Gordos Hot Chicken serves amazing hot chicken, and many say it is the best hot chicken in the 805. The normal/hot spice level on the chicken is recommended, as the mild was under seasoned. The gordo sauce is to die for, and the home made gordo sauce on top just makes things 10 times better. The crispy chicken always pairs good with the delicious mac and cheese when ordering the Gordo Fries. The fries are nice and crispy and the seasoning is just bomb. The sliders are absolutely delicious with extra sauce, and the coleslaw in the sandwiches just goes super well. The Gordo Fries are delicious, with the perfect spice just to the point where it’s spicy but adds that extra flavor. Different combos can be chosen from, but the go to is the gordo fries with mac n cheese and chicken with fries, and the fries with the sauce are mouth watering. They tend to run out of mac and cheese fast, so going early around 6 or 7 is best, but the delicious Gordo Sauce always does justice. The atmosphere is great, the cashier is always nice and respectful, and the service is fast and friendly. The location is a bit difficult to find and right next to a large roadway, but the food is well worth it, with convenient parking. Customer service goes a long way, as they were willing to make up a “gift certificate” on the spot and added a free had on top of that. The place is also very nice and it’s a perfect location to get some chicken.
