“We have become regulars. Wonderful food and amazing service from Bobby each visit!!! They are the best. Can recommend chicken pakora, dal mahkni, chicken mahkni and vegetable korma as well as samosas and naan.”
“This place is beyond any restaurant I have ever been to. The owners are so sweet and genuine about their service, they truly care about the enjoyment of their customers. The food is even better than the service. Fushion Grill has some of the best food I have ever tasted with good, fresh ingredients. You can tell it is made with love and care for the customer. Overall this place is fabulous, I have visited a few times over the years and every time is better than the last.”

“Authentic Japanese experience available at 2 PM for small talk, private consideration of important life decisions, or enjoying the wait for someone.
A shocking, unexpected entrance into an impressive, realistic somewhat formal Japanese environment.
Given the observation and experience above, a small note inside the establishment reminds patrons that hot dogs are not served here!”
“We sat outside. So pleasant. He ordered the blackened shrimp tacos with avocado. I got the combo, grilled 5 cheese, Ceasars salad and onion rings. Totally recommend both meals! Gotta get the tacos with the avocado, apparently. Great experience and we will be back! Thanks, Lazy Dog!”

“Friendly family owned business. I work at St.Johns Pleasant Valley Hospital and they donated delicious meals for all the employees during the COVID crisis. I will always support them because of their kindness and thoughtfulness. Extra bonus is that the food is so delicious!”
“Best Steakhouse in town! Food is amazing from the appetizers, main dishes to desserts! The bar is beautiful and filled with top shelf brands. The staff is great! Very knowledgeable and super friendly with fantastic recommendations. The owners and chief are frequently walking the dining room and making sure you are having a great experience. Highly recommended.”

“This is our second great date night at the mighty axe and thanks to JT’s axe throwing tutorial, we managed to pretend that we were professionals when in reality, we are just lucky to hit the board. My wrists are messed up right now, so he was really helpful in helping me find a way to throw without causing pain. I early recommend this place and JT! Be back soon!”

“My husband and I just happened to be in the Thousand Oaks area and found Pokitomik through a google search. We are VERY GLAD we did! The fish is incredibly fresh, great portions, and the owner is the kindest man you’ll ever meet. I’m picky about my poké, but I loved everything about this eatery. 10/10 recommend!”

“I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review for Side Street, I am always in a happy food comma post-brunch and forget. Side Street has long been my absolute favorite restaurant in Ventura County! When it comes to the menu at Side Street, you genuinely can't make a wrong choice. Personally, I'm hooked on their country fried steak and waffles. Hands down the best gravy you'll ever have! There's something about the way they make their coffee that has me drinking half a pot of coffee I swear. When I go out to eat, I expect the food to be better than what I could make myself at home. It's a standard that so many breakfast/lunch restaurants seem to miss, but Side Street consistently exceeds these expectations without fail. What sets Side Street apart is not only the outstanding food but also their commitment to keeping prices reasonable. You definitely get more than your money's worth here! So many of their dishes come with 1) eggs, 2) toast or biscuits & gravy, AND 3) home fries or hash browns. It's a breakfast lover's dream come true! In the post-COVID era, the closure of so many beloved family-owned restaurants was heartbreaking. Side Street not only weathered the storm but continues to thrive. Stepping into Side Street feels like entering a home away from home. Suzanne, the owner and founder, is a constant presence, working alongside her husband, Ryan, and son, Drew. This is as family-owned as it gets, and that authenticity resonates in every corner of the restaurant. What truly makes Side Street special is the family environment. Every member of the staff makes the atmosphere so welcoming. It's evident that they take pride in providing exceptional service, making each visit a memorable experience. In a time where good, family-owned establishments are hard to come by, Side Street stands out as a beacon of what going to a restaurant should be. From the warm atmosphere to the delicious food and impeccable service, this restaurant will always be my go-to. If you haven't experienced the magic of Side Street, it's about time you do! Truly a hidden gem of Ventura County!”
“I go there often. The seafood is fresh and the lamb entrees are both outstanding! The service is always very efficient, welcoming and accommodating! We love this place! I highly recommend.”
“Paolo and Jose were lovely. The food is delicious and the service was even better! Nice quiet night with my mom. She goes here frequently and it was my first time.”

“Went for Sunday Brunch with the family. It was absolutely wonderful. The selections were varied and delicious with something for everyone. The lamb chops, ribeye and salad bar were a perfect compliment to the meal. Do yourself a favor and enjoy the Lava cake for dessert.”
“Was not expecting much from the menu but was very pleasantly surprised. Chicken wings were really good-best I’ve had in a very long time. Also great pastrami sandwich and generous drinks. Staff very friendly and really anxious to please. Definitely my new sports bar.”
“Located inside of Nordstrom at The Oaks Mall (on the 2nd floor), this restaurant is a nice little hideaway from all typical dining choices available when I work in TO. It's familar, and also nice, but not pretentious. The food and drinks are consistently good and on par with the other locations, and the service is great ( service may be even better than some other locations). Thank you for the pleasant service, wonderful food, and hideaway vibes in TO”
“We came between lunch and dinner/early dinner. The restaurant was quiet. The food was excellent. We got the pollo saltado and the Ceviche. They are both excellent. The staff was so helpful since this is our first time here. The portion is very large They also serve breakfast, which I will try next week. For my next visit, I will try the tamale and their fried banana. 😋”

“I absolutely love Urbane Cafe! Every time I come in, the staff is so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind it really makes the experience even better. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the fish sandwich is AMAZING. It’s one of my go-to spots and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!”
“It was a wonderful experience that let us try a few flavors. I've never had gelato. It was delectable. I went with the Elvis, the peanut butter chocolate and the lemon sorbetto It was great. The lemon reminded me of my childhood where you get the frozen lemonade in a cup and eat it with the popsicle stick. They even had board games you and a friend can enjoy. It was a great time”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I have been living near for close to a decade. I don't know how long this taco truck has been here. I do remember when I moved here, there was a teenager k that I found too expensive so I never tried it. Part of the problem is that I knew other places that I'd rather go eat at. Now a days, either said places aren't as good and those that are, are simply too far of a drive.
That is how I ended up coming here for the first time and was I glad I did. The prices arw too bad and their tacos are great. I got tacos of carne asada and chorizo. Both were extremely good and it is hard to find taco trucks with good of these meats.
Don't be afraid to stop by. When I did, there was no one around. Before I knew it, the place got packed. All kinds of people came to eat or apparently ordered ahead.”
“Had these bundt cakes at a birthday party on Saturday evening and they were fantastic. I tried the vanilla, red velvet, and chocolate. All were really good. I especially liked the chocolate one. Rich chocolate flavor, moist, with just the right amount of frosting. I appreciate that the frosting wasn't too sweet so that the flavors weren't overpowered. Lots of attention to all details made for outstanding results.”
“I just wanted to thank the owner and staff for your generosity and patience yesterday on your busiest day of the year. On a whim I decided to stop by. My family was super happy when I got home. Our boys decided every Friday will be Valentino's. And I couldn't agree more. Thank you again.”
“This is where we get cakes and cookies when we want to level up our hosting game or show up at someone’s house with something gorgeous and decadent. Definitely a huge step up from your average grocery store bakery and that’s reflected in the pricing, but depending on your needs, totally worth it.
Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free bakery items too.”
“Fresh, no skimping, great options, friendly service, order always correct, open all day. Best sushi spot in East Ventura County/Conejo!”

“Huge variety of shaved ice love all the flavors I have tried 🍧”
“Joe & his staff were amazing! Very kind, welcoming, and attentive. Amazing service and amazing food. The food was delicious. The rice was one of the best rice I ever had. Very authentic Mexican food. Definitely will be going back for more. Best Mexican food in TO and very good customer service!”
“Absolutely fantastic! 🌮 The food was authentic and full of flavor, the service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere made me feel like I was in Mexico. Every dish was fresh and perfectly seasoned — especially the tacos! Definitely a 5-star experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Very much enjoy this place. Only go here on occasion because it is pricey but the smoothies and bowls are delicious and very filling! I got the “mystic” smoothie which had cinnamon, dates, vanilla and a ton of other stuff. My husband got the “pink” something and it tasted like fresh pineapple. Very good !”
“Went to robeks with my husband and got two drinks to share. My husband normally likes the fruit stuff and I like more of the rich stuff. I got the “nuts about protein” which was fantastic. It’s Coffee, Peanut Butter, Cinnamon, Honey, Frozen Yogurt, Low Calorie Active Water, Multi-Vitamin and Whey Protein. My husband got the “big Wednesday” which is Peach, Strawberries, Banana, Orange Sherbet, Pineapple Sherbet, and Papaya Juice. It was very sweet and he loved it! We will definitely be back as we prefer this place over some of the other smoothie places”
“When Pierre Chapet gets involved with a Restaurant you know your getting the freshest sushi 🍣 and the best services out there! Abraham Essinger, LCT Bend, Oregon”
“The desserts were fantastic. Great service and delicious kabobs.”
“This is the first time I've been in the shop and purchased anything, and I really love this place! The employees are very knowledgeable, the prices are reasonable for the quality of the product, and the overall vibe of the store is peaceful and enjoyable. I live out of town, but the next time I come back I'm making another visit. Would definitely recommend.”
“Came here during the grand reopening and was very happy with the food and service!
Love the cucumber salad with spicy garlic crisp on the side
My favorite broth to get is the Kombu with broth booster and a little of the chili paste that they have.
Also gotta have the salmon sashimi that was really good as well.
10/10!!!”
“I've been here a few times since they opened. My favorites are the catfish, shrimp, collard greens, yams, rolls, and hush puppies. The prices are SUPER low compared to other seafood/cajun places and the staff has always been kind. I hope they'll be around for a long time so that I can try everything on the menu 😊”

“Sunset Terrace is my "GO TO" social and sports bar in Thousand Oaks and I frequent 3 times a week. By far they have the best happy hour on weekdays 3 - 7 pm. (Drinks - 50% off / Food - 25% off). They have plenty of pool tables, big screen TVs, and the only bowling alley (4 lanes) in town. The crowd is mostly locals who welcome newbies and make them feel right at home. The bartenders and servers are friendly and efficient and I rate their food a #10. The have security and I like the fact that never have I seen a fight there. Give it a try and I promise you can't go wrong. Thanks for reading this, Bruce Love”

“Awesome food. Nice workers. Sometimes we are quick to complaint about the service but we are seldom compliment a good job the restaurant and workers provide us. With this pandemic we need to let them know how we appreciate them and to thank them for providing excellent food and a WOW service..”

“They have some really good food, and the workers are always nice. The dining room is a little cramped and just a bit too dim. It's a good place to go for a quick breakfast or lunch.
Vegetarian options: Really good salad options.
Parking: Huge mall parking lot right out front.”

“Everything—from the food to the atmosphere—was excellent. We came with a large group, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive. Our meals arrived quickly, and everyone left happy and satisfied. We’re already looking forward to our next West Coast trip so we can explore more of the menu.”

“Wow wow wow! So excited to have this place in our backyard. We got the mango snow ice with mango sherbet. It’s very fine flavored shaved ice. It’s everything you want snow to be when you eat it! There was rose jelly at the bottom which was a fun surprise. I’m still buzzing from how good that was. Customer service was great. They’re very friendly and helpful. This place is in our permanent rotation”
“Go Fish & Sushi has officially become our go-to spot. We’ve made it a tradition to eat here pretty much every Friday, and even when we can't stay, their takeout is just as high-quality and fresh.
Why We Love It:
The Chef’s Specials: We’ve ordered almost every special roll on the menu at this point, and they are consistently delicious. You can tell the fish is fresh and the combinations are well-thought-out.
Generous Portions: Unlike many sushi spots that overcharge for tiny bites, the portions here are very satisfying. You definitely get your money's worth.
Kid-Approved: Our kids absolutely love the Salmon Teriyaki. It’s their favorite spot to go get dinner after gymnastics.
Atmosphere: It is incredibly family-friendly. The staff always makes us feel welcome, which makes dining out with the whole crew much less stressful.
If you’re looking for a reliable, tasty, and welcoming sushi spot, this is it. We’ll see you guys next Friday!”

“Nice and cozy boba place. This one is in the Thousand Oaks Mall, first floor close to the food court. Kids said their drinks were tasty. They ordered strawberry mango boba smoothies and lychee smoothie. They drunk up everything. Recommended for people who like boba drink. Cheers!”
“Amazing cafe with ceremonial-grade matcha drinks — absolutely loved the matcha cold foam in the matcha squared drink, also enjoyed the hot lavender bloom latte. This was a great cafe, appreciated everything about the experience and stayed to work a bit longer 😁
On day 2, tried a dirty matcha squared with a shot of espresso and it was even better 😋
A very nice atmosphere for working (the music is a bit loud, but the furniture and tables are comfy and there are outlets)”
