“Para el dueño: Cual es su regla de regreso cuando se vende un producto que está echado a perder? El Viernes 10/21 compramos comida como muchas veces ya que somos clientes desde hace 4 años. Uno de los productos fue una jaiba imitación, la pedimos en la carnicería y no la dieron en una bolsa, al llegar a casa nos dimos cuenta que estaba echada a perder, no pensamos que fuera un problema, nunca nos había pasado y este producto no es de su tienda solo lo revenden. “Food is consistent and good, I love their shrimp taco salad and never had an issue. Portion size is generous. The taco shell is nice and crispy and nice flavor. Salsa bar is my favorite and the shack sauce is the best!

The service is good, they are attentive. We placed an online order and ordered 20oz horchata, we noticed it wasn’t filled all the way but we didn’t make much fuss to them but we just briefly commented amongst ourselves. Went we went out the door then one of the staff members chased us out to the parking lot and gave us a small cup of Horchata. They go above and beyond to satisfy you!! Keep up the good work! :)“

Great flavors, ch I ices and pther items at the self service bar. Especially the Habanero. Staff are welcoming and friendly which is a high point. “I have extremely high standards when it comes to customer service. I know that. I admit it. 🌮 I’ve worked across multiple industries, I used to audit businesses for a living, I’m from Chicago, and it is genuinely VERY rare for a business to impress me.

These people impressed me.

My situation was unusual, and there was an issue with my first experience. But what impressed me was how they handled it. There was no blame game, no defensiveness, no “us versus you” mentality. It was simply: Okay, here’s what happened. How do we work together and make this right?

THAT is customer service.

I genuinely feel like we’re losing that as a society. So many businesses have forgotten that customer service isn’t about never having a problem — it’s about what you do when there is one. Victor, Louise, and the people here GET IT.

They listened. They cared. They communicated. They worked with me. They treated me like an actual human being instead of a transaction.

And those little things matter. That old-school, community-business mentality of actually caring whether somebody walks away happy? They still have it.

I couldn’t even eat my food the first time around because of my particular situation, and now I’m literally on my way to pick it up again and I’m EXCITED. 🌮

I had immediate video evidence of what happened, and because of some logistical issues, we had to work out an unusual solution. This is not me advertising a loophole. “Cocina 1912 is such a great spot in Santa Paula! The food is always full of flavor and they have a really good variety of Mexican dishes. I especially love the chilaquiles, tacos, and burritos, and you can tell they put a lot of care into the food. The portions are generous, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it’s definitely one of those local spots that’s worth checking out when you’re in Santa Paula. “I was in your Palmdale, CA location. I am deaf and read lips. With masks, I obviously can't read lips. I asked the person behind the counter if he could write down what he was saying, after explaining my situation. He looked at me like I had just asked him to do something illegal. This is unacceptable. I asked to speak to the manager. I inquired about diversity training and she said Sharky's doesn't provide that. It seems that they also do not follow ADA rules either. Disabilities do not end at physical.“

I decided to leave this 5 star review because I ordered their horchata for the first time and they gave me a bendy straw(yes 5 star for that) but then i was even more blown away with the flavor not watered down or overly sweet live i’ve received from probably 95% of other mexican spots. Sara was my amazing server and her associates kept my coffee cup full and were quite attentive as well.
