“Amazing food. Never tried anything like that before. Fresh, unique, great presentation.”
“Sushi Spot is by far the most exquisite and fresh sushi I’ve ever had. It’s what I miss the most about living in California and going there will be my highest priority when I visit. It’s absolutely that amazing! 🙏”
“It was our first time at Mona's Kitchen and we are so coming back. Incredible quality and selection of food. Friendly service, affordable. 5 stars!”
“I had such a wonderful meal here. Everything was delicious and the presentation was excellent.
The tandoori chicken was cooked perfectly and arrived on a sizzling hot platter. I also really loved the naan, which was nicely charred and seasoned with fresh herbs. It was the perfect comfort food for a nice dinner out.
The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. I will definitely be back soon to enjoy this food again.”

“I really enjoyed the food and it was not very pricey at all. Most of the plates, even the favorites at that, we’re about $15… Everything on the menu is Vegan 🙋🏽♂️”
“Thursday nights is Trivia and it’s super fun! The trivia was not too hard nor too easy and the emcee/dj did a fantastical job not only coming up with the rounds and questions, but the music he played synced perfectly! It’s fun competitive, so come to have fun! 🤩 ❤️❤️👽”

“Such a wonderful neighborhood deli! They have a great selection of Armenian and European products, and everything I’ve purchased has been fresh and good quality. The service is friendly and helpful, and I always enjoy discovering something new when I stop by. It’s nice to have a local business that carries so many familiar and traditional products. Definitely worth visiting!”
“Stopped by here at random cause my fiance was craving a deli sandwich....honestly was superb. Excellent service and friendly staff. She got the super Ruben and I got the garlic grill sandwich with brisket, soooooo tasty. Definitely a hidden gem worth trying for some classic deli food.”
“This Israeli style pizza was really good! The flavors were robust and the dough of the pizza was baked to a light crunch on the crust. 😉 We got three different pies to try them out. We eat a lot of pizza in this family from the East Coast to the West Coast. It’s not east coast pizza but we will definitely add them to our rotation of pizza places. Next time I will try something else on the menu. The restaurant itself is kind of small but quaint and the service was friendly and helpful.”

Whether you're picking up something for yourself, bringing a treat to a friend, or planning for a special occasion, this place is a must-visit.”

“Here's a polished review in the style of a seasoned food critic:
There are very few restaurants that can maintain both excellence and consistency for more than two decades, and this remarkable sushi destination in Tarzana is one of those rare exceptions. For the past 26 years, they have quietly set the standard for what authentic Japanese hospitality and uncompromising quality should look like.
What immediately stands out is the unwavering commitment to the finest ingredients. Every piece of sushi and sashimi reflects exceptional freshness, precision, and respect for the product. Witnessing the tuna cutting on-site is a testament to their dedication to quality—something true sushi enthusiasts will genuinely appreciate. Every detail, from the knife work to the presentation, is executed with remarkable care.
A great restaurant is built by great people, and the chefs—Archy, Scott, Paul, and Saito—are true masters of their craft. Their experience, consistency, and passion are evident in every plate they prepare. Beyond their technical skill, they create an atmosphere that feels both welcoming and effortlessly professional.
What truly completes the experience is the hospitality. The service is warm, attentive, and sincere, making every visit feel like returning to a place that genuinely values its guests. It is this perfect harmony of extraordinary ingredients, meticulous craftsmanship, and heartfelt service that has allowed this restaurant to remain one of Tarzana's most treasured culinary gems for over a quarter of a century.
Without question, this is a well-deserved five-star establishment and a destination every serious sushi lover should experience.”
“Our Friend Vahe took us this week for a Tapas Treat to this gem on Ventura Blvd. They have been serving the valley with excellent Tapas for 20+ years. We went all the way - tried and shared most of the small tapas - croquetas, mushroom, shrimp, patatas and all the little baguette delicacies - and had a really good time. They have live music - a wonderful guitar player - on some days. If you like Spanish guitar worth checking out his dates in the place. If you care for Tapas - this is the right place.”
“Incredible location for live music. I've gone during their Monday night Blues events and it's incredibly fun. Small venues, SRO capacity, musicians so close...!”

“I have been eating here for years.
This is the kind of place where the staff remembers your name.
Any dish you order here will be amazing.
I cannot say that there is a favorite for me here. I usually end up taking too much time deciding on my order, because, I can't make up my mind most of the time. There are however times when I have something in mind already.”
“These guys hit all the bases: over the past three years I’ve had their pizza (best in the valley in my opinion as far as taste, fresh ingredients (like, actual chopped in house vegetables, quality meat, and the crust reminds me of NY Style with an LA spin. Just go with it 😆
Their pastas are just as good - fresh and most importantly reheat-able the next day and just as good and consistent, and not just a bowl of nasty grease. Sauce stays… saucy.
Juan is suuuuuper nice! Everyone I call he remembers me even if it’s been months!
I’ve had their mozzarella sticks, calzones, pretty much everything except the salads. (One of these days, I swear!)
Tonight I ordered the specialty slice, which is always made fresh and a MILLION times better than any place that just has their pizzas hanging out under the heat lamp for god knows how long.
It’s just like a fresh pizza. Just instead of a circle, it’s a gigantic slice.
,I also tried their NY Steak Sub. I’ll just say the pictures definitely do it justice! If anything it’s even better “in person” - humongous, and with more than a generous amount of meat and perfect balance of cheese peppers onions and whatever else you wanna add.
Keep up the great work guys!!!
With much appreciation - Alex. :)”
“Delicious ramen with rich black soup that tastes so authentic it brought me back to Japan (in the future time lol) Paired perfectly with a cold Sapporo beer — pure comfort. Amazing and purposeful service by Sarah, Kate, and Mona. Friendly, heartwarming, and attentive — they truly made the experience feel special. They all deserve a holiday pay raise and recognition for their great work. The owner/chef Toshiro adds a level of authenticity that makes the meal feel real, warm, and crafted with care. Upbeat Saturday night music, chill and cozy ambience, comfortable seating, and a clean, homy environment. Truly a wonderful experience. Highly recommended. Thank you so much. God bless! :)”
“Best falafel sandwich I've had. The restaurant was very clean, owner was very nice and the quality of the ingredients was amazing.”

“02/11/2026
I ordered a triple Western bacon cheese burger combo on Uber eats and the fries were not only burned but they're old.
The burger was good like always except the fries.
This is the second time I recieved an old burned fries.
Update: I called them and they were able to answer and it was corrected.”
“Food was excellent, service was exemplary, portions were perfect. Dory in lemon butter caper sauce, Sauted mushrooms with pastry, Beet and white bean salad with fried goat cheese.”
“We love this restaurant! The food is amazingly delicious and the staff welcomes you as if you are family.... thankfully, during the current crisis we are able to pick up or have delivered.”

“Masa-san serves chef's choice, and the food is fresh and delicious. Eating here is an extremely delightful experience. The sweet shrimp with eggs is one of my favorites. Always finish your meal with at least 1 (maybe 2 or ...) of his blue crab rolls. The crab is carefully hand-pulled, the rice is warm, and the seaweed is crisp. You won't find that combination of quality and easy dining experience anywhere else in the Valley. Please try it!”
“The taste is almost identical to Northridge BB.Q. The difference is that they don't provide the complimentary pickled radish. Also, I ordered two extra sides of pickled radish, but unlike Northridge BB.Q., the portions were very small.
I could tell they used clean oil just by looking at the chicken, and it tasted amazing.”
“One of the most light-filled coffee shops in the Valley with the happiest team of baristas I have ever encountered. The range of seating arrangements makes this my favorite place to get work done when I want to take a break from working from home. My go-to drinks are the hot chocolate and the red velvet lattes! 100/10, highly recommend 😊”
“Such a cool little spot in Tarzana at the corner of Reseda and ventura! I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I just had a really wonderful cheeseburger and fries combo...all of it was excellent! The service was wonderful...very friendly and helpful. Five stars!”
“I think pricing is just right for they quality of the meat and how they serve the food wether it's for take out or dine in. I love that there's grilled tomatoes and veggies included and you can request to have all the rice in one tray and all the meat in another.”

“Always enjoy this place. The atmosphere and welcoming nature of this establishment is unparalleled. It’s my favorite spot to hang out and enjoy either live music or to have a fun night of Karaoke. Been going here for years and every time I leave I can’t wait to go back! Thanks guys! Cheers! We’ll see you soon.”
“I have known "Unique Pastry Bakery" for over 22 years I always came out satisfied with dessert and challahs that scooped compliments around the table on Saturday nights and holidays. From an amazingly fresh and delicious breakfast to beautifully crafted wedding cakes. Irit Stein, well done אני מכיר את "Unique Pastry Bakery" למעלה מ 22 שנה תמיד יצאתי מרוצה עם קינוח וחלות שגרפו מחמאות מסביב לשולחן בערב שבת ובחגים. מארוחת בוקר טרייה מדהימה וטעימה ועד לעוגות חתונות מעוצבות להפליא. אירית, כל הכבוד”
“Wide variety of Japanese food, not just sushi. It’s all really good. Warm environment, great service. One of my top 3 spots for sushi from Studio City thru Encino.”
“I have been going here for years… A must go in the valley. Known for their high quality meat even seen celebrities buying their meat here.
Owner is super nice. Highly recommend!”

“First time trying this for delivery. Our order was done exactly how we asked and super fast too. If you like grilled onion on your burger like i do...hold onto your hat because these were not just grilled but carmelized to perfection. And the butter cake...holy moly...move over cannolis cause you've been replaced with this as my new favorite dessert! I cried tears of gourmet joy while I ate”
“The only bad experience I have had at this location is when they have too many customers waiting and too few people behind the counter. I will admit, I avoided this location for a few years of living in the area because it just looked grungy from the outside. But then after a few years I finally tried it and the food has literally never disappointed. BUT...there has been a change lately, and not a good one. It's not the store's fault but the prices of everything on the menu are high now and the only way you can get a good deal is to order on the app. Now, the problem with app ordering from just about any restaurant is that they usually don't put enough ingredients on. Part of the beauty of Subway is that you can tell them how much or little you want. For instance if you want more tomatoes or just a slight bit of sauce, there is not a way to ask for that on the app. But you can save some money, as much as 30% off a sandwich or even combo meal with app ordering versus going in and giving your order to the counter staff. They also have BOGO or B2G1 (buy two, get a freebie) offers - and if you buy an expensive footlong, you can get a second for nothing.”
“The food was very fresh and delicious. We got the Sweet & Spicy Chicken and Vegetables Bowl with Brown Rice. I love the fact that the food came out hot. I didn’t take any pictures of my food because I was distracted by the fact that someone bumped into my car as they were backing out of a parking space prior to me going into Waba Grill, so I spent my time eating while on the phone with my insurance company.”
“I absolutely love Zankou Chicken! The rotisserie chicken is always perfectly cooked—so delicious and incredibly crispy on the outside while staying juicy on the inside. You cannot skip their famous garlic sauce; it is pure perfection and pairs perfectly with everything. I also love their pickled turnips, which add the perfect bright, crunchy bite to the meal. Every single visit is a hit, and I highly recommend it!”
“I had such a great experience thanks to Johnathan from the afternoon shift. He truly exceeded what you’d expect from Starbucks service. Not only was he efficient, but he was also incredibly thoughtful—making sure nothing went to waste while still being generous and kind to us.
His positive attitude stood out right away. He greeted us with a big, genuine smile and made both my husband and me feel welcome. The little things meant a lot too, like offering pup cups, which made our visit even more special.
It’s rare to come across someone who balances great service, kindness, and mindfulness so effortlessly. Johnathan really made our day better, and I’m so grateful for his service. He’s a great example of what customer care should look like.”
“The staff are very friendly but the reason I gave it 4 stars is because more often than not I've had to wait a lot longer that would be expected, especially if I go inside. So if you're going to go I would recommend drive through especially if you're in a hurry. But the staff are always friendly and my order is always correct.”
“It my favorite. This is we’re I go . When any of my friends or family wants good sushi. 🍷”
“CPK Tarzana staff did a great job in response to a mix up on a take out order. Loved the response and appreciate the time to make a customer happy.”
“Wide variety of Japanese food, not just sushi. It’s all really good. Warm environment, great service. One of my top 3 spots for sushi from Studio City thru Encino.”

“The family and I went to Burritos Blvd for the 1st time today and walking in it was super neat and clean. The gentleman that worked there was so nice and the food was delicious. My husband is super picky about the meat he doesn't like fat on it and the asada was perfect to his liking and it was cooked perfectly as well.”
“This…THIS exceeded all expectations! I thought I was going to your typical middle eastern kabob place…but NO! The first thing that stood out was how Isaac (the owner) and his staff (I fear to call them that given, they felt like family) greeted us when we walked in (wow, wow, wow…as they say)! The trust was instantaneously established, so I thought we’ll let this guy order our food (I mean since he is there day-in-day-out and knows the menu better than we do). Whenever I go to a new place and the “trust” is there, I put my fate in the hands of the the staff and I always over-order so I can sample a wide portion of the menu: Belgian beer (very good), Lamb Arais (ridiculously good; so reminds me of mother’s bilishi [a Russian version of an Arais]), Lachma Jun (open pita bread, ground beef, tomatoes, onions, parsley), chunky patato fries, cauliflower “taboon”, perfect eggplant “taboon” and for dessert (dubai chocolates). The Arais was my favorite, closely followed by the eggplant. Everything else was also great… Just to retain some semblance of objectivity, I thought that the eggplant could’ve had bit more salt, but my wife disagreed with me. Either way, we loved it…to the point that we ate everything, except a little pice of cauliflower that we saved for my vegetarian sister-in-law. Can’t wait to go back (and we will), but unfortunately we live in San Francisco! We will definitely be telling all of our LA friends and family about this place. LFG or as they say Yala…GO because you won’t regret this experience!”
“Joe is the reason this place actually delivers. Brought the whole team through and he ran the entire group order without missing a beat — fast, clear, and genuinely locked in on making sure everything came out right. No rushed energy, no attitude, just solid service the way it’s supposed to be.
The acai bowls and smoothies were fresh, properly balanced, and consistently good. Nothing watery or over-sweetened. Clean space, chill atmosphere, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to stick around a few extra minutes. But the real difference is Joe. He sets the tone for the whole experience and it shows.
This is our new regular stop. Appreciate you, Joe”
