Had a great meal and super hospitable environment. Jorge and Dorothy were very cool and really lovely people. Can’t recommend this place enough. You’re letting yourself down if you don’t get here.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and despite some changes the soul of Somis Market is alive and well. The food still slaps, and the atmosphere is welcoming and feels like home. Cactus coolers are still kept in the back on the left, and I still haven’t found better beef jerky after living in Texas for the past 6 years. Somis market was a must on my recent trip back to California, and it didn’t disappoint!
Fantastic spot, great food and kind service.
