She came out and asked me what was in it because it took the nausea and pain away. She has a hiatal hernia but has managed to keep symptoms under control with herbal tea.“

Second they taste fresh ..and not too sugary or oily flavored. The couple who operate the shop are very friendly and the bakery is always clean. The store is situated in a shopping plaza... so it's first come, first serve..in regards to parking. You can also park on the curb corner or the office plaza next door after 5pm. They also sell coffee,cold drink's and lottery tickets. They stay open..until 7 or 8pm. The donuts they have are from glazed, bacon flavored,rice crispy, croissants,rolls, chocolate ??? , caramel, chocolate, chips and a variety. They have seating,,that fits about 5-9 people... “The quintessential, ideal local donut shop. Always fresh, always delicious across a wide spectrum of offerings, and very reasonably priced (this is no bougie Sidecar-esque joint, just outstanding, classic donuts). Parking is free and easy, the proprietors are nice, they're open long hours, I honestly can't think of a single negative thing about it. It's to the point where I find myself making excuses to come grab their donuts any time I can. I've tried most of their offerings in the 3 years since I moved to the area, and you really can't go wrong with anything...but if I had to pinpoint my personal favorites, it's gotta be the glazed buttermilk bar, the chocolate chip roll, and the old-fashioned. I hope this place is here forever.“

“One of my friends had been recommending that I try Philz Coffee so this spot had been on my mind for awhile. This coffee shop is just a tad hidden from the main drag but upon putting it in my GPS it was pretty easy to find. This coffee shop does get busy. I came around 1:30pm and there was still a good line so just be patient with the crew as it seems to be a popular spot. The inside was welcoming and it was easy to follow the signage to get into a line. The seating inside is semi limited but it was cozy. They had plenty of outdoor tables which was nice. A lot of people were inside on their laptops getting to work, had that quintessential coffee shop atmosphere. The menu here is fun because their iced drinks are just truly unique. I feel like the coffee combinations and pictures really seal the deal in making me want to purchase their stuff because it was really hard to narrow down my coffee order. Normally I'd be inclined to order their mint mojito drinks but I came on a cloudy cold day so went with a hot latte, I ordered the Philtered Soul which was a hot hazelnut latte with extra cream and sugar added to make it "the house way". This had to be one of the best lattes I've ever had. The drinks here are A+ in originality, taste, and presentation. I really like their coffee cups as the lids are almost transparent. For food I was skeptical but went with their sausage breakfast burrito. I will have to say for a fast coffee shop burrito it was totally tasty and filling. I was impressed as it definitely exceeded my expectations. I'd recommend their breakfast here over the big competitors burritos any day. It had good flavor and was a decent size. If you're in a pinch and need something to eat the burritos here will do you just fine. Lastly I want to give 5 stars to the staff and service. The people that work here are extremely nice and professional. I liked that even when they were busy they still made eye contact with every customer to acknowledge them and to tell them that they would be with them in a minute. Even when you'd get up to the register they'd acknowledge you between making drinks. Like I mentioned before the day I came was pretty busy, they did a good job communicating with the customers, they gave a heads up that they were backed up on drinks and if everyone was okay with waiting it could take up to ten minutes for your order to come out. Everyone in line stayed, so I think that's a testament that good communication can go a long way and that the drinks are worth waiting for. I was still pretty impressed with how quick they were with getting out orders despite being busy. I really only waited about five minutes from the time I paid for my order and grabbed a spot to sit down. The staff here rock and they deserve your business (and a nice little tip). I can tell I'm going to be a big Philz fan if their drinks and service are going to be this consistent. Definitely give this spot a try, a great coffee shop addition to the 805.“
“Matcha Boba is a nice little local shop that offers a good variety of milk teas and other drinks. They have everything you’d expect from a boba shop, but also offer mushroom coffee and other unique drinks.The staff is very friendly and the prices are average, but the interior is pretty small and the service a a little slow, so it may not be your best option if you’re in a hurry.Overall, the tea flavors are very good and will leave you wanting to go back for more.“
“Ok they rock here and now it needs to be five stars! Busy morning and in error my husband ordered at another location. He went to counter to explain and the lovely lady and another lady with cool multi colored hair said no problem and corrected the situation and made his coffee and breakfast with a smile. We just showed the phone and they went to work. This was so kind. Mine was ordered correctly and at right place and it was perfect. Great start to our morningWent this morning for drinks and a ham and cheese crossiant. It was barely 6am. The pastry was hot and we ate some while waiting for our coffees. We need caffeine today so we both had six shot drinks with 4 regular and 2 decaf we understand making 12 shots takes a few minutes. No problem. The drinks were fine and overall a decent experience. They have a drive through as well as we just walked in the pouring rain there. They were discussing who would make the drinks which was a little strange however. “On our drive to Los Olivos we stopped by to get coffee. I found this on Yelp. It's a spacious beautiful cafe serving lots of interesting drinks. We kept it simple cause we just stopped by to get coffee. I ordered a cold brew with easy milk and my husband got drip coffee with steamed milk. The coffee here tastes amazing, it's organic and has low acidity. My kind of coffee. Service was friendly and fast. I'll add this to my favorites for sure and try other drinks in the future. We drive north a lot so it will be a good spot for us to take a break.“

The beans are perfectly roasted, and unusual menu items like Los Cubano (double shot with brown sugar and crema) and the Blueberry Lavender Latte are a real treat.
