“REALLY good food! I could eat their bread dipped in balsamic every single day! I knocked a few stars off because when we order take out, we've had items missing and it's frustrating. The white cranberry cookie is so good! My favorite is the lemon cookie but I haven't seen it on the menu in a while.“

“I went to Tavern Tomoko/Ladyface Brewery with my family, and we had a blast! My wife loves the Ahi Poki, and I loved the beer selection; my son loved the french fries and the pretzel bites. Our server, Kristin, was so nice, friendly and charming! She was so attendant to our every need; we love this place and will continue to patronize it. Thanks to everyone at Tavern Tomoko/ Ladyface!“
“Stopped in while traveling to watch our Vancouver Canucks unfortunately get beaten by LA Kings. Service was fantastic from our two servers to the bartender who gave us three different IPAs to taste first so that we ended up with the perfect one.Food was great value as well.Highly recommend!“
“Stopped in on a very busy Sunday. The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful or efficient. They made an incredible team that kept the restaurant working on an elite level. My waitress, Yadira, was above and beyond. Her hustle with a smile can only be equaled by her competence. It was nice to see a team work like this in such a busy high pressure environment. Kudos to all of them.“
“We had a great experience!Caesar is an amazing waiter, anticipated our needs before we needed them, extra glass of ice WITH the tea!!!! Sauces, extra napkins it was a pleasure to feel served and we appreciated it! I will totally be back and will ask for Caesar!Food was cooked nicely, served hot, tasty and delicious!! ?“
“I’m out of town and came here with our lacrosse team for the second time. They are always so accommodating and helpful, the food comes out so quickly and the food is always killer. Shout out to Nelly, Kirsten, and Manny for amazing service! They also have great options for people who have gluten or dairy allergies. As someone who is gluten free, I feel like I have so many options to choose from and I’m not settling!“
“We came to Malibu with a larger group for my sister’s bachelorette. We booked at Taverna Tonys because we heard about the good vibes, belly dancing, and live music on the weekend. Let’s just say this place did not disappoint!Great food, fantastic service, fun Greek wine & the best vibes! We danced the night away. The staff seemed to be having just as much fun as we were, which is always great to see. Overall amazing experience from the first interactions with the hostess, to the great drinks at the bar, the wildly impressive backservers carrying our huge trays of plates and the fun server! Thanks again. We will be back!“
“My family absolutely loved this place. They made us feel like family and very comfortable. We will be back when we’re in town. Phil created something special. The menu was unique and the wine was paired perfectly. Can’t wait to come back.“
“Perhaps the best culinary experience in our area. The food is absolutely fantastic from the appetizers to the main dish and the desserts, everything exquisite. As for your appetizer I highly suggest the brussel sprouts, main dish on this evening I had the cork dork Burger which was phenomenal but several at my table enjoyed the duck which was spectacular and included wild rice. The desserts were wonderful and large enough to share. A wide assortment of wines from very affordable to high-end champagnes and after dinner wines/drinks. Put this one on your list, it is absolutely spectacular.Lastly, the staff was extremely attentive and therefore the service was excellent. Chef Danny came out and greeted us to make sure that we were enjoying our experience and displayed a great passion for his craft as well as his restaurant!“
“Can a restaurant truly receive 5 stars? YES.Team Moody Rooster is a dialed in restaurant. All staffers smile, hustle and aim to please. The kitchen is an incredible process to watch - and the food is to die for! The atmosphere is fun, chatty and delicious drinks and foods.“
“I actually booked the wrong date, but the staff was very understanding and let me reschedule. It rained the day of my hike but I think that made it even more fun. The ranch is gorgeous! The employees are so nice. I arrived an hour early so Marissa let me sit with her inside so I wouldn't have to sit out in the cold. Our tour guide was Steffani, she was very knowledgeable and extremely funny. I can't wait to go back!“
“Every single time that I visit the Moorpark Denny's, it's a pleasant, great, wonderful, delicious, visit. The waiters and waitresses are the best of the best. Their smiling face and warm heartfelt greeting keep bringing me back. Which is alot of times during the week!!! I constantly see regulars there and that says ALOT!Thank you so much.Parking: It's a huge parking lot. Even if one has to park further away, it's not that far to walk.“
“Sadly there are such few great restaurants in the Valley and Westlake areas but the one standout is Pearl District. We have been coming here for years and the food and service has always been consistently outstanding! The owner, Peyman is so warm and friendly, like he’s welcoming us to his home. There are many nearby restaurants that one goes to for the scene and then there is the Pearl District where you go to dine and dine well. Our only problem is wanting to order everything because it is that great!“
“I’ve worked in the Thousand Oaks area for over 20 years and have gone to many different restaurants during those years. This one stands out as one of the very best in terms of service, freshness of menu selections, ability to have a conversation without overwhelming loud music and noise, and ambience. The menu selection is varied so there’s something for everyone. Boroka and Jorge have created something truly special with their gem of a restaurant. I rate it as my favorite.“
“APPRECIATION for the STAFF, the professionals that took my order and prepared my food. YOU GUYS ROCK! Tonight was crazy busy with several youth sports teams parents and usual patrons. It was …BUSY, but my take out order was correct, fresh, and timely! All with a smile. Thank you for your hard work!“
“My friend and I came here for the 1st time. We had heard many good things. This place did not disappoint. The food was very good. We really enjoyed each item we got. I recommended this establishment. Please note because of the shape of the building it can get quite loud inside.“
“Great food and great service.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options.Dietary restrictions: I had a lot of modifications and they were more than accommodating.Parking: Easy and a lot of parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids are very welcome. Great place to take the kids after a game.“
“FOR SERIOUS PITA EATERS ONLY!Hard to explain the savory experience I just had. These guys are doubling down on quality. The price doesn't make any sense for the amazing food you are getting. But love the price of course!! This place is a Mediterranean pearl in the middle of West Lake. You guys need to come and taste.“
“V's restaurant in Malibu is a hidden gem boasting a vibrant ambiance. Their menu offers a wide variety of options, and the appetizers are particularly delightful, showcasing the chef's culinary expertise. It's a must-visit spot for those seeking a flavorful dining experience in Malibu. The hospitality of the staff further enhances the overall dining experience, making guests feel welcomed and well taken care of.“
“Duke's Malibu offers a captivating blend of coastal charm and exquisite cuisine. With stunning ocean views, fresh seafood dishes, and friendly service, it's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Malibu. It does have limited food options for dinner. That's why four stars.“
“Came in for brunch with my family and it was really great! My sister has celiacs so she can’t have gluten and our server Marco was incredible! He spent time at our table explaining the options and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. I had the French toast and breakfast potatoes and it was all very flavorful and delicious! Would definitely recommend stopping by for a great meal! ?“
“Loved being able to order ahead online! It was hot and ready at the correct time! Staff wasn't overly friendly but food was good! I'm not used to lettuce and tomato on my breakfast sandwich but it was ok. I loved the carnitas breakfast burrito!“
“Oh my goodness, I just discovered one of Simi Valley's most incredible hidden gems! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with welcoming smiles and a friendly demeanor. We had the option to sit indoors or outdoors, and we chose to dine indoors. Let me tell you, the atmosphere was so chill and refreshing, with lush green plants hanging from the ceiling - it was truly a sight to behold. As soon as we were seated, our lovely waitress brought us water and took our orders. We decided to go with the prime rib sliders, which were hands down the best sliders we've ever had, along with some mouth-watering garlic fries, refreshing black cherry vodka, and a crisp green IPA to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Before we knew it, our drinks and food arrived, and wow, were we blown away! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the drinks were served ice cold. I can honestly say that we will be returning to this spot time and time again, and I highly recommend that you do too! Make sure to come by and experience the amazing vibes and drinks for yourself. Can't wait to see you there!“
“A beautiful view accompanied by a delicious coffee. I recommend visiting Malibu Farm Pier Cafe when visiting the pier. and its surroundings, but I recommend visiting it during times of low attendance, I do not recommend Saturdays and Sundays at noon, because long lines are generated and the place is not appreciated. Furthermore, I recommend going with time to spend a few minutes and enjoy the view and sea air.“
“Fantastic food with a wide variety of drinks and dishes available. Excellent service, cheerful, fast, insightful regarding the menu. Menu. Eclectic inside, with a clear sense of humor on the part of the decorators and or owners.Parking: If you approach on Cochran, go up the alleyway adjacent to the buildings on the west side. That takes you "up a floor", to a large free parking lot. The entrance is off this parking lot.“
“I LOVE fatburger. This place is a real community institution. Keeps me out of the pool halls and of the street. Big burger. Big fat burger. Yes! Come here, but only late at night, please! I am writing this from the restaurant and crying into my beer because i understand i will never be able to marry Neha. It saddens me, but i am full now.“
“Excellent food, I had the smash burger, my friend the blackened salmon. It was a fun and really loud crowd. No problem getting seated. The staff was very professional and no pressure.Parking: Valet fills up quickly at busy times. I was so full they had to close it before I arrived. Very little street parking at busy times, and the area looks a little suspect.“
“I've been here twice now and I must say I am very pleased. The first time I got one of their pastas I got the rigatoni and spicy vodka sauce and it was a creamy delight but just the right amount. I went again for my moms birthday Friday night and ordered the Parmesan crusted halibut and it was perfectly cooked, moist, well seasoned, and cleverly balanced with the amount of parmesan on the crust of the fish. Their wine list is wonderful too providing excellent reds/whites/roses from highly rated regions so the pairings with the food helps balance out the flavors nicely. Very happy with both experiences and would highly recommend this place!“
“From the moment I walked in I was impressed with this quaint little Bistro. Great atmosphere, great service and INCREDIBLE food. Best wedge salad I've ever had. I had the Filet with mushroom sauce which was exceptional, tender and seasoned to perfection. The mushroom risotto was AMAZING! I also sampled the Blackened fillet with pepper corn sauce and the ribeye with mushroom wine sauce. Hands down the best food and service in Simi Valley and their prices are very reasonable. Beto's is located on Sycamore...You will love it!!“
“I was so excited to try this new location in my hometown. As soon as I walked in, I saw the big country harvest sign with very welcoming corridor. The restaurant is nicely decorated to fit the theme of fall. We were offered to sit inside or outside, which i liked. I was seated and someone quickly took our drink order. Then, The nice waitress took our order and we waited. Before you know it, our food had arrived. When I decided to try this place out, I didn't have high hopes, but I was presently surprised. The food was tasty, and the orange juice was good. There was nothing too special about the food we got, but can't wait to go back to try other options.“
“First time here, the people are nice food was delicious. Second time, the gentleman taking my order was super nice, i would highly reccomened for nice, friendly service with delicious food! My boyfriend loves the wild west burger, i enjoy the rock and roll burger doubled.Update: March 2024Food is still so delicious! Staff was super friendly and the place felt really clean. Spent under $20 for a dinner for two, plan on going back sooner than later.“
“Updatex3: patio lunch is still the best around. Love and dream about the falafel bowl.Update x2: still love this place. Went for the beer dinner and was not disappointed.Update: I guess they are very pet friendly now because someone brought their pet bird to dine on the patio last night. It sat on the table and ate off a plate.Lazy Dog is our go-to for great food and vibe. We try to get something new each time and we are never disappointed. I will wait a good half hour for the patio because the music and atmosphere is amazing. The servers are always accommodating and quick. This place is always busy!“
“Great food even though I came too early for pizza. The oven needs to be heated to the right temperature and Lorena was great and wanted me to have a great first impression which I appreciated. Sandwiches and salad are really good. Will definitely be back for some pizza“
“The Conejo Valley is limited when it comes to fine dining. If you've been looking for a higher end dining experience, a place to celebrate a special occasion, or a romantic date spot, this restaurant won't disappoint. I don't want to give away spoilers, but this place is an experience where details and quality are exceptional.“
“We ate dinner in the bar side and it's a nice vibe, lots of folks relaxed and enjoying their meals. Pastrami burger was excellent, cooked just as asked, juicy, great combo of flavors. We also decided to grab some muffins in the morning and wow we're they great, blueberry and chocolate chip, both super tasty.“
“We had excellent service. The chicken & waffle sliders (3) are so flavorful and tender. I would definitely get them again after initially feeling that they wouldn't be my favorite appetizer. We always get bacon deviled eggs (5) for their simple goodness. Slider cheeseburgers (3) are another solid appetizer. We would have gotten the buffalo cauliflower except we had someone with us who doesn't like blue cheese. I was disappointed with the carnitas nachos thinking that was going to be my favorite appetizer, but they were just okay. The loaded tots were in a similar bucket where we all wanted to love them based on the description, but in the end, probably wouldn't get them again. They have such an extensive food menu that we will be trying even more next time. My biggest complaint about the atmosphere is the cramped layout and only having 1 bathroom for each gender where the sinks are located inside the restroom creating a backlog. I hope they can expand one day!“
“Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options like the non-meat burger, lots of salads, wraps, and breakfast fare. However, not much on the menu is fully vegan as there's dairy in most things.Parking: Lots of parking in the lot attached to the shopping center, with handicap parking right across from the diner (though be careful getting across to the entrance if you park in that area, as you have to cross one of the driveways into the lot which feeds directly from the busy main street). For a little more safety, it's best to park right beside the diner with an unobstructed walk to the building.Kid-friendliness: Welcoming family atmosphere, and the menu has a lot of kid-friendly options.Wheelchair accessibility: Entryway is a little narrow, but freestanding tables in addition to the booths make it easier for those in wheelchairs to be comfortable. The diner itself is accessible from the parking lot by a low curbside, and single-person bathrooms are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair.“
“Ordered 2 breakfast burritos to go.Was told the food would be ready in 25 minutes, arrived a little early, and food was waiting for me.Service was great, cashier added salsa and utensils without me having to ask.Burrito was hot (temperature), delicious, and hefty. The ingredients were a bit segregated in each bite. For example, one bite was all potatoes, and one bite was all egg, cheese, or sausage. I ended up cutting mine up and eating it like a Burrito bowl instead. Maybe mixing the ingredients in a bowl before rolling the Burrito would resolve this. I'm glad they gave the salsa, it was much needed.Atmosphere is a basic cafe environment. Not a large restaurant, but they were willing to set up additional tables outside to accommodate people who were waiting.“
“Delicious meal served on Hawaiian buns! I tried the pineapple express dogs and the cowboy dogs; Song had the hardest slider. Nice that there are plant-based options, the menu is easy to understand, and the cuisine was excellent. I'm glad to give this place a five star rating!“
“Came here with my brother a few weeks ago. Great atmosphere. You basically have to Valet ( I drive a Tesla Model 3 2023 with limo tints and a 270 mile range) and so it was nothing but a breeze. Look the food was good, the atmosphere was great. The weather was sexy. The trees were beautiful. Let's get down to the real reason I'm leaving this review. I'm Pre-Med and it's tough. If there are any physicians reading this (MD, but DO is okay too!) LET ME SHADOW PLEASE. Also, any professors doing research right now in the vicinity, I would love to do research with you. Let's be honest, I'm going to skim through your current research, pretend like I know what in the world it's talking about, email you some generic response, and hope you give me a position. Let's cut to the chase. I'm smart, I have a 3.97 GPA, but beyond that I work hard. Feel free to reach out. Cheers!“
“We've been here a few times and havent been disappointed. It gives a cozy classic diner feel and helpful staff. The corned beef Reuben is my favorite. Thinly sliced, tender and not fatty at all. If you want an eggs n things vibe without the stomach ache then definitely come here. Perfect hidden gem.“
“Hand down the best ice cream in the Conejo Valley! The owner is on top of everything and is there most every day. Today we ordered an Ice Cream Cake and it was so much better than 31 Flavors. The ingredients are all top notch and natural. Quality like this is not cheap, but what you get is a fair value for what you purchase. Please go see them for an amazing experience.“
“I've been going here on and off since they opened. At first it seemed hit or miss, but in the past year or so, the food has really improved from "standard sports bar food" to my favorite versions of some items. They have amazing onion rings and potato skins. I usually get their grilled cheese (not as good as The Hat, but still) or their bleu cheese burger. That, paired with their reasonably priced variety of beers and friendly service, makes for a positive dining experience. It's worth noting that we've dined with groups of 8 and we were seated quickly and had no decrease in service or food quality. The Dugout has definitely become a staple in our rotation.“
“My go to place in Moorpark to listen to quality live music and enjoy flavorful creations. I can always count on Lucky Fools to make a perfect black and tan. The poke nachos are addicting! Lucky Fools has a great menu setting the bar really high for pub food.“
“We had my son’s birthday dinner here. It was our first visit and had reserved seating outside (which had amazing ocean views) but it was a little too chilly for my parents. It was so great that they were able to move us inside (party of 8) with no wait! Food was amazing! Service was great! They even gave us a complimentary birthday dessert! Espresso martini was soooo good! I had the miso glazed cod dish which was SO yummy!!! Food portions were great too! The sunset was so pretty! Would definitely be back again!Parking: Valet parking was easy but not free. Might have been $10 or $15…“
“Great breakfast! Someone suggested this place online in a group, so I decided to check it out. Went on a Sunday morning. If you go on a Sunday, prepare to wait. People were standing outside waiting! I was by myself, so opted to eat at the breakfast bar. I had my food within 10 min!! I decided on the "Joey's Tortilla chip Scramble " It's pretty much Chiliqillas without the sauce and crisper tortillas, which is why I ordered. So good!!! I asked for sauce on the side and poured it on. Yum. Will be coming back!“
“We love Little Calf. I always get their veggie burger because it's that consistently good. You cannot go wrong with getting a scoop of ice cream for dessert here. They also came in clutch on pi day with having hand pies and ice cream mud pies!“
“Wait staff is great, got us seated in under 5 mins & got all our orders in very quick. We ordered the mussles & were surprised by just how much we were given. The pork sliders were also great. Definitely a spot worth coming back to?“
“Gorgeous old-timey property with a great walk-up window restaurant during the day & dine-in at night. Multiple pretty outdoor self-seating options. There's an espresso bar and a wine shop as well. Lovely and relaxingVegetarian options: The portobello mushroom and the potatoes are amazing“
