“Bright refreshing cool drinks“

“I attended a private wedding today at the Inn of the Seventh Ray. The celebration included a bar and live music as part of the ceremony. I won't comment on the food (which was a wonderful catered buffet menu), but the venue and atmosphere were absolutely delightful. The reception area was separated from the main restaurant, and was outside alongside a gently flowing stream which was a perfect setting for a celebration. The location is perfect for a smaller occasion (there were 8 tables seating 8 at each table), and it was the perfect setting for a party or event for about 60 to 80 people.
I will definitely return to try the restaurant's own menu in the near future!“

“My wife and I had a wonderful meal at Tar & Roses last night! Every dish was perfectly executed and our server, Katie, could not have done a better job! The receptionist squeezed us in, with a cancelation just before we called and gave us a terrific table. We were greeted warmly. The wine list had a good selection of wines by the glass and just the wines I needed to pair with my dishes. We can highly recommend the oxtail dumplings, octopus skewers, balsamic glazed short ribs,
Singapore crab cake, fried cauliflower with lavender honey, roasted brussels sprouts, cheesy whipped potatoes, the mushrooms and white beans and especially the strawberry crostata with vanilla ice cream for dessert! The vibe was good and my only disappointment was that we couldn't eat the entire menu in one sitting:-)“

“We had such a fantastic time at the Great White Cafe! The atmosphere was great, and the food was even better. My burger was absolutely tremendous - juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. “This is a hidden gem just off PCH. We absolutely love Country Kitchen!!! Best breakfast burrito in LA in my opinion. The potatoes are seasoned perfectly, the ratio of egg/cheese/potato is perfect and their salsa is delicious! There is parking and some tables outside, great to pick up to-go. We drive from Venice to Country Kitchen almost every weekend to get these.“

Only callout to management. You have a great vibe with awesome staff. Upgrade your menu for customers who want more for dinner, than what everyone else on Main St serves: burgers, tacos, fried options. Your food quality & presentation is great, just don’t be content with “bar food”. You are sandwiched between multiple bars, sushi & Mexican food and nowhere on the street is there a nice, casual mid priced venue. You can do better on the menu & also add some more premium wines by the glass. The neighborhood will appreciate it.“

“I had a wonderful stay at Malibu Beach Inn! The hotel facilities were truly exceptional. The location right on the beach is absolutely stunning, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. The rooms themselves are elegantly decorated and extremely comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of the stay was meeting Realda. She was the most gracious host and her attention to detail was incredible. She kindly upgraded our room as it was my sisters birthday, we had a cake in the room along with a sweet birthday card. She packed up a bag of towels and freshly baked cookies we could enjoy on the beach. She was amazing! Malibu Beach Inn exceeded my expectations in every way, providing a luxurious and unforgettable beachfront experience. “The best place for an incredible night out in LA!

As soon as we parked the smell of the outdoor grill hit us. We knew we were in for something special.

We were sat immediately with a reservation, and had the best service. Mike was our waiter and was everything you want in a server and more. He was present but not overly so, he knew his wines well, and was clearly very passionate about the food. He’s service absolutely made our night!

The food was the only thing that overshadowed Mike’s excellence, every bite was divine.

We shared the hummus toast, zucchini, Japanese, sweet potato, Shishito peppers. And for mains enjoyed a chicken skewer, lamb chops, and ribeye.

The lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly, being my best bite of the night, but the chicken skewer won the hearts of the larger group.

We finished off with their chocolate cake which was perfectly gooey in the center.

There is so much more I would come back for. The atmosphere was just spectacular! Beautiful outdoor seating area, suitable for larger groups or small tables. Good music and great vibes.

All in all I’m just upset that I didn’t come try this place sooner. Definitely going to be a staple of mine moving forward.

“I ordered online. My food was ready when I went to pick it up. The staff was nice. I enjoyed my breakfast burrito. It was huge and yummy. It took me two days to finish it. My significant other didn't enjoy his as much. I did have a problem with finding this establishment. Because when I ordered the BAB burritos (the name of the breakfast burrito) I thought that was the name of the place too.🤭 So I was shocked to find out it was the hot dog place.
I noticed it was a shared parking lot. Just a bit confusing.“

“We needed a place to eat dinner late on Friday night and found Henri's. They were closing in 15 minutes but gladly allowed us to sit and order. We didn't want to make it hard for them so we just ordered breakfast for dinner and it was delicious! We are picky in our bacon and hashbrowns and want them cooked very crispy. They were the best we ever had! The next day we came back for breakfast for real and pretty much ordered the same thing. Unfortunately it must have been a different cook. Although it was good and plentiful it was not cooked as nicely as the night before. Definitely NOT a deal breaker cause Henri's is really very good and the staff is exceptionall - both visits. We could tell it is a local favorite and that is always a good sign.“

“I came with my mom my son and step dad and we loved it! We got the marathon combo and we doubled up of course! And we also got the OG combo and doubled up on that too! I added some bbq wings and some spicy wings and onion rings. Everything was on point! The staff was friendly and the wagyu burgers are some of the best the city has to offer! I love Nip and the Marathon brand! This is my new favorite restaurant!“

“This place feels seedy from the outside and dated and unwelcoming when you step in. Don’t let that fool or stop you. Once you’re in and seated you realize most everyone is a regular, and the staff is warm and welcoming. And the food is seriously stellar. I had the Bullet (their original recipe since 1954), my girlfriend the Huevos Rancheros. You can taste the time and care that goes into making everything from scratch. I don’t usually go places more than once but look forward to becoming a regular here and trying more on the menu.“

“The bar at the Valley Inn is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in LA. Yes, it’s tiny but get there early, secure your seat and you’re in for a ride of the greatest cocktails served up by a ladies and gentlemen’s gentleman - the maker with the shaker, Bill. Seriously, make a friend of this guy and then introduce him and the bar to your favorite people - only your favorite people! The food in the restaurant is great but a tad expensive but the bar will become your new happy place. Bravo“

“Good vibes and good drinks“

“I stayed at this hotel—and ate at this restaurant—a few years ago, so when I received an email about their Thanksgiving menu, I decided to give it another try since I wasn’t in the mood to cook this year. Honestly, it turned out to be a really nice surprise.

My wife and daughters ordered the Thanksgiving menu and everything was excellent—the turkey was juicy, the stuffing was great, and the whole plate was very well done. I ordered a steak, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great as well. Service overall was friendly and attentive.

The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of something small but noticeable: I ordered a bottle of wine, and although the server checked on us several times, he never helped with pouring the wine. I don’t think he ignored it on purpose; it just felt like he didn’t know the proper service for bottle wine. He was very polite, though—just needs a bit more training.

Other than that, we had a great Thanksgiving dinner and would definitely return.“

Add in a mound of feeeexins (iykyk) and you’ll eat for days. Apparently they’re opening a permanent spot in North Hollywood soon. I’ll be there.“
