“Grappolo in Santa Ynez is a true gem. The food is amazing — bar none, the best ravioli we have ever had. The special pumpkin ravioli was out of this world — we can’t stop talking about it and will probably be dreaming about this dish for the next week. You have to try it! We also had the lemon caper sole, which was equally delicious and perfectly prepared. As self-proclaimed foodies, our expectations were high, but Grapolo far exceeded every one of them. Our server Eric made the evening even more memorable with his warm and attentive service. The quaint ambiance transported us straight to Tuscany — it felt like dining at a family-run hillside restaurant, authentic and second to none. We will absolutely be back — no matter what. Grapolo is a must-visit in Santa Ynez!“

“My family and i came here this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. Such a wonderful experience and beautiful art everywhere. I love that they incorporate art into their wines and use the art as their wine label and choose the wine based on what wine fits the art best. So much thought into it all and i loved that fact as i love art myself. My party and i however were a bit loud as we were just having a great time and i truly apologize. The gentleman (im sorry i didnt get your name) and Catelyn (i believe her name was, if im wrong im so sorry) was an angel to make sure there was no problem and made my family and i feel very welcomed. “Superb experience at Roblar Vineyards from the moment we entered and it continued through our departure. The hostess was kind, efficient and caring when seating us. Then on to the service that we chose - a wine tasting and lunch (we had made reservations) We received pleasant and informative wine descriptions from our knowledgeable sommelier with each taste and the proper improvised wine-taste choice that he knowingly paired with my meal! Our meals, the roast salmon and a Cobb salad were perfection enhanced with their high standard of farm fresh vegetables. As we finished, feeling totally content and enjoying the ambiance of soaring ceilings of the timber frame tasting room with the massive fireplace warming our souls, we were visited by Matt, the owner. We had an engaging chat, with him entailing the history of the vineyard and its ongoing development of the vines, the farm and the buildings. Finally, we walked the beautiful estate grounds past the active vegetable gardens to the edge of the vineyards enjoying mountain scenery all around. A memorable experience with perfect food, wine, and caring people!

“I stopped at this coffee shop while waiting for another business to open, and I am glad I did! I ordered a basic breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, and home fries with onions and peppers. I would have never thought a “basic” breakfast could taste so amazing!!

The home fries were perfectly cubed with the peppers and onions grilled perfectly, with all tasting so dang good! I know. I know. How could a coffee shop mess up these basics. Sadly, too many plays do.

I hate, and let re-iterate HATE, to see any brown on my eggs. It’s weird, I know, but that’s just me. These eggs looked as if my wife prepared them as they were so dang pretty and tasty! No brown in sight - not even on the bottom. (And I didn’t mention my preference for “no brown on my eggs”.

Now, on to the coffee. It was good. In my opinion, the coffee tasted just like I would expect coffee shop coffee to taste, but it was so much better.

And the service? I’m a black man who stopped at a coffee shop in Santa Ynez, CA. Let’s just say I don’t see many folks who look like me out here. The storefront looks like it belongs on the set of bonanza. Really! No kidding! Into my surprise, I didn’t get out one inquisitive look, no Expressions of “what is he doing here?”, nor anything that made me feel uncomfortable. My server, who happens to the Owner, Debbie, was an absolute sweetheart!

From now on when I drive through this area, I will stop and make sure I get either breakfast or lunch at the Longhorn Coffee Shop!

“After a fun night at Chumash Casino, we finally decided to try Victor Bar & Grill in Solvang — and wow, I’m so glad we did! I’d been hearing great things about this place, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
My wife ordered the filet mignon, and it was perfection — tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly how she likes it. I went for the Victor Burger fully loaded, and let me tell you… this thing is next-level. Juicy, piled high with toppings, and honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time.
The drinks deserve their own shoutout — not only delicious, but also strong. It only took me two to catch a good buzz (and I’m not a lightweight). The cocktails were crafted so well, you can tell they put care into every pour.
The ambience is super cute and quaint — perfect for date night, but also laid-back enough to just enjoy and relax. And the staff? Absolutely amazing. Friendly, attentive, and really made the whole experience feel special.“

The property is beautiful, with a large outdoor seating area—some shaded, some in the sun—and fun games like cornhole and tic-tac-toe. It’s also pet-friendly, with several people enjoying the day with their dogs. The charcuterie box was deceptively good—while it looked informal, it had a great selection of cheeses that paired perfectly with the wine. The staff was accommodating and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We arrived around 11 a.m., and by the time we left, it was bustling with couples and friends enjoying tastings. The ambiance was wonderful, and we loved soaking up the sun. Highly recommend!“
