“This is my go to for takeout when I visit my parents in Thousand Oaks. The food is delicious and high-quality. If you like spicy food, this is probably your best bet in the area. I would not skip on the garlic noodles. Their website is used for pick up, food is always on time, well packages, and they have service with a smile.“

“The Pan Kitchen is a pretty solid restaurant. Whenever I try a new Thai place, I always try the pad kra pao. I enjoyed their take on it; it was flavorful and spicy.

The curry we ordered, though, had this intense orangeness to it and smelled like canned tomato sauce. It tasted way better than it smelled, but the initial impression was just... Odd.

The service was fine, though a little slow - and we were the only ones in the place for most of our dinner. The servers spent a lot of time loudly talking behind the register. Which like, I don't care, except when I'm waiting for a refill or something...

The place is cute though, nice decor, vibrant with plants.

“I’ve been here a couple of times and this place doesn’t disappoint. We were five of us and decided to order the food family style so we could sample different dishes. Laab— being a Marvel fan, I can’t eat or order this dish without thinking of Spider Man. When Peter Parker is with his aunt May in a Thai restaurant and she says she Laab’s him 🥰 There’s something so refreshing about this dish — ground chicken, mint, thai basil and a chili lime dressing. It was delicious and fresh tasting. Roti and curry sauce - so interestingly roti is the Indian whole wheat flour East Indian flatbread that is usually cooked on a cast iron ‘tava’ and finished on the open flame. It is a daily staple in the meals of most Indian families. But for Thai people, roti is a fried version of this. Served with a green curry sauce as an appetizer it takes on a completely different flavor. Slightly greasy but I mean come on, how can you go wrong with fried dough. The green curry sauce is delicious. Khao Soi - this dish came with egg noodles already in it, but also with crispy noodles that softened as they soaked into the curry. Pad See Ew - flat rice noodles with egg and Chinese broccoli. We ordered this with tofu and holy cow it might be the best tofu I’ve eaten. It was perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside and creamy deliciousness on the inside. It soaked in the flavors of the dish so well- I wanted to keep eating this well past my full point. This was definitely my favorite. And now, since mangoes are in season, they had mango sticky rice as dessert. I was raised in India and so am a mango snob. Nothing, and I do mean nothing compares to an Indian Alphonso mango. But, the mango they served us, with purple jasmine sticky rice was something I grudgingly had to agree was delicious. And the sweet juiciness of the mango contrasts perfectly with the creamy texture of the sticky rice. No Thai meal is ever complete without Thai iced tea— which was delicious and well made. All in all a really delicious meal. Service was slightly on the slower side - but we were in no hurry and ended up lingering for quite a while after the meal. Can’t wait to go back.“

“What an amazing experience from start to finish! We came as a group of five and ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees for everyone, and everything exceeded our expectations.

The food arrived surprisingly fast, and the portions were very generous. Every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully prepared, and everyone at the table genuinely loved what they ordered. The restaurant was also very accommodating of our dietary restrictions, which we greatly appreciated.

The prices were excellent for the quality and quantity of food you receive. Combined with the welcoming atmosphere, and easy parking, it made for a truly enjoyable dining experience.

A special thank you to our server, who was absolutely outstanding. He was kind, respectful, attentive, humorous, and genuinely caring throughout the entire meal. “This is a smaller-sized Thai restaurant tucked into the corner of Twin Oaks Plaza, along with a few other restaurants. It can be a little easy to miss, so hopefully this helps anyone who is having trouble finding it.

We have ordered takeout from here a few times, and every dish we’ve tried has been consistently good. A friend who dines here often originally recommended it to me, specifically for the quality of the food and the attentive service.

The last time I was here, I simply walked in because I happened to be in the area. I’m sure you can order online or call ahead as well.

Although the restaurant is on the smaller side, it is neat and well kept. The paintings on the walls and other decorative touches immediately give you that unmistakable Thai atmosphere. There is also a table with condiments available, which is especially convenient when picking up takeout.

The server at the front was very attentive, and I was able to place my order in about two minutes. She also gave me a helpful warning about the spice levels: their definition of “mild” is genuinely Thai, which means it may be closer to an American medium. If your spice tolerance is more like my young daughter’s, I would definitely go with “very mild” or “no spice.”

The food has a wonderfully strong herbal flavor, with very little grease, sugar, or cream. It tastes fresh and natural rather than overly heavy.

I definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys flavorful, authentic Thai food. My favorites are the green papaya salad, green curry, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ew. You can also customize the protein, and I usually go with shrimp or chicken.“
