I have been coming to this donut shop for years. It is a local spot on the Avenue that everyone has been to. They open up very early and are even open at night. They always make everything fresh there and most times you do need to come early to get your picks because they run out quick. Stopped to get a quick coffee and croissant this morning. Service is always friendly and fast. This is a little walk up counter on the sidewalk so there is no inside or anywhere to sit.

Just tried Russel's for the first time. Wow!The buttermilk and apple fritter were the best I've ever had.Fritter was perfectly crisp on the outside yet moist and full of apple and cinnamon flavors on the inside. The buttermilk was exactly what you'd want it to be.Combine that with great customer service and you gotta try this place out!
