“The curry is amazing. Hidden gem. Michelin guide MUST come here. Thai curries have been another symbol of the diverse food culture in LA and THIS place needs to be recognized for their food integrity and authenticity. “We arrived in the eveningtired after a whole day's travel. We received very good help and service - all portions are larger than usual and therefore easy to share. Nice clean and nice place. Can only get our warmest recommendations?????“
“In continuing our quest for the best Pad Thai in Ventura, we decided to try the newest Thai restaurant in the community. Bingo!!!! Finally, Thai Fire is the winner. The best Pad Thai we have had in a long time, maybe ever. Also great choices are their lettuce wrap appetizer and the dessert Banana Roti. We are in heaven. In addition, the owner is especially sweet and welcoming. We cannot wait to return.“
“Visited for my moms birthday and we had a great experience. Food was amazing we ordered pad thi, Tom yum soup, chicken fried rice and broccoli with beef. Everything was great although the broccoli and beef was a tat salty. I would definitely come back. I strongly recommend the Thai tea with boba !!! Literally the best Thai tea I’ve had ! 10/10“
“Tamarind Thai impressed me with its ability to customize traditional dishes, catering perfectly to specific dietary preferences.I ordered red curry, prepared without fish sauce, and retained its rich and aromatic essence, proving that authenticity can be maintained even with ingredient modifications. The basil fried rice, ordered without egg, was a flavorful companion to the curry, bursting with the fragrant essence of basil that elevated the dish. Overall, Tamarind Thai delivers a delightful culinary experience, showcasing their skill in crafting dishes that are both delicious and accommodating.“
“First time here always go to rice by mama 1 because bigger selection of alcohol anywho this place was on point as far as food very delicious as always mama never disappoint .service was kinda on slow side but the server was very pleasant and everyone had good up beat spirit so it made perfect setting thanks again“
“Finally a thai place in ventura county that has sticky rice and not that coconut sweet sticky rice either, which I'm pretty sure is great as well. Ordered the 'Ribeye crying tiger w/ sticky rice' & 'wonton soup'. I'm going to call that crying tiger sauce crack sauce from now on and definitely ordering a double with my ribeye next time and another order of sticky rice please! ????“
“What a great little hideaway. Quiet, off the beaten path, wonderful service and the Thai was great. I had the pad Thai with shrimp. We ordered egg rolls for the table very nice. The kid's has chicken skewers and loved them. The yellow curry was very good also. Try this place, you will love it.“
“Many of my friends have been raving about this place which also has another location fromVentura. Thus, I had to try it to see for myself how it is compared to other local Thai restaurants. I have to say that the dishes we ordered had its unique taste to it. We tasted that the dishes were a tad bit sweeter than the other restaurants. The Tom kha noodle soup was much more coconuty and thick in taste. It was delicious! We had also ordered the Pad Woon sen, pad see ew, and pad kee mao. All the dishes were delicious and filling. They had given a generous portion of food. It is located atThe corner of the center next to Cronies.Service was excellent. Ambiance was casual.“
“Location /Tucked in a plaza where there's plenty of parking. The place itself feels homey and transports you to Thailand with all of their decor. Most of the seatings are booths and small tables, so I'm not sure I would recommend parties more than 4-5. Food /We ordered the chicken satay, blue elephant chicken wings, yellow curry with chicken, and their beef with Thai sauce. All of the dishes were so goood and flavorful! I'm also happy the curry came with a bowl of rice because I know some Thai restaurants would charge you extra for that. The blue elephant wings were one of my favorites. It's stuffed ground chicken and glass noodles deep fried. Loved the crunchy exterior and the flavor in the wings with the dipping sauce. I will say the prices are a bit steep where most dishes costed $15+ so do come prepare spending a lot as it adds up (boooo inflation, why you gotta make everything so expensive). But this Thai restaurant tastes pretty authentic and I enjoyed all of my foods!! Service /Hands down one of the best customer service I've experienced for it being a casual sit down restaurant. The workers here are so attentive, friendly, and kindly suggest you tips on how to best eat your dishes for maximized flavor and enjoyment. I felt so welcome and enjoyed their presence. And it wasn't like they were hovering over my meals, just checking up on me enough to make sure I was having the best food tasting experience I would recommend this place for others and i will come back again when I win the lottery haha jk. I love supporting small businesses and this one is worth investing for.“
“Good lord their food is delicious. Our favorite bartender recommended Asiatique and said we had to try the bonchon wings. They were awesome. Also tried the drunken noodles, and the beef bulgogi. Amazing. Perfect spice (I would have liked a level 3 spice, but my better half asked for a level 1). Service was friendly and the place was clean enough to perform surgery.“
“My husband and I decided to try out this Thai restaurant for the first time, and wow, were we impressed! Without a doubt, this is the best Thai restaurant we’ve experienced in the area. The food was absolutely delicious, leaving us marking it as our new favorite spot. We're already making plans for our next visit! Not only was the food exceptional, but the customer service truly stood out. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch Thai cuisine and excellent service. Can't wait to come back!Vegetarian options: Many delicious vegetarian options throughout the menu“
“We had dinner at Lucky Thai in early March 2024. We had the pumpkin curry with chicken, drunken noodle with chicken, and the rib eye green curry. All 3 dishes were very flavorful, and served hot in good size portions. 4 of us shared three entrees, and it was plenty. The food was delicious, and five stars for perfectly cooked vegetables. The service was attentive, too. The dining area is not particularly inspiring, but it's fine. It's a great restaurant, and based on that one meal I think this might be the tastiest Thai food in Ventura. We'll be going back for sure.“
“New favorite Thai food restaurant! The Tom kha soup was awesome! Very nice staff, very clean & nicely decorated. Tons of gluten free options. Everything we ate was so good!!Vegetarian options: So many options!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options & celiac safe!“
“I really enjoy this Thai place a lot great food, & good prices ! I found this place to be much better than the bigger thai spot across the street ! The panang curry is wonderful! Nicely balanced flavors. I also loved the mango sticky rice ! The building doesn't have many signs outside, the entrance is right in between the cold stone & the liquor Mart, worth it to check it out and There's a Small food court type of area to eat inside at as well“
“Great food, great server. Atmosphere was okay because a server at the neighboring restaurant was complaining about other servers and F bombing every other word for at least an hour. Other than that, sitting on the porch area was relaxing. I highly recommend ordering the Pad Thai dish and the Special Yellow Curry bowl.“
“This place really shocked us with how great the food was. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious. You know it's a good Thai place when the spicy levels are actually spicy. We got the pad see ew, crispy duck, thai iced tea, and green curry. All of it was great. Highly recommend.“
