“This hidden jem will not disappoint. The food is on point and deliciously fresh and tantalizing! They have a menu that fits every type of eater, including vegetarian selections and healthy tidbits. For those who love to indulge, mouth waters glasses of ice-cold milk shakes dipped in chocolate await you, with leftovers in the container and a spoon! There are waffles with maple syrup, Hawaiian pineapple chicken sandwiches, Serrano peppers mixed in with scrambled eggs, and kids menu items that can feed two very hungry preschools from a single plate. I always have leftovers. And to top it off, the prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the huge portion sizes. When you pull up, you may notice that the lines may be long, but don't let that hijack your food craving. Stop the car and come on in! They have a fast system, and it works like clock work. I don't know if it's because they are located at the airport where people traditionally need fast service? “Eaten here several times for breakfast. I usually get some sort of omelet with pancakes on the side and it is always very good. Serving staff is great; a consistent good place for breakfast if you can’t make up your mind. Always a good comfort spot for a celebration for my wife or I or if we are going through a bad time like failing a job interview“

You want a veggie omelette 1st time, then 2nd serving you want meat omelette. Go for it. You eat it - you order it. It is not like a regular buffet where food is left. “Breakfast at Tony’s is so good! We had eggs Benedict with the home fried potatoes and the eggs Florentine with hash browns. Both were delicious. The Benedict sauce was so good with a hint of sweet, maybe from the ham ? The potatoes were so good and done perfectly with onions and peppers. A perfect combination. Eggs Florentine with hash browns didn’t disappoint either. Both meals were yummy. I highly recommend Tony’s .“

“What a wonderful find in Camarillo. Finney's has a positive upbeat ambiance and a very hearty menu of delicious selectables. Jenna the Assistant General Manager came by and welcomed us to assist our amazing server Danielle. Jenna took our drink order and we both decided on the guava margarita 🍹 which was fantastic. We both ordered the chicken bowl with rice, Pico corn, cucumber, avocado and nothing but quality ingredients. Danielle brought out the dishes and was very kind, attentive and professional. Jenna was also quite a wonderful person and very professional, kind and friendly. Kudos to the tag team approach! The food was fresh and tasty and we will certainly be back. A nice selection of craft beers 🍻 Highly recommended.“

“We visited Applebee's on a Friday evening as a family dinner of three people. We are vegetarian, and we had a surprisingly difficult time finding vegetarian options on their menu. We chose the two for $25 meal deal, where you can select from two entrees along with an appetizer or two side salads.

I chose the cheeseburger, but I substitute it the Patty with an impossible plant-based. Plant-based, Patty, and my wife chose the Asian chicken salad, and omitted the chicken. As a matter of fact, all the dinner salads contained chicken. She asked for a substitute protein, like black beans, and they came up with an option of adding a side of corn and black bean salsa to the salad, which worked out well.

We ordered my son an adult cheeseburger with the impossible patty replacement as well. His order came with a side of french fries, which were delicious . We omitted the red onion and tomato from his burger, as it would have been too difficult for him to eat..

For the appetizer, we ordered the tortilla chips with spinach and artichoke dip. The appetizer was delicious, with the chips being crispy and not too oily, and the spinach and artichoke dip being creamy and not too heavy.

My burger was very good, but the iceberg lettuce was a large clump that made the bun too unstable to hold, and the red onions were too plentiful and too thickly cut, thus overwhelming the flavors of the burger. I had to remove the onions and give them to my wife, who also did not include them in her salad because they were too overpowering.

My wife enjoyed her salad minus the chicken, and the portion size was good for dinner. We were charged $1.99 extra for the impossible patty replacements, which seemed excessive, since there were no vegetarian items available to us.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Applebee's, but we're disappointed with the lack of vegetarian options and the surcharges for the veggie burger patties“
