“We were excited for comedy night and enjoyed the venue and most of the show. Unfortunately at the end of the night, the host, Jake Gallo, stopped doing comedy and launched into an extended political rant after seeing an Israeli flag at a nearby ranch. He repeatedly talked about Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, and genocide. It wasn’t a joke or a brief comment—it became an angry political monologue that completely changed the atmosphere. We came to laugh, not to be lectured about one of the world’s most divisive political issues. It made the room uncomfortable enough that we left. Ojai Beverage is a great place, and we’d gladly return, but we hope they keep future comedy nights focused on comedy rather than partisan political activism.“

“Great place to stop especially if you're riding on the Ojai Valley Trail since it's right near the end of the trail in Ojai. Far enough off the beaten track to be calm and quiet even on the busiest day in town but not so far out to be inconvenient. Good selection of beer and wine plus food trucks at various times. “Best Thai food in town. They’re located near several other Asian restaurants, but if you’re looking for authentic, fresh Thai cuisine, this is the place. The portions are generous and the prices are great, which is hard to find these days. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with plenty of parking right next door. My favorites are the green curry and the chicken satay, so good! Ordering for pickup is also super easy: just call ahead or place your order online.“

“Had a great experience at Little Sama Ojai. The food was fresh, colorful, and packed with flavor. Everything tasted high quality and thoughtfully prepared, especially the bowls with the pickled vegetables, tender meat, and perfectly balanced sauces. The tacos were also super unique and full of texture with the fresh slaw and toppings.

The outdoor seating area gives the place a really relaxed Ojai vibe, making it a great spot to sit down and enjoy lunch in the sun. You can tell they put a lot of care into both the presentation and flavors of every dish.

They were out of all sorts of food and beer, this really miffed the young ladies behind the counter who were then charged with telling every customer that. We grabbed the food pretty quick, all three orders were outstanding. The Jalapeño Bacon Smash burger was something I will be back for.

“Came here for an early dinner as part of a girls day out last minute. A hidden gem! The food and drinks were great, service was also great, but that might be because we were the only ones in the whole restaurant. I hope they can drum up more business, especially on a Saturday night. The interior ambience and decor needs a refresh and the hostess podium outside needs to be manned. The menu needs an update as well, this place has a lot of potential just needs to be marketed better. We would come again next time we're in town.“

“The food, service and ambience are superb at The Oak. I came with friends to celebrate a birthday and we had a great experience. We had a little hiccup but Juan our server made sure to go above and beyond to make the evening a success.
Sarah the manager also came by to check on us and confirmed our meal the Catch of the Day (I.e. the sea bass) salads, tortilla soup and drinks were good.
At the end of the night we all felt it was the best place to celebration our friend’s birthday.“

“I ordered for myself and one other person from the kiosk and my sister ordered from the person at the counter. She literally had hers before we finished ordering. OK, that's one thing, but ours took 13 minutes...basic combo orders as was hers. Not sure why.“
