Stopped by Avenue Donuts while on a trip to see family and it did not disappoint! Had their ham and cheese croissant, a chocolate donut with sprinkles, and a hot cup of black tea. Service was quick, food was great, and the owners were super friendly! LOVED the decor and had to take a pic in front of the big fish on the wall! Can't wait to come back again!!!!
best mom and pop donut shop in ventura!! the owners, kathy and wilson, are the absolute kindest, sweetest people despite me taking a while to get my large order in. every pastry was perfectly crunchy outside while pillowy soft on the inside; greatest donuts and pastries ive ever had. i will DEFINITELY be coming back!! next time i’ll even buy a lottery ticket too.
I’ve been stopping by Avenue Donuts almost every morning on my way to work and again some evenings on my way home, and it has become one of my favorite local spots. The donuts are always fresh, the shop is clean, and it smells amazing the moment you walk in. My kids love coming here too, which says a lot.
