“Amazing place, amazing food, and amazing customers service!! The braised pork was absolutely delicious for such an affordable price and their portions are certainly worth it. I only ordered the rice as my base and braised pork on the side, it was nicely cooked, tender and the quail eggs were top quality. Highly recommend Tigawok and definitely coming back for more!!!“

“My friend took me here for my bday and the service (I wish I could remember my server's name, but he was a tall young brunette man it was on 10/18 early afternoon...anyway he was the best!! I wasn't too hungry as I had a big breakfast with my BF, but my friend loved the lettuce wraps (I have had them before, and they are my favorite) and she also had the shrimp.and said it was excellent. You can't go wrong with PF Changs, and this particular location is my new favorite, as I like the look of it. I had a drink and dessert was on the house for my bday, which was a very nice touch (not many restaurants do thay anymore), but the waiter was so cool and I loved the sparkler surprise they bring out with the dessert (git the souffle and it was bomb)
This little gesture (and the exceptional service by the waiter) made my bday extra special!!“

“This review is primarily for the staff present last night Sunday 10/20 - I was feeling like I was about to pass out after ordering at my seat, I told the wait staff I needed to step outside to get some air. After sitting out front for a while, I felt pretty certain I couldn’t go back inside to eat and needed to go home. I told them my situation and continued to sit outside, and they brought me water, Coca Cola and my food and gave it to me on the house and told me to feel better. The sweetest people, made me tear up. I’m looking forward to coming back and eating a full meal at my table when I feel better. Thank you Dan Modern Chinese!!“

“I came here for lunch. They have ‘lunch portion’ items in the menu, which were pretty decent deal. The Dungeness crab fried rice is ??I tried the XLB dumpling, pork and Dungeness crab. The crab was slightly scaly. The dumpling can use a little bit more flavor. I did not feel I tasted as much of the crab. Otherwise it wan’t bad.I also tried the ox tail noodle soup. It was a bit bland. I was not too impressed with this item. Maybe the spicy version can be better one..Still not bad for ordering 3 items my bill comes out to $32 before tip. Pretty good.“

“Good authentic Chinese food.
We had green beans with minced pork, kung pao chicken, fish filet in black bean sauce, and shrimp with lobster sauce. They are all very good and tasty. A little on the salty side, but still delicious with a "strong character" ;-)
Atmosphere is very casual. The typical Chinese restaurant!
Service is good“

“Ping Pong Chinese Cuisine is an absolute gem! Every visit is a delightful experience. The food is always fresh and bursting with flavor. Their Signature Crispy Duck is a must-try—perfectly cooked with a crispy skin and tender, juicy meat inside. The Chef’s special beef steak is another standout, cooked to perfection with a rich, savory sauce that complements the tender beef so well. I also highly recommend trying their steam fish w/ scallions and ginger for an extra treat.
The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a family dinner or a casual meal with friends. The service is always top-notch; the staff is friendly, attentive, and eager to make sure you have a great dining experience.
If you’re in the mood for authentic and delicious Chinese food, Ping Pong Chinese Cuisine should be at the top of your list!“

“Food was good. Service from Devon was above Outstanding. We dined in the day after Thanksgiving, 2024. The peach ginger hot tea was great, especially on a cold night. The sauces on appetizers were Excellent! Loved the Key Lime pie; creamy, light, not too sweet, delicious! The entrees were good--Budah Delight was a little overcooked and seasoning a bit lacking.“

“Well this one was a pleasant surprise. Smallish place, dark walls, some free parking in a busy area with a bunch of other eating places. Not being in SGV, didn't expect much. Ordered the half Peking duck, chicken chow fun, and beef with snow peas. The duck came out first, and our server did a great job of carving the duck at our table. I've heard that the table side carving is done, but had never experienced it. The duck was amazing! The skin was crisp, not the crispiest that I've had, but very good. Most pieces had skin and meat. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful. It was served with bao buns, scallions, cilantro and hoisin sauce. The rest of the duck was chopped up in the kitchen and brought back to our table in a dish. The chicken chow fun was tasty, the chicken very tender, and the noodles cooked perfectly. The beef was also super tender, tasty, and the snow peas were cooked just right. What a great meal! Not a cheap meal. The three items were about $90 plus tip, but to get such quality in the Westwood area--priceless.“

“2024.10
The customer service was very good! The server was kind, polite, and had a wonderful smile.
However, the taste of the food is extremely ordinary? and there is nothing wrong with it...
It tastes like home cooking in a good way.
The rice flour noodles and chili oil on the table were very delicious.“

“Food was delicious as always. Tip-order your sweet and sour chicken or pork with the sauce on the side so it's not soggy when you eat. Steamed fish with ginger and onion is so flavorful. Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce is wonderful, the stems are a nice size, not too big. BBQ pork chow mein could use a little more bak choy and BBQ pork for the price. Hot and sour soup was yummy like always. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere even though it was just a pickup. Valet was nice letting me park myself with no charge.“

“It is a simple environment, but don't let it fool you. That is one of the best Chinese (Hong Kong style) restaurants in theLos Angeles area. That is amazing how good is the food there. Not expensive and not gentrified. The way it should be! Highly recommend the Won Tong soup. The menu is very descriptive with accurate images of each plate. Love the way you mark your selections in the menu and they bring everything to your table. The waiter is very nice and helpful. Highly recommend.“

“Saw this place on IG a while ago, but subconsciously just scrolled through the post not remembering the name. I just happened to stumble upon it while getting my car serviced, and realized it was the place when I saw they were serving people fat portions of food.
Hyped I found the place. Great price, portions. Can easily feed 2-3 people. Quality is what you would get from a fast food Chinese place which is also great.“

“Yo, they be giving out them PORTIONS!!!! You could literally feed the people of one of their serving sizes. Just massive! And the process are low! I see why they stay busy! The restaurant itself is fairly bare. You can sit, but tables are severely limited. Very bare bones, but maybe cuz they put all the money into the food! Not mad at that. And they speak Spanish, so they know how to serve the area they're in!“

“I found this place on Yelp. I've past by it many times, but it really doesn't have curb appeal inviting you to stop. However, the food is excellent! And the portions are generous. We had four different items, all very good, Especially the fried rice. It was nicely seasoned, and packed full of veggies, fried egg, etc. That's usually not the case at most places.“

“The servers are straightforward and fast. The food is always stuffed into the to-go containers. I pay $21 for two people for white rice, chow mein and two sides (usually double orange chicken). The store is small and parking is some times hard. Orange chicken is so good with the hot sauce they give.“
