“We had a delightful afternoon date at this tasting room, which is ideal for spending quality time with someone special. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between contemporary and inviting, and the staff truly excels in making your experience special. The wines are exceptional, the sort that you can't resist sharing with loved ones. We were really enjoyed both the patio and the cozy lounge inside. “During our trip to Santa Ynez, Refugio Ranch stood out as our favorite stop. Alex’s warm welcome and friendly service allowed us to sit back, relax, and enjoy.
The wines at Refugio ended up being our favorites of the entire trip. The world-class smash burger and lobster roll were welcomed additions to the experience as well. You must try the food if you go here on the weekend.
We went to Refugio 3 separate times during our stay! I cannot praise this establishment enough. Can’t wait to return on our next trip to the area.“

“This is the E11even tasting room, which is Andrew Murray's second label. While Andrew Murray Vineyards is delicious and has some standouts, we both prefer E11even, and as a bonus - they're more affordable. Becoming a member here also gets you the member perks at Andrew Murray as well. The sauv blanc, petit syrah, petit verdot, and cab franc are all standouts.
Alice usually runs the tasting room solo, and she's awesome. Loads of info and always up for a friendly chat. Well worth stopping by!“

“Michael, the wine maker, hosted us, a group of 8, at the vineyard. We sat outside at a long outside table surrounded by the vines and grapes. As we tasted, we also walked around the vines, even got to taste the grapes since it was harvest season. All the wines we tasted were very lovely. We purposed several bottles to take back to Chicago with us. I would highly recommend visiting this beautiful vineyard with gorgeous views located in Los Olivos.“

“So many places to choose from. How does one decide which one to go to.
Theoretically one can go to all of them- you need gumption or time or no driving later or a place to stay in LO or a lot of money or all of the above. Coming from far away Dubai, we had to choose one and we chose SoS- and we are glad we did. All the wines were very good- my favourite though was the Gamay. Very light and with an afterthought of a taste.
Alyssa (hope I got the name right) was amazing. Explained all the stuff about the wines. Very well travelled (best of luck traveling to Italy to try out the wines this time).
All wines in neutral oak. Enjoyed ourselves.

“This is a smaller tasting room, but nicely laid back. Becca loves sharing what she knows about wine and learning about what works for YOU and why. Prolly would have gone home with a few bottles anyway but Becca made the experience even better. Plus they feature plenty of unusual varietals. Malvasia? Never even heard of it!“
“This winery has a small but pretty tasting room in Olivios. The wines were uniformly fabulous (sadly I am a very experienced wine drinker so I know:)). Our small group loved the cabs and the rose also really stood out. We loved the wines so much that we arranged a tour of the vineyard which was stunning, like one would expect in Santa Barbara. Looks like a beautiful spot for an event. Happy canyon is what i recall — it was located a few miles from Olivios. Great wine!“

“Zaca Mesa Winery and the entire team is simply THE BEST! My husband and I got married in October 2024 and toured the venue roughly 2 years prior. Would you believe me if I told you Zaca Mesa was the first and ONLY venue we toured for our wedding? We loved the property and the people SO much that we didn’t need to look any further. We booked it right away! We were beyond satisfied with everything! Tara, the events manager, is an absolute dream to work with. She is so kind, so responsive and very helpful. My wedding planner even told me Tara was her favorite venue coordinator she’s ever worked with! It is truly a magical location and we could not recommend them enough! My guests were raving about how gorgeous the venue was! And the wine! The wine is smooth, delicious, and affordable. We wish we could get married here over and over again! Obsessed!!!!“

“I usually do not like to write reviews but this one is well worth a sip.I happened to walk into this charming little boutique wine store and tasting room on Grand Ave in Los Olivos. Mike, the owner was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the wines in the region as well as around the world. You could see he has a passion for this business.A good variety of wines to taste and purchase at respective prices. Definitely worth the walk in out of all the stores on the street.Then buy a bottle and eat at one of the restaurants that accept BYOB. A true spirit of small town USA in California.I will be back to fill my wine fridge for friends and family. A perfect break on my drive to Monterey.“

I came in with a few others on the way to a comedy show ...I was performing in. I enjoyed the red wine and am thinking of getting a membership there.
