The atmosphere is super cute and cozy. It honestly reminded me of the coffee shop from the TV show Friends. You can tell they have a lot of regular customers, which is always a good sign and says a lot about the quality of both the drinks and the service.

Everyone was friendly, and the overall experience was great. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by and treating yourself to a large iced caramel macchiato—not a small like I did!

“l Love Starbucks. I visit the store 3-6 times a week depending on my work schedule. But I am so tired of going to my hometown Starbucks (Channel Islands) and it either being closed all day, closes early or only can get drinks from the drive thru. Ever since the manager has changed at the store it is almost impossible to purchase a coffee. Your stocks are done and now I can't even get a coffee from your business...so disappointed“

“When Ventura first opened up my wife and I ordered meals to go unfortunately things were a little shaky at the time and the meals were short certain items and some things were correct. After calling Ventura and talking to the manager they agreed that next time we come in the meals would be on them. Well as time goes along some things get lost and today the wife found the receipt and called up the restaurant and talk to the manager his name is Nicholas. Well he did a great job he not only provided the meals for us but he was Very very cordial about it and thoroughly understanding he did a great job he made a lifetime customer with my wife and I and I appreciate his hard work and the good food that comes out of this restaurant thank you“

“THE best pizza in the 805! Crust is never floppy or soggy, toppings always fresh and plentiful, good sauce options, bomb salad bar and ranch. Moved away and it’s on the must-have list when I come home. Usually buy an extra one and bring it back. Had someone overnight it across country to me once. Seriously. “The family and I tried Masala Twist in Oxnard today and it's probably the best Indian food in Ventura County. The food was quick and the people were friendly. Its hard to get the kids to try new things, but they definitely enjoyed the saffron rice and butter chicken.“

This is the first time I’ve paid tax at the farmers market anything else is a solid price, corn is 5.00 flat, nuts are 5$ flat, huge agua Fresca is 10$ flat you get where I’m going with this. It’s delicious however paying 17$ for a drink did hurt. I mean that’s the price of a meal these days. Drink flavor taste etc 5/5 price 2/5.“

“I stepped a little outside my usual food rotation and ended up at Kaapicat Cafe in downtown Ventura—and I’m glad I did.

I went with the paneer dosa, and honestly, it felt like having dessert for lunch in the best way possible. Warm, flavorful, spicy, and just one of those meals that hits right away.

I showed up about 20 minutes before closing (at 1:40pm on a Thursday), so things were already winding down. The outdoor seating had been put away, but I was still able to grab my food and sit over at the tables next door at Moby’s on Main, which worked out just fine.

It feels like one of those places that would be great to hang out if you catch it earlier. There’s a bit of an artistic vibe in the decor and the way it’s set up. The interior has those classic old red bricks that are part of the downtown Ventura scene, and I appreciate that they didn’t cover them up with some other type of wall finish.

They’re displaying artwork from a local artist, which I always appreciate as I’m a local artist myself. It adds to that relaxed, creative, vibrant downtown feel that I enjoy in spots like this. I’m always happy when a place supports the local art scene.“

“Dan closed the brewery down for the Ventura County Sportfishing Club holiday party event. 60-70 members/guests attended. The staff handled the party with aplomb and assured everyone enjoyed the evening. This is some of the best craft beer you can find. The food was amazing and plentiful especially the short ribs. I would encourage a visit for some great beers. And if you are having an event, I would strongly suggest working with these folks. These are some of the nicest people you will find at any establishment in Ventura. I will be a regular.“

It's a pleasant atmosphere for families, friends or individuals. You can even find a seat at the counter and watch the food service in action. “Our nephew and his wife took us there today for breakfast. I had the Breakfast Burrito with brisket, and it was sensational! I’ve never cooked a brisket, and Tom kindly showed me two he smoked last night, both beautifully browned and crusty, and ready to be sliced across the grain. “I was first introduced to Bright Spark In March at the Ventura Beer Experience. We talked with a lovely couple behind the table and tasted Day Trip, which has become my all-time favorite. We were introduced to a concept called Musical Bingo that day, and I was delighted to make my first visit to the brewery on my 55th birthday in May. Every single one of the employees there was kind, gracious, and warm. The food was absolutely amazing and the Musical Bingo is so much fun! I have since been dragging people left and right there and recommending you guys because of what a great laid back family-friendly atmosphere it is.
