I came in with a few others on the way to a comedy show ...I was performing in. I enjoyed the red wine and am thinking of getting a membership there. The environment they’ve created is so vibey with a beautifully appointed cottage, deck and garden area. “These wines are beautiful, layered, nuanced. Sourced from meticulously farmed vineyards. Sunshine's blanc de blancs is exquisite, one of my favorite wines in all of the Santa Ynez Valley. The tasting room is less subtle. It's a glitterbomb of disco balls and sparkly rainbows that, once your eyes adjust, will warm a chilled heart. The staff is perfectly paired with the setting - cheerful, radiant, sincere. The wines in combination with the service and setting may make you, for a short time, believe in humanity again.“

“The wines are phenomenal, thus why my wife and became members a few years ago. This Gleason Family winery is also a very attractive and amazing facility. The grounds are beautiful, and the tasting room gets you right into the ranch vibe. The staff that work here are by far the reason we love to come. There is a lot of amazing wine in the valley but it is the people wine educators and the rest of the staff that make this place the one you want to come to. The staff here to include Dean, Janet, and a special shout out to our special Susan all make us feel like family. We try and make the drive up whenever we can to visit and see our friends here at Refugio Ranch. Thanks again to all of you for making this place a wonderful spot to spend our weekends. “What a gem in the buzzing town. If you want to taste rare wine from the region that may not have their own tasting facilities, definitely pay a visit!
Michael and Marlene are a wonderful couple to present local wines with their knowledge and passion. I tasted a wine maker flight which was exactly what I was hoping for. They were never pushy to sell, but I joined the wine club willingly.“

“We discovered Dreamcote a few years back. The atmosphere and aesthetic are on point. They offer both sparkling and wine tasting. When being explained the wines as someone who is an average wine drinker, I can really level with the flavor notes being delivered. The wine here definitely stands out, Love the atmosphere here and would highly recommend this place over most.l“

“Excellent wine. We visited on Tuesday and Friday, and had both Sabrina and Noreen pour for us. Both made for a very informative, and enjoyable experience in a very relaxing setting. Just the perfect way to enjoy an afternoon.

Each of their Syrahs is quite excellent, and unique. They truly have some of the most fragrant noses I've ever experienced with wine. It's very apparent that they put a lot of individual attention into each of their bottlings.“

The grounds were beautiful and we learned so much from Ashlyn as she introduced us to the property. The wine is STUNNING - unique and delicious, and different from SY valley. “This is the E11even tasting room, which is Andrew Murray's second label. While Andrew Murray Vineyards is delicious and has some standouts, we both prefer E11even, and as a bonus - they're more affordable. Becoming a member here also gets you the member perks at Andrew Murray as well. The sauv blanc, petit syrah, petit verdot, and cab franc are all standouts.

Alice usually runs the tasting room solo, and she's awesome. Loads of info and always up for a friendly chat. Well worth stopping by!“

“This is a smaller tasting room, but nicely laid back. Becca loves sharing what she knows about wine and learning about what works for YOU and why. Prolly would have gone home with a few bottles anyway but Becca made the experience even better. Plus they feature plenty of unusual varietals. Malvasia? Never even heard of it!“

“In the vast sea of tasting rooms Lefty's is an adorable little palate cleanser and the best coffee shop to trade your wine glass in for a coffee and snack.
It's a local gem that I selfishly I hope doesn't blow up but deserves to.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming, it's become its own little community.

During the week it's the perfect place to meet with friends to catch up, or sit outside in the backyard and dive into a nice book. The weekends are more lively and it's fun to meet various tourists escaping the craziness of town.

I default to the cafe latte and granola-the mix is fantastic.

Also the puzzle corner is adorable and despite my ability to effectively contribute it seems to make good progress but please help when you stop by.

“We first found Beckman on my birthday in October ‘25! I became a member after my first tasting ! Love this wine !! We had my 3 y.o. nephew in tow so we’re pleasantly surprised by the beauty- the creeks, ponds and private gazebos - the grounds offer so much for groups of any size and a “must go see” for anyone looking for a peaceful oasis in the SYV. We brought a lunch from Bob’s Well Bread (yummm!!) and Tom served our wine with the most generous smile and education of their vineyard. He is really delightful! We returned again a few weeks ago, hundreds of sheep were maintaining the grounds and we had another perfect tasting experience -t.y.Tom ! Thank you Beckman Vineyards for a wonderful experience! We are so happy to be part of your family !“

“If you are visiting Solvang CA, it is worth the short drive to visit this tasting room. We were delighted by our wine steward Izzy, who really took time to answer all of our questions. Her knowledge on the subject was very impressive. We especially enjoyed their Syrahs. We visited in late October and the weather was beautiful.“

“Absolutely obsessed with this place and it was one of the highlights of our trips! We did horseback riding at 10am with Vino Vaqueros then straight to our wine tasting reservation at Demetria at 11:30am and it was perfect! Logan was the very best and made our experience so delightful. It is the most peaceful place with the best views, shade, and live music! Highly recommend and will be back if ever in the area again!“

“When making your list of wineries to visit when you're in town, don't forget Zach Mesa! I think on the Foxen road it's become one of my favorites to visit for both the wine and the relaxed atmosphere. I LOVE the Tread label. Specifically the Pinots are fantastic. I think the other one that I loved was the Z-Three. This place is very kid friendly and even have some chickens on site and a giant chess board. Very nice, relaxed place with fantastic wine!“

“We had a great experience this weekend. We only stopped to pick up our shipment but the lady welcomed us and convinced to stay for a tasting. We had a wonderful person help us who was studying for his somelier test and told us about the wine and a recent trip to India.“

“Super awesome staff! Colbi was amazing, and was very understanding about my allergies, and acted with great care. Colbi let us review their ingredient lists, and was very accommodating. There was a lot of seating space, but there was nearly always someone waiting on a table, because of their high customer count, but the food is worth the wait! The portions are big, and it's evident that they make each sandwich with great love and care– also you can watch them make them lol. This shop is filled with lots of passion and energy, so just remember that quality takes time. If your order is slow to arrive, it just means that someone else is getting the love and attention that they deserve~“
