“I was looking for a quick take out lunch and this place came up as highly recommended. I’m so glad I went by! The family owned establishment was very clean and the people were very friendly. The gentleman behind the counter took time to find out my sushi preferences and suggested the Hungry roll. It was very fresh and delicious! I’ll definitely be back and hope to try a sandwich. Everything I saw being prepared looked excellent. The photo isn’t the best, but I wanted to share how vibrant the fish was in the roll. Fantastic!“

“My evening at Caruso’s was a world class dining experience. I have been raving to family and friends about my new favorite place to eat on the west coast. The food was plated to perfection and served with a love for customer service unlike anywhere else.
Christian and Tre took wonderful care of my wife and I as we celebrated our anniversary. We were completely surprised and delighted when Christian asked the chef to come out and visit with us toward the end of the meal. I cannot wait to visit Santa Barbara again JUST to come enjoy the Caruso experience again.

“Chef Ramon Velasquez has done it again. We have enjoyed his other restaurants (Corazon and Comedor), and this one is just as special. We tried Ceviche Cuixmala, Tuna Tostada, Suadero taco, and the Wagyu Ribeye. All were fantastic, but the Wagyu Ribeye taco might have been one of the best tacos I have ever had. It was amazing. This place will now be a regular stop whenever we are in town.“

“Wonderful place for dinner and a drink. Relatively small menu but the food is fabulous. Carnitas street tacos, smash burger, Korean wings, brussel sprouts - all were excellent. Service is on point and pretty much any drink in the book is available and well made. My only knock, and it has more to do with my age than anything, is that the music is a tad loud when trying to hold a dinner conversation. I have been there twice now and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.“

“Food was great! We tried the sweet breads- my favorite, lobster gnocchi-daughters fave, ramen-good, scallops-super lite and fresh, and the catch of the day-very tasty. The amazing menu doesn’t necessarily lend itself to picky kid eaters (my son) but he loved the catch of the day with the sauce on the side. The food took a while as they were pretty busy so the manager comp’d 2 desserts which were both spectacular! We will be back!!“

“Tasty food at reasonable prices served by super friendly people - a winning combination!

We were shopping in the area and decided to eat here based on the ratings. It has a small indoor dining area but is heavily focused on outdoor seating. We ordered and paid at the counter and they brought our food out to us once seated. From the order to the food delivery, everyone we encountered was very pleasant and helpful.

The food was freshly prepared, had good portion sizes and tasted great. Everyone commented on how good it was. I had the ham torta and it was delicious. Nice combo of ingredients, excellent bread and just a hint of heat.“

“Had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Siam Street Food while in Santa Barbara.

I’ve traveled to Thailand and have eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants throughout LA and Orange County, so I have a pretty good frame of reference. The food here was excellent across the board. We ordered the Pad See Ew, Spicy Basil, Tom Yum Soup, Mango Sticky Rice, and Thai Tea. Every dish was packed with flavor and tasted fresh and authentic. The Thai tea was especially good because it wasn’t overly sweet, which is how I prefer it.

What stood out just as much as the food was the hospitality. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our server, April, was so sweet and took great care of us throughout the meal.

They were kind enough to comp the Thai tea after hearing my compliments, but honestly, I had already planned on leaving a review before they even brought it up. Great food and great service deserve recognition.

Also, sorry that the only picture I have is of the mango sticky rice. I was too busy enjoying the rest of the meal to stop and take photos, which probably tells you everything you need to know.

“So much fun! The original soft serve wheel grew to Love dipped cones of all sorts of varieties. They do have dairy-free ice cream for those who need that. My daughter got the dairy-free chocolate ice cream with peanut butter topping and it was very good. They have great variety and good prices. Something for everyone.“

“This is an interesting restaurant. They sell furniture, so that's different. It's very clean, bright, and with quiet. The menu is uninspired, but the food was good. If you're looking for well executed basic entrees, this is the place. My only gripe is the prices. Entrees run mid 40s to mid 60s. At those kind of prices, I expect an exceptional menu as that is exceptionally executed. While it was good, it's not at a level that justifies the prices. It seems the owners are more interested in the restaurant being a posh experience than they are in it being a culinary gold standard. I imagine there are plenty of people who are fine with this.“

“This is my local coffee shop. I come here daily. Coffee is strong and good. One thing has bugged me for awhile though: the staff has started the habit of storing chairs and tables more than an hour before closure and I feel this is not the service level expected when you pay more than $5 for a coffee. Cleaning in restaurants and bars should never happen before closure anyway. It is implicitly telling customers they are not welcome. Hopefully the leadership picks up on it because overall it is a good spot and I would hate going somewhere else.“

“This ia a greate place! Their menu is fantastic—finally, something different. The green salsa is unique. The Montecristo is expertly made, and the green chile is a work of art.

I also have to mention that our server, Valeria, made our visit even more enjoyable; she was very friendly.
