“The Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito is quite possibly one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at! There is something so special about this place. From the moment you walk into the stunning lobby, you know you're somewhere extraordinary. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and meticulously manicured, and every little detail adds to the charm. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the beach, and the adults-only pool is such a lovely little escape to relax and unwind. The entire property has this wonderful combination of elegance, charm, and tranquility. It's one of those places that stays with you long after you've left. I absolutely loved my time here and can't wait to return!“

“I had dinner here with my wife, who is vegetarian, and this restaurant absolutely exceeded our expectations! I always thought fine dining vegetarian dishes would be just another standard vegetarian option, but the zucchini farro she had tonight was incredible. Honestly, it was so good that it was even better than my duck dish!

The plating was beautiful, and the service was top-notch as well. Everything was well executed, and you can really appreciate the thought and effort that goes into the food.

“Soup of the day (pozole verde) came with a couple slices of sourdough and I was pleasantly surprised. I hate when sourdough is thick and tough where the crush scrapes up the top of your mouth. Jeannine’s sourdough was cut thick, but when I took a bite, it was super fluffy like a fresh focaccia and the quick char was perfectly executed. The pozole was delicious, however I did find the last few slurps to be a tad overly salty. Should’ve saved some of the bread to soak up the final drops. I also ordered a mango, pineapple, orange juice smoothie which was refreshing and yummy. Highly recommend this place and the staff were very friendly.“

Prices were very reasonable. Reminded us of favorites in San Francisco. Carpinteria is fortunate to have this charming spot.“

Unfortunately, they are extremely limited on their gluten free offerings.
I would have really loved this place, but I feel their menu missed the mark.
The drinks there were pretty good though, and it's location was very convenient.

Jamie and Kim were incredible hosts, and all the wines for the event were so delicious. Kim went out of her way to help me setup (I was running later than scheduled) and Jamie is the ultimate host who makes everyone feel at home. I couldn’t ask for a better way to send my book out into the world! 📖

I would give 10 stars if I could, it was so much fun and I can’t wait to go back for more wine tastings soon! 🥂✨“

The atmosphere was dim and moody, but bright enough for me to see, my eyes do not do well in very dim places, the vibes were excellent. To see 'Howls moving castle' playing made me feel like I was in a safe space. The omakase was very intimate but also warm and welcoming because of the staff.

The omakase itself was a dream, my only wish was that I had double the serving of fish. Everything on the menu was spectacular and cared for by the chef. This experience has made me so grateful, I will definitely be returning to the Rodeo Room for a drink, a bite, or even the omakase again!“

“I love a soft serve ice cream with a hard candy shell, and this old school joint served up some of the best. I absolutely adored the butterscotch, the coating was like a the best salty sweet flavor, and the soft serve was super creamy. Mom loved her cherry … sad it was hands down better than Dairy Queen. Highly recommend!“
