“Came here to pick up pastries for a work meeting. Read reviews on Yelp and decided to try it. The employees were very friendly and helped me pick out some of the favorites. The place has great outdoor seating and also indoor. One of the fav cookies was the Spotted Cow. I got a few of those and some Easter egg cookies. Everyone loved them. I also snagged me a blueberry scone. It was soft and flaky but it lacked the flavor I was expecting. There were many other pastries to choose from. They also serve food. They had some great looking sandwiches that I would love to go back and try.“
“OMG, the açaí bowl was to die for! My girls tried it for the first time and totally fell in love with it . Plus, the people there were super sweet and made us feel right at home. They even had puzzles on a table, and the kids were totally into it, having a blast. I totally recommend this spot! The prices were really reasonable, and the latte? Oh, so good! We had such a great time there. And can we talk about the beachy vibes? Perfect after a long drive. They also had these amazing paintings for sale, and the whole place had such cool decorations that totally set the mood. Definitely 5-star worthy!“

“We went to this bakery to get a cake and it was excellent. A friend said he normally doesn't like cake, but said this cake is so good (and he asked for seconds). It was delicious (not too sweet, just the right amount of flavor, and moist). It was beautiful, too (came out very pretty with flowers and colors as we had requested). I will hope to get more cakes from this bakery when we celebrate here (I think it is the best bakery in the county, and I have tried quite many). Also, don't let the prices make you think it is not a great bakery; they are just very fair with their pricing (the cake was inexpensive but still it was very delicious).“
“Butter and Fold is FABULOUS. The team is welcoming, friendly and committed to the highest quality of food and drinks. I regularly enjoy croissants from Izola, in the east village of San Diego and voted the best croissant in 2022 by yelp AND B&F comes close to the same buttery interior and flaky exterior that makes a perfect croissant. Simply excellent croissants! I love them so much I haven’t tried their other pastries yet. As an espresso *snob* I appreciate that they always give great care to a perfectly calibrated shot. They are adventurous with the beans they use and it’s a delightful experience to try different roasters through B&F. The beautiful interior is relaxing and comfortable. GREAT JOB B&F!“
“Absolutely wonderful. Everything was fresh and delicious. Nothing was too sweet.The lovely lady at the counter happily walked me through the day’s selection. She said it changed every day. Everything looked incredible, it was hard to choose. We ended up with a raspberry and chocolate twist, a pineapple strudel, a croissant breakfast sandwich, a mocha and a cold brew.The twist and the strudel were perfectly fruity, flaky and soft. The sandwich was freshly made with ham, eggs and cheese. The pistachio croissant was heavenly. Perfectly crusty and flaky, a light pistachio pastry cream in the center, covered in crushed pistachios and sugar, without being overly sweet.Cannot wait to come back and try more.“
