wine—every pour was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the small-batch Pinot Noir and the Chardonnays, both of which were exceptional.
We were so impressed with the entire experience that we joined the wine club and are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great wine, stunning scenery, and warm hospitality!“

“Had an absolutely amazing time at Brick Barn. I have know been there twice. Each time we were served by Vanessa. I’ve been wine tasting a TON of times and Vanessa is one of the best servers we have ever had. “I would give Bette and the events team 100 stars if I could! I had always loved the vibes and wines here, so when we started planning our small wedding, we knew it had to be here! We hosted a 50 person wedding at Peake Ranch in October 2025 and had the absolute best time. From booking and planning towards the big day, Bette was helpful, thorough and communicative. I had a vision of what I wanted, and Bette was able to connect me with the BEST vendors that had already worked events at Peake, making the coordination that much easier. The day of went seamless, everyone knowing where to be when and the day turned out absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend Peake Ranch winery (and Bette!) for private events. This is truly a hidden gem in the Santa Ynez Valley!“

“One of the employees, I think his name was T, greeted me with enthusiasm and was super kind, he helped me choose my favorite wine and when I was done, he helped me carry my stuff to the car. He was super handsome and I will definitely be coming again (hopefully T will be there🫣). I couldn’t recommend this place more! 5 stars out of 5“

“My husband and I came down for a visit to Santa Barbara from Sonoma. We wanted to experience Santa Barbara’s wines ( made famous by the movie “ Sideways” ) We’re used to exceptional wine produced in our Sonoma valley. Rivahill was a pleasant surprise! I could tell from the outside of their tasting room with their logo and the way the wine was displayed so beautifully, it had to be good ( I was right!) they mainly focus on Rhône varietals. Each crisp, refreshing, and full of fruit and not too heavy ( their Syrah 2016 is exceptional! As are all of their wines!) to summarize, run don’t walk! to Rivahill where you will be made to feel welcome and where you can experience exceptional wines ( yes even by our Valley of The Moon/ Sonoma standards!)“
