“I always love a stay at the Ojai Valley Inn!! I usually come with my husband and kids. When we visit we love the kids pool, kids club, tennis courts, bike rental and driving range. Along with the fabulous restaurants where we can see them running around while we eat. All the rooms we’ve stayed in have always been large and amazing. This trip I brought my mom and sister for their birthdays. I booked it through American Express Fine Hotels. This gave us $70 towards breakfast everyday, $100 hotel credit, chocolates in the room, 4PM checkout and a room upgrade if available. When we arrived they said they were fully booked and could not offer a room upgrade. I have always been it great rooms and expected the basic room to be the same. Unfortunately it wasn’t. It was small, had a small balcony with only 2 chairs- there were three of us, and a view of dirt. I’m not one to complain but we were there to celebrate my mom’s and sister’s birthday so I asked if we could be moved to a room that could at least have room for all 3 of us in the balcony. They were able to find a room in Shangrila and it was great. Beautiful views of the surrounding hills and a huge balcony with loungers and a table with 4 chairs. Thank you to the manager that switched our room!!! We enjoyed all the amenities at the Inn. Delicious food at the Oak and great with gluten allergy. - the night hostess and front manager were rude but everything else wonderful. We used the fitness area and attended yoga and water Pilates which we loved. We went to the artist cottage and made succulents. Really enjoyed the artist cottage happy hour with a glass of wine and potpourri. Adult pool was super relaxing and service there was excellent. As with every time I leave there I can’t wait to go back. It is an amazing resort with excellent service.“
“I actually met Sam, the owner of the place!!! Normally, the Sams I've met, suck. I'm specifically referring to Uncle Sam. He's coming for my money and dignity! But that's another story... I went here for a drink and to hear the live music. I tried the "A league of its own," which included house infused apricot vodka, apricot, and lemon." Delicious. They also service food, which I didn't try, but they serve a vegetarian chili. I mean, I had Sam repeat that it was vegetarian twice just to understand. A vegetarian chili. When I come back, I'll try it! Great place! Fun atmosphere! Delicious drinks! Kitchen open until approximately 10pm and bar open until about 11pm. And live music every sat night! You will not be disappointed!!!“
“This place has great food and great service. They also make amazing shakes, malts and even a rootbeer float. Been here twice and expect to return lots more in the future.Parking: I come with a motorcycle club and so far, we've been able to park all of our bikes (12+) side by side.“
“I was at Zaidee's recently and I've been meaning to write a review. The food was excellent and sitting on the patio on a beautiful day felt like we were on vacation even though we are locals. I wanted to mention a wait staff in particular, I think his name is Caleb. He was very attentive and friendly, even took care of our needs when our wait person was busy. Just wanted to give a shout out to him and thanks for the delicious food and atmosphere.“

“Always can reliably come here and get good service with great food that is always healthy and delicious. I always order the Tireman Sandwich which is so good! And they have great Horchata Cold Brew that is made from locally roasted coffee which I always love! Highly recommend.“
“We loved the Oak room .. a bit chilly even with heaters .. the scallops were amazing .. they were so good we went back for a second visit ! The tres letches cake was interesting but not your traditional tres letche Which I was expecting.. so disappointed.“

For desert we had the amazing gluten free chocolate cake with fresh berries and cream. Beautiful outdoor and indoor dining serving brunch dinner and drinks. A must try when in Ojai.“
“They could only sell tater tots and they would still be the best place! Their menu is smaller but has just about anything to fit your craving. Everything has great seasoning and seems to have a gourmet flavor to it, despite being in a brewery. Again, the tots are a must! They have two great serving options for them, either a side, or you can get just tots! Since it's in the brewery, the ambiance is 10/10. Great spot to pick something up while People watching and drinking great beers!“
“Deer lodge is a must visit. The best part is the ambiance. Off the beaten path, it is a cozy lodge feel that allows for some relaxation and fun. Both indoor and outdoor seating is great. The bbq and tri tip nachos are the best items on the menu with everything else being pretty good. The service has been good the few times I have been there. Stick to the bbq on the menu and go for some relaxation, music, and beers. Very charming“
“Is this Ojai's best kept secret?! As I was walking my weekend route around Libbey Park, I ventured off and slipped into this local joint. At first glance it appears to be a high-end liquor store with thousands of bottles laid out nicely. Towards the back of the place I discovered a terrific bar/restaurant! To start, the ambiance of the place was very mellow and quiet, once you step in the back it's like being cut off from the retail portion and it was a surprisingly open space. It's almost the perfect combination for lunch time. The service was very helpful all around, from the man in the front who had liquor recommendations, to the staff in the back who assisted me in ordering a sandwich that is on my top 10 list! Now on to the food! I did not know what I was expecting but it is almost as if they took the best qualities of the counties American style cuisine and put them in their meals. I had the Cubano, the strawberry habanero wings, and the fiery choke which is their take on fried artichokes. For someone who eats vegetables like a 5 year old, I could get behind this. The seasoning alone took me aback, it was spicy but not too much with a hint of sweetness, but pairing it with their aioli was fantastic. The wings were unique but lacked a little bit of crispiness, definitely was not as spicy as I thought, yet had an overly sweet and tangy taste. Finally, the piece de resistance, the Cuban which made my top 10 list. It is not very common to taste every individual flavor in a sandwich but this one hit the every note. The braised pork was so tender and melted in your mouth which added a bit of tanginess to the honey cured ham sitting right underneath. Added with roasted garlic & Swiss, it enhanced the savoriness of the sandwich Also beer lovers, they have a lot of great beers on tap and in the cold box :) I will be coming back for more! (keep in mind parking is limited so take a walk and enjoy Ojai)“
