“On a day trip to Ojai we followed the recommendation of some friends to get in line and order a bit of Mexican bliss. Totally worth it!The steak burrito was phenomenal, from the soft & fresh flour tortilla to the meat, rice, beans, guac, cheese, and salsa.Parking: Parking lot in the rear of the building, though it can get full fast. There’s also street parking nearby.“
“First of all, the people there are so nice !!! They got the food out so quick and it was so good ! My boyfriend and I CLEANED our plates like scraped them clean ! Ugh I'm still not over how bomb my carne asada plate with the grilled onions were ! My boyfriend said his wet burrito was great especially because the meat was so flavorful ! 10/10 going again“
“We were looking for a small and quick bite to eat...our go to Taco place was closed and after looking at the pricing at another Mexican restaurant in the downtown (expensive) we found La Fuente. Where tacos were a reasonable $2.50-$2.75 per taco! Simple and delicious. They have a self serve salad bar and the salsa roja was my favorite. It had great flavor. We ordered taquitos also but they weren't anything to die for. I don't think I would order those again. I would prefer more tacos! Also got a quesadilla and that was good. Your average quesadilla but with the salsas....delicious! It's not very glamorous inside but the food is good. There are also 2-3 small tables to sit outside near the parking. I would come back here.“
“Keep in mind when rating local businesses. Rate them against what's in the area, not against your Abuelitas cooking. I continue my search for the ultimate Chile Reno burrito, ordered at this location and it was good. Ordered carne asada tacos and burro's, all were satisfactory. Since this is my first taco shop in the area, I'll adjust based on the next location. But this place doesn't disappoint at all and the prices were extremely reasonable.“
“Absolutely stellar vegan options. They don't disclose it very obviously online, but they are able to substitute almost any ingredient with a vegan version. The tofu specifically was prepared a lot better than even some vegan-only places.“
“A warm environment because the place is run by a family, I believe. The salsa bar features all their homemade recipes. Nice variety on the menu. The tamales are super good. There are two kinds of veggie burritos: one that is your traditional beans and rice and cheese, etc. and the other one is vegetables, stirfried like fajita style, and then tossed in with beans and rice, vegan. Both great and under $10. High quality food.“
