“My husband and I had a great dining experience at Pom Grill in Tarzana. Amazingly delicious and fresh Persian cuisine. Personal favorites were the melt in your mouth boneless chicken kabob and the grilled beef koobideh. The barberry saffron rice was fluffy and delicious, the yogurt cucumber dip was incredible and the hummus was probably the best I’ve ever had. Great service, beautiful restaurant with comfortable seating and surroundings.“

“Our Friend Vahe took us this week for a Tapas Treat to this gem on Ventura Blvd. They have been serving the valley with excellent Tapas for 20+ years. We went all the way - tried and shared most of the small tapas - croquetas, mushroom, shrimp, patatas and all the little baguette delicacies - and had a really good time. They have live music - a wonderful guitar player - on some days. If you like Spanish guitar worth checking out his dates in the place. If you care for Tapas - this is the right place.“

“I used to come here often and decided to try it again. I was definitely ordering a Philly cheesesteak. They have 3 different cheese option but I went with the yellow cheese. It used to be serviced on a larger roll but this time it was more like a skinny baguette. They were also light on the cheese. Still gave them 4 stars since the meat was tasty, bread was fresh and service was quick.“

I got my order to go, barbecue pork fried rice and sweet and pungent shrimp.

The portion size on the barbecue pork fried rice is really good, really large. The rice was cooked perfect, the flavor is definitely there. I would get this dish again.

The sweet and pungent shrimp was okay I suppose. Way too much sugary sauce if you ask me. Also, they do use smaller size shrimp then some other places in the area. I do like the fact that they do include broccoli with the order. I believe the amount/quantity of Shrimp portion size is just a tad smaller than what I would have liked. I'm not sure if I would order this dish again though. Maybe the experience is a little bit better in person. Please keep in mind, this was a to-go order that I got.

Parking is plentiful, even though it's on Reseda and Ventura Boulevard basically. There is a free parking lot that you can park in. If you come for lunch during the week, it's definitely busy, so be prepared to park maybe a little bit further away than you'd like to.

Overall, for takeout, this place was pretty good. I have to try this place in person another time when I have more time. But all in all, I would definitely give it another try.“

“I just found my favorite pizza spot. I ordered the Triple Pepperoni Magnifico Medium pizza and it was so good. I was craving a good Pizza with a salty, garlic butter crust. Crunchy yet soft, and the combination of the old world pepperoni, my itch was scratched. I haven't had their pizza before and heard really good things. I'm so glad I ordered from here. I ordered delivery through grubhub. It arrived earlier than expected and it was nice and hot. I can't express how delicious this pizza is. Spoiler alert, do not order this pizza if you are watching your carb intake, because 2 slices turned into 5 slices (I could not resist)... going on a walk now.... 😉“

“This is the only Zankou place i will go back to, i have been to all of them around LA. But this one has my favorite person and that makes the service and the food even the place the best experience, othe paces the costumer service lacks and they're very rude, i have seen a bit of a change though i think they got a new manager or something and it's starting to kill the vibes, food hasn't changed thankfully but i will only go when Elvia is there, she knows my order and remembers my allergy, and she has the best attitude whenever she greets me.
I appreciate that because after a hard day of work her beautiful demeanor is what i look forward to, some of the other people there are very serious with the costumers but i go mainly for the food.
Definetly a place i like to take my friends to and i don't know what it is about this place and it's Hummus, but it's the best!!!!
It's also an excellent place to take kids, they asked to go back too! And they are picky so they definitely get our stamp of aproval.“
