“Love the concept of the weekly menu change. Bummed closed Sundays cause that’s when I always seem to want cookies! Prompts me to look at the menu on Monday. Buttery cakey flavors are my favorite. Stoked to see they have minis as an option now. App makes it easy, but service is always speedy when you walk in.

“Clemente are absolute masters of sourdough. Their bread is some of the best I've ever had, anywhere. I love the special flavors they rotate every few weeks, and their whole wheat is legendary (whole wheat is particularly difficult to do as naturally leavened sourdough). And don't forget to get a cookie - the Tahini chocolate chip is delicious.“

Problem is last time I went the music was so loud it was hard to have a conversation. I'd prefer some soft meditative music--I wonder how other customers feel. Are there any good songs about frogs--that seems appropriate given the frog figures displayed? Is there a song from Mr. Toad's Wild Ride? Or frog and swamp sounds perhaps?

They try to be inclusive, in the sense of treating their employees well, which is to be highly commended. In my mind, there are no inclusive restaurants in Ojai, since a lot of elderly people and others on lower incomes can't afford to eat out. A restaurant, the Green Table, in Santa Barbara, was truly inclusive. It had a bulletin board where people posted donations of meals to those who couldn't afford to eat at the restaurant. I would believe in inclusiveness if I saw that--otherwise, it's just words, not complete.

“Really great pizza. Best pizza I’ve had since moving to CA from NYC. Really good ratios, taste, and crisp/texture. The owner had our pizzas out fast despite having difficulty with an arm injury. Will definitely be back, will be my go to weekly pizza spot. Highly recommend!“

“Stopped by Avenue Donuts while on a trip to see family and it did not disappoint! Had their ham and cheese croissant, a chocolate donut with sprinkles, and a hot cup of black tea. Service was quick, food was great, and the owners were super friendly! LOVED the decor and had to take a pic in front of the big fish on the wall! Can't wait to come back again!!!!“

“We went to this bakery to get a cake and it was excellent. A friend said he normally doesn't like cake, but said this cake is so good (and he asked for seconds). It was delicious (not too sweet, just the right amount of flavor, and moist). It was beautiful, too (came out very pretty with flowers and colors as we had requested). I will hope to get more cakes from this bakery when we celebrate here (I think it is the best bakery in the county, and I have tried quite many). Also, don't let the prices make you think it is not a great bakery; they are just very fair with their pricing (the cake was inexpensive but still it was very delicious).“

After the third-party member picked up the order and did not deliver for almost three hours, I requested a refund for the melted ice cream which I received promptly.
