I’m sure all the locals know but I just caught on, this place is amazing! A must visit/stop when in Los olivos for lunch. We used to love the lucky hen lardery and were so sad when it closed, but this totally mends that void! The ambience here is also very nice to enjoy there as well! We enjoyed everything we had.

Their turkey and brie sandwich on foccasia is one of the best things I've ever eaten. I go every time I'm in the area.

PANINO Los Olivos is a wonderful sandwich shop located at 2900 Grand Ave. in the heart of town. The atmosphere is inviting, and the restaurant is clean and well maintained. The staff is super awesome, acting with great care and being very accommodating. There is a lot of seating space, but the high customer count means there is nearly always someone waiting on a table. The food is worth the wait, as each sandwich is made with great love and care—customers can watch them being made. The portions are big, and the quality takes time. Specific meals mentioned include the chicken with pesto and sun-dried tomatoes on focaccia, the Harvest salad, the #8 Italian Combo Sandwich (with Prosciutto, Genoa Salami, Aged Provolone Cheese, and Balsamic Vinegar), and the Roasted Turkey sandwich. Everything is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. The service is quick and friendly. A nice surprise is that they also sell Rori’s artisanal ice cream sandwiches. This spot is filled with lots of passion and energy, perfect for a delicious and efficient lunch.
