“You get your money worth! I NEVER PIT REVIEWS BUT QHEN I SAW ALL THE NASTY COMMENTS I HAD TO STEP IN.They DO NOT serve raw chicken here lol I just order from here through postmates and I ha e to say I was impressed! Sandwich was huge on Texas toast and the chicken was seasons perfectly, I got the spicy. Fries were on point but I could have used more seasoning on the fries. All in all I definitely recommend this spot if you been to daves or Hawaiian hot chicken the you will be impressed but trying this spot. Similar price ranges and more bang for your buck, or should I say cluck ?K I'm done your welcome! ??“

“So happy to find this Italian vegan gem!! Gorgeous ambience/decor - really gives a feeling of classy minimalist spaciousness! Delicious GF options and best of all the menu is completely vegan!! And I can’t believe they even had TWO GF desserts! ? Our beautiful waitress was amazing, and knew the menu incredibly well (that’s so important to me!) and I wish we’d gotten her name! (She had an extensive gorgeous tattoo along one arm and bilateral ear spaces (? sorry that’s the best description I can give!?)“

“Our server was helpful in deciding what we should order. Started with delicious arancini. We ordered cauliflower steak w/ a wonderful sauce underneath. Also got schwarma encased in homemade pita. Followed by donut holes that came to the table piping hot. We will be back!“

“Where do I start with how much I love this place? As a photographer it's a joy and a delight to be here but even without the fact that I've worked there many times... The food the decor, the staff.. if you get a chance to meet Eden Alpert you're lucky. Always kind.... And you'll notice that she's probably having the best time of anyone. The music and the performers are top-notch. It's not uncommon to see some of the top names in jazz.. however don't be surprised if you see Seth MacFarlane doing songs from Sinatra or an Amy Winehouse tribute. Sound mix is even and the perfect volume. Highly recommend the Caesar salad with a plate sized parmesan crisp and the mini ahi tuna tacos and save room for the hot chocolate cake. Food is top of the line and jazz club is elegant and upscale. Can't wait to eat and shoot pics there again soon.“

“Amazing museum restaurant. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations, but the food and service exceeded my expectations. The squash pasta has a Nerano style feel with pumpkin flowers on top. The tuna carpaccio was good with crispy garlic fries, but it was too salty. But I enjoyed it so much. I Will visit again.“

“My wife and I came by here for a family get together and had a blast. The food was absolutely delicious. We love sides and had the Mac & cheese, collard greens and my favorite, the black eyed peas and rice aka The Rolling Johns. The owners really make the place special, and we were fortunate enough to have a quick conversation with one of the owners Chef. You can feel the love in the food and the building. Hands down the best soul food I’ve had in Los Angeles.“

“My wife and I had a wonderful time dining here for brunch. Make sure to make reservation because they do get busy especially if you want a good view. The place has valet parking or you can park on the street which does fill up quick. We got seated at a nice corner table with a nice view of the mountain. I got the Burger on 27 with fries and my wife got their Clam Chowder. I asked for a coke for my drink which came out to be the bottle coke and my wife got their Chai Latte. I thought the burger was alright and my wife said the chowder was good. She really loved the Chai Latte though so I asked for one to go for her. The service here was good and you basically pay for the view here. We will try to come back next time when the opportunity present itself.Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options hereParking: You can pay for the valet or do the street parking on Topanga Canyon.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible.“

“Didn't want to be stuck in traffic for over 2.5 hrs to get home, so I decided to come here and grab a drink, watch some games, and let the traffic die down. They have minimal parking on the street but a large parking lot to the back. I was the first one here for at least an hour, which was really nice. They got televisions all over the place. So no matter where you sit, you get a good view of the game. They got some upbeat music playing loudly over the speakers. Some real head bangers!! Got me tapping my foot and bobbing my head!! It's somewhat dark, but well lit with all the neon signs and tvs. The booths were also really comfy. The waitress I had was amazing. Super nice. Checked on me frequently, since I was the only one there for a while. Very conversational. Great at small talk, so thanks. Knew the menu well. They have daily happy hours of beers, some food. And being a Tuesday, it was taco Tuesday!!!! Tacos were $2.50 each. I ordered one of each and they came out early quick. Feels like the ones you get right off the streets of LA (in a good way). Lots of protein. Packed with toppings. Double tortillas. More sauce on the side. They were all really good!! I had a couple of their beers. Had one on tap, an IPA, as well as another one in a bottle. Vibes here are really cool. It was nice just to sit back, kind of put my feet up and chill. Everyone was super nice. Upon request they can turn on the volume of any of the games. Unfortunately, someone requested the soccer game to be played on blast. Which killed the music. But I had been there a good 1.5 hrs by then, and I guess that was my cue to leave. And it only took an hr and 10 min to get home, mission accomplished!!“

“I was in a part of town I rarely visit & played "Yelp roulette". I rust type in "highest rated" in current location & see what looks interesting. I'm glad I found CF Food Kitchen. It's a fairly nondescript restaurant with a simple interior in the corner of a small pod mall. It was "Wellington Wednesday". Other items looked great, but I've never had beef Wellington, so I figured, "Why not???". It comes as a three course meal plus warm, perfectly crusty bread. I picked lobster bisque which was very rich, creamy and lobster-forward even without many (any?) lobster bits. I took the desert to-go. The key lime pie was solid. The Wellington was good, not great. The pastry was kind of doughy & the mushroom duxelles was fairly flavorless. Luckily the beef loin and Demi glacé were excellent. Also the dollop of whipped mash was great with the Demi glacé and a few small veggies. The roasted gold beet was small, but the star of the veggies. The server was amazing: warm, welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. I hope I'm back in the area to try other items. They definitely focus more on the food than the ambiance, though.“

“MY FAVORITE LA BAR!!! My review is loooong overdue as I've been coming here for years. I've moved further South on Ventura but I still manage to come to what I feel is my home in bar form. I'm a woman who loves mixology and good bartending and most bars are extremely male centric. TLP is great for women and men. It wouldn't surprise me that many women love this bar. You will hear everyone mention "the feel" of the bar and it's because they seem to consistently hire AMAZING BAR AND WAIT STAFF. Kudos to management for keeping such excellent consistency. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME..I come to the bar I sit at the bar and get an INCREDIBLE convo from the bartenders. They always serve me the most fantastic drinks and make me feel like a FUGGIN QUEEN. I love them so much for this. They manage people well and that's hard to come by. Even if I've had a bad day they seem to always say the thing that lifts my spirits -- it's wild. Therapy in a bar almost. lol Keep up the good work guys! See you again soon.“

“The food was excellent and the coffee, which can be hit or miss at any given restaurant, was fresh and a good medium to dark roast. There isn't anything special about the building or decor, but I actually liked that it wasn't gimmicky. The tables are all 4-seaters but can be moved to accommodate larger parties - ours was a group of 6 and we didn't have to wait to be seated despite it being a somewhat busy Saturday morning. The wait staff was fast and not too chatty, which I liked, but they also didn't check on us at all so we did have to flag someone down whenever we needed refills. I would absolutely eat there again.Parking: The parking lot was full so we had to park on the street. There are multiple other businesses sharing the same parking lot, so that was a contributing factor.“

“Relaxed, hippish urban vibe, healthier but hearty dinner plates. By far the best part was our barista/server Vanessa, she had knowledge suggestions to make about the cuisine and was personable, friendly, fast and efficient. My only complaint is that the mashed potatoes were 86’d, I guess I will have to come back again to try them!“

“Ike's has the best vegetarian subs around! Well, from what I've tried anyway. Few months back I tried their Freddy Krueger sandwich (not vegetarian) on their dutch crunch and it was great. The dutch crunch is delicious. I also tried their James and the giant peach recently and it'll be my go-to anytime I visit for sure! All the ingredients come together perfectly and the vegan fried chicken is good too! Their sandwiches come with a candy (caramel apple lollipops) and as someone with a sweet tooth, I love it. Service was good and my sandwich came out in a timely manner. It's a great place to grab a bite after running errands in the plaza.“

“Super delicious Omakase experience! I'd definitely like to go back on a week night for a few rolls. We did a double date here the other night and there was a mixup with our order and we waited a long time but they made it right. I definitely recommend the Omakase experience! My favorite was the nigiri and sashimi. Super fresh and all the details on top of the fish were delicious. Creamy caviar at one point ! This place is in a busy area, so parking is hard, get there early! I appreciate the upscale vibe in the midst of a lot of restaurants, its stands apart!“

“I've been here twice now and I must say I am very pleased. The first time I got one of their pastas I got the rigatoni and spicy vodka sauce and it was a creamy delight but just the right amount. I went again for my moms birthday Friday night and ordered the Parmesan crusted halibut and it was perfectly cooked, moist, well seasoned, and cleverly balanced with the amount of parmesan on the crust of the fish. Their wine list is wonderful too providing excellent reds/whites/roses from highly rated regions so the pairings with the food helps balance out the flavors nicely. Very happy with both experiences and would highly recommend this place!“

“The Stand is our favorite go to place. Fun for the family, great food, fun atmosphere, and a great selection of beer & wine. The Havarti and Mushroom Burger is divine as is the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. We normally get the fries well done as they are then crispy on the outside and perfectly textured on the inside! “We hadn't eaten a beef burger for a long long time as we've been avoiding meats other than fish. Yet, we thought it would be nice to have a good burger now and then.Nikkie was terrific! A great listener, knew the menu perfectly, exceptionally aware and alert about her customers and colleagues in general. When our fries were a bit undercooked by our standards, she explained they were as designed but that she'd order another order that would be crispier. We offered to pay for them, but she insisted that we don't. Truly unexpected.I think our only observation is that we thought the burger (which i sm certain is weighed) was just a bit small for the size bun they've chosen. Otherwise, flavor, consistency, cooked properly to medium well was flawless. Thanks for the wonderful experience. All five star, even atmosphere, simple because they do the best for what they set out to do...they are not competing for a Michelin star.“

“An institution with the best brisket in town.Small funky lil shack on Sepulveda you'd drive right by if you didn't already know it was there and were specifically looking for it.They have a lovely well appointed dimly lit dining room and the waitresses are nice and make effort to be charming in that comforting way restaurant staff used to be back in the day.But I'm going to assume most, like me, phone and simply pick up their order to take out.Mostly I assume to also like me maintain some sense of self respect. What with all the hungry sounds of your indulgence of the savory tastings feeding deliciously eating licking your fingers smacking your lips and what not... it's just embarrassing, shamelessly undignified... Nobody needs to see that ツViel Spaß!Christon ツParking: Since is a very small place there is parking albeit limited“

“I visited the Bel Air Hotel for my birthday on Saturday, and I must say that our server, Juan, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. Providing fantastic menu recommendations, he was incredibly hospitable. Our orders included Huevos Rancheros, a pastry basket, and French press coffee, all of which were delightful. Juan surprised us with a dessert, crème brûlée. It's a must have from their dessert menu! I have to say the seasonal spice muffin from the pastry basket was my favorite. If you're seeking fine dining and an incredible ambiance, I highly recommend the Bel Air Hotel. I'll surely return. Thank you, Juan, for your outstanding service!“

“Although the portion size was small, the food was incredibly delicious. We ordered a hamburger and a sausage, but our food was served in the same containers that had previously held beef burger and sausage. Despite the tasty food, the atmosphere with the lingering smell of beef and the reused containers wasn't personally appealing. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for vegetarians and vegans.Vegetarian options: Kind of sandwich like burger“

“I've been coming here since it opened, the sandwiches and salads have always been delicious. I especially really love the turkey club sandwich. I wish more people had Annies personality, this would be a better place for all of us.“
“The bad: They ask what side you want but don't tell you it's an extra charge. That was a little upsetting. They made it sound like the sandwich came with a side. The place was super good! “This is one of my favorite San Fernando Valley hidden treasures... inside the Winnetka Bowl/Best Western Inn... you will find a cozy little diner. The food - I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I leave super happy. For me, the French toast is the BEST I've ever had, can't be beat. It's not dry, but it's not soggy either. I've had their healthy dishes--egg whites with veggies, so good... burgers are amazing. The staff are all on top of it, checking in, topping your drink off...food is turned around fast... love it.“
