“We recently discovered the amazing Waypoint Cafe and had to share! From the warm welcome to the incredible food, this hidden gem has it all. The cafe can get busy, so arrive early (they close at 3 pm). Their carne asada omelette, tri-tip sandwich, and must-try lemon pancakes are simply delicious. Don't forget to try their refreshing mimosas too! We can't wait to go back for more unforgettable moments.“
“Great place for appetizers, happy hour, ambience, and good music. We saw Smokey and Friends play, they were so good I don't think I'd ever wanna come back unless they were playing. The service was a bit slow. And we had to keep flagging down our waitress. If you are looking for a big meal, don't. All the plates are pretty small. Other than their salad, they look large and amazing.“
“We moved to Camarillo a year ago and can't believe that it took us so long to find this place. And we can walk to it, so it feels like an extension of home. Good thing we can walk too, cuz the drinks are really generous. Food menu is limited but what they do do, they do well. And Matt (owner/bartender) doesn't mind if you bring in food when his kitchen closes (there's excellent pizza and Vietnamese in the same strip mall). Speaking of Matt, super friendly and personable, just don't be the sensitive type! And in regards to another review, the bar is not PC but it's also not conservative. Matt doesn't tolerate politics in his bar, which is a huge relief. Come here for fun and for people!“
“Always enjoyable Adolfo Grill!! We love the atmosphere and the food. The bar area is fun and lively. The dining area can be intimate or family fun. This evening, my boyfriend ordered the daily special Porterhouse, seasoned and cooked to perfection. We also had the popular fish and chips, grilled lemon chicken and the small plate of salmon skewers, which was actually a perfect dinner size. The service is always wonderful. It's a favorite spot for special occasions or dinner with friends.“
“I never mind paying for good food at a restaurant .. as long as the service is good too. Slate is a bit pricey to be honest, however the service makes it all worth it. I come here every other month, and always leave happy. Met the owner last time I was there .. this guy LOVES his business .. and it shows.“
“It's like being at your favorite tia's house! You feel at home having conversations sharing a joke and laugh all whole having a delicious meal. They start off by bringing a basket of mini muffins with a variety of flavors freshly baked and rotating so it's a surprise each visit. The energy is very old school there's no feeling of judgement it really brings back an old school Americana vibe I haven't seen in this country for a long time. I ordered up the NY steak and eggs with grilled onions on top and it was a nice sized steak seasoned well to the point that you didn't need steak sauce a welcome steak compared to many others I've had who have to hide the blandness behind sauces. The hashbrowns crispy exterior and flush interior with some tapatio and ketchup was perfect to pair with the steak. A great start to any day and a welcome vibe of OG America“
“Despite our last-minute decision to eat there, we were able to be seated right away, even though the whole house was packed! This staff is very friendly. Our server was on point and very helpful and the food was absolutely fabulous and I will definitely be back there ASAP.“
“This was my first visit and I'm happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised! I can understand the name, "Hidden Cafe". Our car GPS was even off by one street; I think this was the fault of poor phone reception on my part. This little gem of a restaurant was well worth the visit. The food was fantastic, with many choices to try on future visits. I'm my opinion the food was priced just right, no prices seemed out of line. The servers were very attentive and the refills on drinks and extra napkins were quick to arrive at our table. There is inside seating and patio seating. Space heaters too for chilly days. It's easy off and on the 101 freeway at the Camarillo Springs exit. I ordered chili Verde omelet with flour tortillas and O'brian (sp?) potatoes. Fresh salsa on request. So tasty ?“
“It feels very warm and comfortable inside and being able to enjoy the pizza with wings is a must experience, especially pasta selections. NY Pizza makes me feel back at home.Vegetarian options: Cheese pizzas, pastas, salads.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available.Parking: Parking space is not large, but availableKid-friendliness: Family friendly for everyone of all ages in my experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Able to accommodate according to needs“
“I always enjoy going here for their Walbury Salad. The service is fantastic, I'm always greeted with a hug once I walk in the door. I love the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant. I personally feel like "Cheers", where everybody knows your name.“
“Sheila's is THE epitome of fine dining in Camarillo! ? Celebrated my Compadres' anniversary there, and it was top-notch. Impeccable service, mouthwatering appetizers, and a dinner that left us in awe. Absolutely, we'll be back for more! ?“
“Came here for a lunch meeting. The cook was on a catering job so we couldn't order from the full lunch menu. That was ok. Another cook stepped up after being off work to make us delicious tacos. Bar tender made sure we were happy the whole time. I can't wait to come back. Thanks so much.??“
“My husband and I had an amazing experience at Latitude for our anniversary! To start, the food was fantastic. I ordered the Filet Mignon medium rare with potatoes au gratin and asparagus, and my husband ordered the Bistro Burger medium rare. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! My husband said it was the best burger he'd ever had. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and the STAR of the show was our waitress, Katie. She was quick and professional, but also attentive, so sweet, and overall just fantastic. Thank you so much, Katie and the rest of the staff and chef for an amazing anniversary dinner! We will definitely be back!“
