Elise was eloquent without pretention, knowledgeable and passionate about exceedingly well-made wines. To say it another way, we had a wonderful experience, and the wines paired well with the hospitality.
I visited Story of Soil because a friend recommended it. Their wines really are a notch above the rest. It's the perfect tasting menu if you prefer less sweet wines. Brandon served us and he was so awesome! He really knew his stuff and had great recommendations. The tasting room is small but kid and dog friendly.

I love many wineries in Los Olivos and surrounding areas. So many. This is my absolute favorite! I love all of the wines, especially the Gamay. Brandon provides a lovely tasting experience, he is knowledgeable and we have learned so much from him you should give this place a try, it is awesome.
