This burrito is as big as my forearm! Absolutely delicious and exactly what you want how you want it. I've been all over the United States and when it comes to Mexican food, California outshines the rest. Come over, buy 1, buy 10! Once you get one you're realize this is the good stuff! Highly recommend and I'll be back anytime I'm in the area!“

“We were headed for Ojai this afternoon but a roadblock through the hills changed our plans. We checked out Santa Paula but nothing really stood out, so we headed towards Filmore and discovered Los Altos Mexican Restaurant - a hidden gem on Santa Clara Street. We really enjoyed our lunch with our patio seating and delicious food and margaritas. We highly recommend this restaurant and are glad our adventure led us to this terrific place!“

“Saw this place in the late spring when me & my wife were in town for a day trip but didn't eat here. So glad we came back. We were seated quickly and given chips & salsa. Our server was pleasant & welcoming. Next came the Mimosas and they were perfect. My wife & I both had the namesake Fiesta Plate which is taquitos (cut in half) wirh your choice of beef or chicken topped with chips & cheese quesadillas with salsa & quac in the middle. It was next level! Prices are really good also for the quality of the food. They're right in Fillmore's cool little downtown. Will definitely come back.“

“Awesome food I’ve tried the pollo and asada. He hooks it up with 3 different cups of salsa (which are definitely delicious), grilled onions and pepper some lemon and cucumber slices! You can get fries in your burrito too. The price for a burrito is not bad at all. Definitely recommend it!“

“Excellent red salsa chilaquiles (but ask for less spicy if you can’t handle too much heat). Wife and I had the same and we agree these are some of the best we’ve had—maybe 2d best to the ones my wife makes :) . Daughter had tacos —one al pastor and one chicken-also excellent. I knew the food was going to be good when they brought out (without requesting) house-made totopos and salsas (the red salsa has a nice smokiness to it). We had a nice Mexican dinner locally the preceding night, but this place is a level above.“

“Don’t sleep on this place. The food is delicious and the staff know what they’re doing. Even though I got a burrito for take away, without having to ask, they cut the burrito in half. While that is a small thing, it shows they care, put forth the effort, and go the extra step.“

“We have been ordering 805 since they were slanging tacos from the curb! So we already knew the quality we would be getting. This was our first time hiring them for catering. Per usually the quality didn't disappoint. Our server Jorvin was excellent. So sweet. Busted his butt in HOT weather and didn't skip a beat. (We tried to take care of him with shade/ice water and a fan.) He accommodated a couple of guests with dietary restrictions as well as hooked the kiddos up! Ironically our 3 year old, who's typically the shy kid who speaks to nobody, was Jorvin's BFF!! Kid spent more time at the table with Jorvin than anyone else! Also, kid was a BIG fan of the Jamaica!! “We had a real great lunch here. Our waitress, Dorthy, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the different dishes and made great suggestions on what to get! The store is also really good and the manager was also nice! We loved the Chicken Burrito and the beef hard tacos! We will definitely be back next time we come through town.“

“The crispy tacos are great. So is the carnitas. It is super quiet at lunch during the week, but busy on Sunday. The bar is a nice place to watch sports and eat, as well. I will say some days the beans seem homemade, but others like they came from a can. I really enjoy the place, though. Great iced tea“

“I didn’t expect much, but it was worth it. I went there for lunch, and the food was great. I ordered a supreme beef burrito—it was huge and really good. There was a bit of a lack of sauce, though. But overall, very delicious! The only thing is that the cashier didn’t understand much English when I tried to order, so she asked her friend to translate. No worries! Still a really nice place.“

“Legit street tacos. Authentic flavor for barbacoa, cabeza, and lengua tacos. I ordered the babacoa plate to go and the rice and beans tasted just like my mom makes. The barbacoa was savory, herb-y, and tender. They were selling these big avocados at the counter for only a dollar, I bought one and they offered to slice it up to add to the tacos I ordered to eat in. Warm and welcoming owners. Great food.

“Now this is a good taco place! Will absolutely bey go to place from now on. We tried a bunch of their tacos. Chicken, asada, carnitas, birria, and al pastor.

The pastor and carnitas were by far my favorite (always are) but this place didn't let me down. The asada was fantastic, I haven't had good asada in a while so that's definitely worth having. Birria was great, but we both thought the chicken was quite dry.

We got it to go and went to Enegren. The guys were super nice and the had the good ready super fast! And we ordered a ton.“

“I have never had a bad experience here. Both bartenders have been bartending since the 1980s, and make great drinks that never lack flavor or alcohol. Also, the pricing is right for the area. We have been to other bars in the area off of Los Angeles Ave and they were overpriced and drinks were water-downed trash. Jalisco is a chill local spot and people are personable there. A+“

“We drive from another neighboring town to have lunch or dinner here, we really enjoy it. Like everywhere else now in Calif they seem a bit understaffed but the manager always seems to be stepping in to fill the gap. The food is delicious and fresh and the prices have remained very fair. They make their own tortillas that are out of this world. I recommend it for a nice quiet lunch, couples dinner or date night.

“Some of the most authentic low cost Mexican food I've had. Don't be thrown off by the poor decor. It's a gem. Not only authentic, but uncostably delicious. I'm originally from Mexico, I love it. My Canadian girlfriend is crazy about it, she always asks me to pick up something for her when there's nothing to eat. Their Horchata is the best in the area. Their tortillas are home made. I'm always tempted to ask if I can buy tubs of their salsa. I love it, the Mexican community of SP loves it, every Anglo friend I've ever taken there has loved it.“

“Everything is fine, the detail is that it takes a little while to serve. The food has that homemade flavor, they sell Mexican and Salvadoran food. It is in a small town with very old buildings such as the train station. And how nice it is that everyone knows each other.

Parking: It is on a street where there are more shops, old ones that look like they are from the old West, and they park on the street.

“Louisa was our server. Very big party for a 10 year old. Adults and children. There was so much happening but Louisa was on it and everyone works together to make the best experience. Food was fantastic. The birthday boy was super happy and i can’t say enough good things about Louisa. So sweet and accommodation, knowledgeable and went out of her way to help us.
