My daughter's meal came out first. I'm a critic when it comes to side beans. I can tell if they are homemade or not. These side beans were perfect. I could eat an entire plate of just beans. The presentation of the shrimp Aguachiles is picture worthy. The taste was nicely seasoned without being overpowering hot. My husband's beef soup was the perfect combination to dial down the heat. Word of caution: once the heat is gone, you will be craving for more. Looking forward to trying different options on the menu.”

Not too appetizing to see the previous guest's used plates and debris next door. The poor hostess had to get our table ready, not a good look to have your hostess removing dishes, wiping down the table and setting it.”

“This coffee shop is beyond cute and gives off a certain cozy vibe. I wish it had its own location vs in the train station as I don't feel safe going in there alone which is the only reason I'm giving them a 4 star review. Their gelato ice cream is very creamy and great! I love ordering the cafe de olla latte it's very flavorful. I also like the vanilla latte. The owner is there working all the time and overall everyone is very friendly.”

As for the rest I'm not 100% sure, but they do have tacos de papa with pork that I dont see why they couldn't make some without the meat to make it vegetarian and probably even vegan.Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: I did see kids there eating with their parents.Wheelchair accessibility: It's in s parking lot, they have tables. There is plenty of space, and can easily move around and move a chair to fit a wheelchair.”

“My daughter requested an owl cake for her birthday. Olivia was so nice when we tried to explain what my daughter wanted. I had to cancel an order once and move it another day, and she was so graceful about it. The cake was ready at the time set, and not only did she make the most adorable snowy owl cake, but it was also delicious and moist. The frosting was so light it almost felt like we were biting into clouds, and also with the right amount of sweetness. We will definitely order more cakes in the future ! Get to your reservation a little early and enjoy the surrounding historical buildings gathered from around Oxnard into a Heritage Center. Each property has a little description that is quite educational. Or, wait until you’ve enjoyed the great food for that after-dessert stroll. The food was amazing, from Mahi Salad to full steak dinner with excellent merlot. Same a few sips of that red wine to enjoy with their chocolate cake with raspberry, whipped cream & pecan topping. Whew. As you can witness with the photo, the servings are huge. (We took home another full meal - really.)”

Waited for my food order for 45 minutes after ordering but food was perfect.”

“When all else is closed, the truck tacos is where to go! Kind of rhymes lol Feel like everything closes too early these days. Luckily, we have the taco trucks working hard late at night. I pass by this taco truck at least a couple times a week and always have a long line. You can't miss it if you're ordering at night with their bright light show! Their food looked good in the pictures and I had to try'em. When I got my order, they did not disappoint! Exactly what I expected and it was made with the quickness! Chicken tacos were spot on and the azada fries were fresh and the fries were crispy! I was afraid to eat from these taco trucks but now that I've tasted it, definitely going back for more. They even pack on the food and the price is super reasonable. I highly recommended trying this place out especially when you got them last night cravings!”

Driven past hundreds of times but never stop. First impression was awesome. Great environment and atmosphere with the tavern. Everyone was cool and fun and very welcoming of me being there. Sammy the bartender was awesome. Very attentive to my drinks and everyone’s else’s drinks , knowledgeable on what he’s serving, and just a friendly attitude towards everyone there. Awesome local spot to get some great beers and wines. They have darts, a shuffle board table, and a digital jukebox to play your favorite tunes. I would definitely recommend the Beachcomber Tavern to anyone that is local, traveling through or the vacation rental people. I will definitely be back myself.”

We both wanted to try it after a few recommendations and the fact that I used to work in that building in the late 70s when it was a Sizzler Steak House Restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was awesome. We had appetizers as well as our meal and ended it with dessert. They all came out in a timely manner. I would go again!”

My husband ordered a carne asada burrito. We were both very happy with our selection. The season was perfect! This place seems to be a good spot for menudo. By the way corn tortillas are hand made. Oh ! What's a Memela ? It's a thick hand made tortilla with melted cheese and the sauce of your choice. Yes!!! An opened quesadilla! Between a quesadilla and a gordita ! “I'm from NYC and since transplanting to SoCal in 1980, I have only been to a handful of places that serve pizza that is passable as NY style and flavor of pizza. THIS is one of those places. The fact that the pizza is thin, baked in a flame oven, and uses crushed tomatoes instead of canned sauce make a huge difference in flavor!. The crust is bubbled from the fire oven baking, there are some crust part that are "burnt", but that all adds to the genuine flavor. They have a decent selection of toppings but I stuck with the Margherita pizza with its fresh basil and I don't regret it. They seem to have a great salad and antipasto selection, i did not try any, but i definitely will. My server Chris was very helpful with beer selection and lunch specials. I am for sure coming back with my wife and friends.Parking: There are a limited number of metered street spots, but the center in which this restaurant is located has plenty of parking.”

“Had 1 cabeza 2 lengua and 1 asada! All were hand made tortillas and the lady at the register and making the food were both so sweet. I got 1 torta de al pastor 1 quesadilla My kids asked for beans inside a hortcha large and my 4 tacos with plenty of salsa cebolla asada pepinos and rábanos(my favorite with tacos) it came out to $30 and will be coming back again soon”

Good grief.I like how the hot/spicy sauce comes on the side. I sometimes prefer my spicy dishes to be cooked with the spicy sauce, but speedy prep requires sauce on the side. It is a tradeoff. I used to not eat spicy food at all a few years ago, and I still appreciate the opportunity to control the spice level. This is no different than adding hot sauce to each bite of a burrito or tacos.I liked food containers. A blue-collar, workin’ man’s bar, Joe owned the place, Yvonne ran it .. bartenders were cool, drinks tasty and cheap, locals tight and friendly .. and this place just immediately felt like ‘Home.’ Over the years, we ate, drank, smoked, joked, sang and screwed our way thru some damn good times!! In 3 1/2 decades, regulars who became dear friends have come, gone .. many passing away. But does the heart good to know the same cool ‘locals vibe’ is alive and well .. and new generations are finding appreciation for what is still, the best kept secret in town. My respect… ??”

Cleanliness and sterilization are a high priority on my list and being my first tattoo I wanted the person to actually be good. Jbad checks all those boxes on top of being quick, he's totally chill ,and his calm voice definitely makes you feel comfortable. Can't wait to visit again and get the next one.”

“Help me write a review for kings and Queens CantinaI have been to Kings and Queens a few times typically just run in and grab a drink at the bar and then head back out. I’ve heard lots of really great amazing things about Kings and Queens and last night was the first time I went in and had a seat and actually ordered food. We were with a fairly large party of about 18 people and were in fairly early around 6 o’clock before it got too busy. Our waiter was very helpful and nice and took orders for everybody. However, he did not let us know that it was company policy that they wouldn’t be able to split the check up per group and that’s a little bit difficult for us as government workers we can’t have other people buying us food. In the end, he did eventually get our tickets all separated out so we didn’t have to leave. The table ordered a variety of different drinks and beers as well as food everything from burgers and chips and salsa to sushi and burritos. All of the food looked amazing and the drinks were really great, in previous experiences the staff in the service have always been helpful and exceptional. The ambience is very young, feeling with music videos, playing black lives, and neon signs graffiti type of artwork. There’s a large outdoor patio with lots of seating that I believe it’s going to be absolutely amazing during the summer and the windows do fold open all the way to let in a nice breeze once the weather heats back up. I am looking forward to coming back”
“This coffee shop is beyond cute and gives off a certain cozy vibe. I wish it had its own location vs in the train station as I don't feel safe going in there alone which is the only reason I'm giving them a 4 star review. Their gelato ice cream is very creamy and great! I love ordering the cafe de olla latte it's very flavorful. I also like the vanilla latte. The owner is there working all the time and overall everyone is very friendly.”

We had the pepperoni and it was delish. Don’t sleep on the salad. You can make it how you want and the veggies are fresh. I’d def recommend this place to friends. The prices were reasonable too.
