“Delicious espresso and delightfully foamed milk - made to perfection, Mocha and Americano. The baristas were so wonderful. Loved our conversations while the drinks were getting prepared. Didn’t get to try the wine today but the vibe is great and we will be back!“

“It is a very nice shop with a simple layout and spacious setup for people to sit and enjoy their drink. I wanted to try their nitro cold brew but the nitro system wasn't working, so I tried their cold brew which had good flavor. They also had a variety of other drink options including seasonal specials.

The service was also quick and they were able to adequately answer my specific questions about their various bags of coffee for sale.“

“These folks seriously make the best chai latte I’ve ever had in my life. No sugar-loaded mixes, but rather a strong, spicy chai tea brewed in-house. And their baked goods are delectable, even featuring a selection of gluten free and vegan delights. Their customer service is stellar, too. Singing Sun is in a convenient midtown location - at the corner of Main St and Santa Cruz - and is not to be missed. But please leave me a vegan scone.“

“This is a convenient Starbucks location inside the Vons. They recently enabled online ordering so now you can order in the Starbucks app to have your drink ready when you arrive.
The store is nice and bright inside, the hustle of the grocery workers and shoppers keeping the place busy. No real place to sit, more of a grab and go location.
I ordered the Horchata Shaken Expresso and it came out really good. Only 1 person behind the counter, so I imagine it can get pretty busy here.“

“Compliments to Gayla, the mixers and roasters at Moore Coffee. I thought the Classic Espresso was the best. Surprisingly I find the 805 with an even more complex and rich flavor. My espresso machine labors thru the finely ground mixture and takes an eternal 30-40 seconds producing a thick crema that is almost half the shot. Good work guys!I've never been to the brick and tin but I suspect great service and atmosphere. What could be bad about the aroma of fresh roasted coffee.Fabulous!Urban Cowgill April 2024“

“I had jury duty at the Ventura courthouse and when I was through, I was starving so I decided to go to eggs and things I ordered the chorizo, scrambled eggs, and English muffin with strawberry raspberry preserves and then of course you get the Swedish pancake, which is exactly why I’m so obsessed with this place. The service was spectacular. I got iced tea to drink. I never waited for anything. Everything was always there. The owner of the of the restaurant was so nice. Make sure everything was good. I can’t wait to go back. I’ll actually make a special trip to go to that exit and things particularly cause the service was so great and the honor was so nice.“

The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns were nice and crispy, and the coffee was smooth without being bitter. The server was super attentive and made sure our coffee cups stayed full the whole time. “I visited Makenna with my kids on a Saturday morning, ages one to ten. The staff are always super nice and friendly. Ashely helped us out and she was great, interacting with all the kids and making the visit very special. My kids look forward to trying different drinks, picking out a favorite snack, looking through the new merch and sometimes getting a sticker. Well done Mackenna, we will be back again soon! :-)“

“I went to Mai's for Pho on a rainy day. It was very warm and comforting, flavors were great and size was generous. The meat wasn't my favorite, I wish I got chicken. Atmosphere is very casual. The kpop demon hunters music played 5 times in a row before they finally changed it. Loved the food, good spot in a strange neighborhood.“

“What I like about this place is what makes it different from the many other Starbucks locations in Ventura: the caring staff and their effort to create a sense of community. In the period of time I was in here with my kid who was sick out of school and doing some workbooks, the staff: 1) warmly greeted us and expressed interest in us as customers & as people, 2) rushed over to bring replacement egg bites after some went down on floor, without me even having to get back in line to ask, 3) provided my 6 year old with a whole array of colorful markers! They are gracious and kind~hearted. We are not part of the usual group of people from the high school and college who seem to frequent the place as regulars, but they made us feel welcomed as part of the community and that makes this place special. It is not just corporate ~ because of the people who work here. Thank you. I appreciate the “small” moments of caring in life. They make a difference. And so does coffee :)“
