I've been going here for years and find it provides Consistently good food, particularly their tamales. Staff is also courteous. Atmosphere is sparse and casual but very clean.
We were looking for a small and quick bite to eat...our go to Taco place was closed and after looking at the pricing at another Mexican restaurant in the downtown (expensive) we found La Fuente. Where tacos were a reasonable $2.50-$2.75 per taco! Simple and delicious. They have a self serve salad bar and the salsa roja was my favorite. It had great flavor. Parking: The parking is terrible! The lot is very unbalanced. Due to the parking situation, I either go early in the morning or close to closing.Kid-friendliness: It has a pretty basic setup. Table and chairs with two/three outdoor tables. I don't see why kids would be a problem here at all.
