“Been twice now. I have almost 2 decades experience in the bar industry. It's food was limited but pretty good, which is why I went back. The drinks are on the pricey side. Experienced 1 good bartender, a guy. Another decent bartender, female. 1 bartender I would just walk out if they were working, a female. Neither time was busy or anything really there to bring people in, n art class one night. NFL football another night, and the football game was on only 1 a small TV in the corner away from the bar. This bar has much more potential, but it's ok. There's a lot I would do different.“

“I love having breakfast here on the weekends. If you get up early and go by 8:30am it's self seating. After 10am you will most likely have to wait to eat.

Food is always hot and fresh. Have never had an issue with anything I order. I have had their avocado toast, Huevos rancheros, Mary's special among other things. All are delicious and let's not forget the onion rings!!

Parking is available on the street or on the lot right behind the restaurant. Which you do have to feed the meter.

They have a vending machine for scratchers. My family and I always buy some and cash them before we leave. If you're in the area, stop on by for a bite! The service is good and so is the food.“

“After many visits over the years, this was the best ever! The oxtail dumplings are to die for, as was the peach & tomato salad. Duck breast was as good as any- perfectly cooked. I only order crostata’s when in LA as nobody else can make them this good. Maybe wasn’t quite as great as their old sister restaurant, Santa Monica Yacht Club, but was close. Also have to mention the service, we remembered our waiter from years ago as he was also outstanding.“

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of the stay was meeting Realda. She was the most gracious host and her attention to detail was incredible. She kindly upgraded our room as it was my sisters birthday, we had a cake in the room along with a sweet birthday card. She packed up a bag of towels and freshly baked cookies we could enjoy on the beach. She was amazing! Malibu Beach Inn exceeded my expectations in every way, providing a luxurious and unforgettable beachfront experience. “Quaint atmosphere, decent pricing, attentive staff, and of course, great view. There are nearby parking options that are pay to park. Consider going early or be aware that you may have to park and walk just a little bit. also consider attire as outside the floor is sand so it’s a great option to have some thing you can take off so you can feel the sand between your toes.
BUT…People watching platform is on point.
Now for the food…I had the Huevos Rancheros, which unfortunately I do not have a picture of because I inhaled it. It came out hot delivered straight from the kitchen. it had a crunch, a kick and nice creamy sauce along with a whole lot of flavor. I did however capture a glimpse of my slightly watered-down Bloody Mary, which is not how it came, but was because I was not as attentive to it as the staff was of me. My waiter “Eric” did an excellent job attending to multiple tables with a smile on his face- Great attitude.
A variety of foods that would meet most pallets from breakfast to lunch and dinner. Great stop to take it all in. ??????

The poke bowl was so colorful and beautiful and the avocado toast was tasty and plentiful. Would eat here again when I'm in town.“
