“I never give reviews in general but this is absolutely my favorite taco truck I've ever been too. Everybody must try the cabeza and tripa tacos absolutely delicious!”
“2 weeks ago, I went to Somis Cafe, for lunch and had delicious steak burrito, and my wife ordered Chile Relleno to sample, which was like having it made in your kitchen at home., incredible, and delicious. The next 2 times, Chile Rellenos and Chile Colorado, orgasmic, to the taste buds, with a large Jamaica, excellent. As I'm now in NorCal, I, SO MISS, SOMIS Cafe and Market, and shout out to Dorothy, who took great care of us, making sure that we had everything that we ordered. I will be back, they are authentic and delicious. 5 Stars.”
“We had a great time throwing axes! The staff were all great, we didn't eat there, but we had wonderful drinks. We have been telling everyone how much fun we had. Thanks!”
“My wife is from Germany and her favorite food is Doner. She has been trying to find a place that serves Doner like they do in Germany and Twisted Meats is definitely the place to go. Delicious!!!! The guys that work there are also super friendly. Great ”
“Israel is very friendly. Food was hot, tasty and prices are outstanding for the portions. Macaroni and cheese delicious! Chocolate chip cookies love the chunks of chocolate. Will definitely be back.”
“Fresh, savory, delicious food served with grace and kindness - fabulous. The atmosphere is simply lovely. The House Combination meal was served steaming hot altogether. This is some of the best Indian cuisine I've had in this area. You must try it!”
“What a culinary experience! Chef shared various samples with us (garbanzo, garlic spread and chocolate spread). We ended up ordering the spicy garbanzo bowl, chickpea wrap and a large garlic spread. The food was amazing and I can't wait to come back to try the other items!”
“Quite liked this place! Our server Mauricio was very friendly and attentive. The food was quite good--we got the patatas braves, ceviche, and shrimp tacos. The broccoli soup could use some improvement--more depth of flavor and more broccoli, probably. The hot tea was nice, too--unexpectedly fancy with peeled ginger, strawberry, and mint. There aren't many tables so it's not noisy and easy to have a conversation.Looking forward to taking more people here!”
“This is my favorite restaurant in Santa Paula (and there are lots of good ones). I visit about three times a year and always drop by Rabalais. Great cajun/creole food. I recommend the breakfast shrimp and grits with a runny fried egg. The red beans and rice with anduille sausage is great. The placeHas a wonderful old-time feel like a bistro from the early 1900s. They have a full bar and great espresso and pastries too.”
“I ordered lobster tacos. The lobster meat is cooked perfectly, the cabbage gives it a crunch, and I like the spiciness from the chipotle aioli. This atmosphere reminds me of dining out in Mexico. Superb service. I recommended all to try this place.”
“My husband and I had an amazing experience at Latitude for our anniversary! To start, the food was fantastic. I ordered the Filet Mignon medium rare with potatoes au gratin and asparagus, and my husband ordered the Bistro Burger medium rare. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! My husband said it was the best burger he'd ever had. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and the STAR of the show was our waitress, Katie. She was quick and professional, but also attentive, so sweet, and overall just fantastic. Thank you so much, Katie and the rest of the staff and chef for an amazing anniversary dinner! We will definitely be back!”
“Every single time that I visit the Moorpark Denny's, it's a pleasant, great, wonderful, delicious, visit. The waiters and waitresses are the best of the best. Their smiling face and warm heartfelt greeting keep bringing me back. Which is alot of times during the week!!! I constantly see regulars there and that says ALOT!Thank you so much.Parking: It's a huge parking lot. Even if one has to park further away, it's not that far to walk.”
“We went in for their lunch special. It came with an appetizer, salad & wontons. I ordered the yellow curry (mild because I’m a wuss). It was absolutely delicious and exactly what I was looking for. My husband enjoyed his delicious meal, pepper garlic, as well. Highly recommend!”
“Takeout only restaurant. The jambalaya is fantastic and has brought me back multiple times. The sandwiches have amazing flavor but do seem to be very juicy (sometimes the bread is soaked through if you don't immediately eat the sandwich).”
“Great food. Fast service. Fun location. Warm and friendly staff. There is usually a line but it moves quickly. Love all the dogs and their owners around the outdoor seating.”
“Very good ? pizza options, all on a thin crust, and several pasta options. They also serve beer and wine, but they have no ice for sodas. Nice to have a good place to go for pizza that is somewhat unique from the standard places. Nice to have this in Moorpark's Target center. We will return.”
“I went to lunch here with my friend who recently went here for lunch and she absolutely loved it and wanted me to try it. OK. I love trying new places! The inside was super clean and had a good ambience. Our waitress was over-the-top great and was there to give recommendations and answer any questions we had. She also delivered our food in a very timely manner and made sure our drinks were always filled. My friend and I both had the lunch special of the Pad Thai with vegetables and their dumplings. The lunch special came with rice (brown or white, a spring roll and soup or salad) I chose the brown rice (very different than your typical brown rice) and the salad. The salad had a Thai peanut dressing on it and it was absolutely flavorful and delicious! The salad was very fresh and had carrot shavings, cucumber and tomato. The spring roll was very fresh and tasty especially when dipped in the orange colored sauce they serve the dish with. My friend had the white rice and Miso soup which she enjoyed. Now for the pad Thai.......I was expecting a typical Thai dish of pad Thai. This was not it. I didn't think it had much flavor, or at least what I am used to, and it wasn't spicy at all. I did ask for hot chili sauce which they had and delivered to us. It did help a bit but I wasn't a fan. The veggies were just ok. They did seem to be very fresh. My only comment was that I didn't enjoy the flavor of it. Now my friend...she absolutely LOVED it! She had the same exact dish as I did but obviously she has a different palate and/or taste in food. It just goes to show you how restaurant reviews vary with each person. We did both agree that the dumplings were great and flavorful. With that being said, I will most likely go back and try something different and give it another try. How can I not when the service was fabulous, the food was fresh and the restaurant was very clean.”
“You will not find a better Mediterranean restaurant in all of Ventura County!! Highly recommend!!Last August, my mother and I went to this incredibly friendly restaurant. They have so many options, and I was excited they have falafels. I ordered beef kofta and falafels, and tried both the saffron and spiced rice. Omgsh! One of the best meals of my life. The falafels were cooked to perfection, not too soft and not overly crispy. The beef kofta was tender and spiced well. The saffron rice was very good, however, the spiced rice is ? it is the most flavorful rice—you will ever have. I still remember both the sweet and savory notes. Which I loved. Not only is the food excellent, but the quality of the friendly environment is immediately felt. We were lucky enough to be served by the owner, Shamel. He made you feel like old friends. My mother and I so enjoyed talking with him and hearing about his passion for food and family.(Shamel, I am so very sorry for such an extraordinarily late review. I’m embarrassed it’s taken this long to share our amazing experience at your restaurant. But thank you for your hospitality! For sharing your food and about your beautiful family. You have a wonderful establishment and I hope to dine there again next time I’m in the area.)Vegetarian options: The falafel is superb!”
“My favorite Pho in the area! The broth has the perfect blend of spices and seasonings. The rich flavor is enhanced by the addition of shrimp which are large, tender and plentiful. Or, choose from a variety of beef or chicken, or just broth and noodles. I love the generous size served in authentic dish ware. Plus it is unlimited noodles! Who does that? These super nice people do! I also love the shrimp spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce, the lettuce and mint are tender and the sauce has a unique zing. In the mood for fries? Parmesan truffle fries here hit the spot. Shoestring thin, super hot, crispy on outside but a little tender inside and a liberal helping of shaved fresh Parmesan with the truffle oil and herbs on top. You will leave feeling satisfied I promise you.”
“The best Indian food I have had for sure! I’m not from the area but I will be coming back again when I’m around. The chicken masala was bomb. So was the cheese naan. Highly recommend.”
“Great Sunday with friends in Moorpark and decided to grab lunch here! We ordered a variety of dishes to share. I got the iced Thai tea. Dishes were ok not that was amazing really but not bad. Great customer service and cute decor! That's what makes it an overall 3.5 for me. Still a good place to grab a bite :)”
“We really enjoy Cedro because it feels like Italy. The food is authentic, scratch-made Italian. Like in most restaurants you'll find in Italy, their wines are chosen to compliment their food. Be sure you ask about the nightly specials. The staff is attentive and friendly. It's about you. The decor is comfortable but plain. Service is not rushed. Go there with others who like to converse. I hope you have a good evening!”
“My friend and I came here for the 1st time. We had heard many good things. This place did not disappoint. The food was very good. We really enjoyed each item we got. I recommended this establishment. Please note because of the shape of the building it can get quite loud inside.”
“This is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Tucked in the back of a car dealership makes for the perfect atmosphere. Our waitress Destiny was amazing. If I lived here I'd be here every week.”
“We had a girls day plan go to Moorpark and this was on top of of foodie list. I had been planning to go to Calioh for months. I invited my amigas to come with! I love their concept and what they stand for. I live in Oxnard but did not mind driving down for great coffee! That iced horchata latte was heavenly! The Latin pop that was playing , awesome. I love that they have touches of Mexico all over ! I am Mexican and I loved seeing their decor! The Mexican inspired drinks are awesome. I had been searching for a great horchata latte! Nayeli , JC ,Lucy had the best customer service. I just wish they were located closer so that I could visit more frequently!”
“Karma Indian Cuisine is one of our favorite restaurants of all time!Bobby, the owner, has become a friend over the years that we have gone to Karma for business lunches, family dinners, and take out dinners. Karma offers the best atmosphere and Indian food that we have ever been to.Take out meals are very generous and we tend to enjoy a great dinner and a generous lunch the next day out of each meal. The food tastes great and very filling. They are in the Jann's mall facing Moorpark road, right next to ALDI grocery store and Five Below.”
“If you want the best of small family Japanese restaurants, please do not go here. So good , the best of many. I always get the Blue fin Tuna, Always Happy. I go with my Sister and Brother in Law any chance we can get together and we have never had any problem, top Notch Family Sushi ! Don't go there, too crowded go away..... or not..Smooches....”
“Excellent beers with a focus on the locally neglected Irish, Scottish, and English styles. Stout lovers will always find something well worth drinking on offer, and will have cause to celebrate if Swannie is on tap. The brewer likes to experiment with new offerings, and manages to keep new beers interesting without feeling overly gimmicky. The wide selection of delicious lower alcohol session beers and the relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to sit and have a long talk or play a game with friends. Food trucks, live music, and events like trivia night are often on offer. The owner/operates are a pair of characters clearly doing what they love, and have put together the best local pub I've had the pleasure to visit regularly.”
“Great place, good beer, good food. The owners are pro active in trying to make this establishment the best it can be, very impressed with their ability to remember a face and name. My wife and I vowed to try to frequent this local establishment once a week if possible!”
“Definitely my new favorite go-to taco place near Camarillo! Don Taco is an awesome food truck that's technically in Somis and one of the few places that serves delicious late-night Mexican food (past 8 pm in the sleepy town of Camarillo, haha). The service was fast and friendly and prices were reasonable for a street taco (in this economy). There is a table and some stools next to the truck, but I typically take it to go.I was happy to see that they had many of the staple meats here like asada, pastor, pollo, chorizo, carnitas, and cabeza, and was even more surprised that they had birria and tripas! However, I wish they had lengua which is my absolute favorite! We ordered the asada, pastor, carnitas, and birria street tacos and they were all so delicious. The meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned so well. We also ordered the shrimp and asada taco and WOW that one was amazing. The flavors of this taco melded so well together and there was even an avocado slice! I love a good verde sauce and Don Taco's is up there. I've been on a quest and I'm so happy I found a great spot to fulfill my taco needs. Some of my favorite taco spots are in LA and Don Taco is definitely comparable.I'm coming back to try their burritos and Asada fries!*Hot tip: service is fast, but sometimes there's a line so you can call in your order for pick up!”
