“Super cute local coffee shop that gives back to the community!!! If you mention you are a part of one of the four schools off of Balboa and Vanowen the school receives 10% of every order! A really beautiful initiative. Also the drip coffee is smooth and yummy! The batista even offered me a free sample in a cute espresso cup to try before I buy. “Came here on a random week night and was pleasantly surprised! Portions were appropriately sized but could be bigger, I came with a party of 4. We ordered 6 dishes and finished all the dishes, and the pricing of the dishes was amazing! Now for taste, the dishes look simple but were very flavorful and definitely packed a punch. Some of our favorites included pad see ew (food wok air flavor), garlic Chinese broccoli with crispy pork, and the Panang curry. Service was also quick and kind which we appreciated. Would definitely return again for a quick meal!”

“This spot has become my go-to pizza place in the Valley. It's affordable, quick, and most importantly, delicious. I always go with the deep dish pizza. It has thick cheese, crispy edges, a crunchy crust, and soft dough. They don't drown the pie in sauce, which I personally like. I'm sure if you feel differently, they could easily accommodate you. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. As far as I can tell, the kitchen is clean and they also keep the lobby area clean as well. I recommend this spot to anyone in the area and anyone looking for a quick bite.”

“Food truck review: food was delicious and portions were a generous size. Ordered the Flamin Fries, 4 sliders combo and flamin elote. The sliders were not small at all! I actually got full with one. The flamin elote was definitely unique but I prefer the flamin fries. They do charge for extra sauce, I wish we got at least 1 extra sauce with our combo order. 10/10”

“This is a family run business. Wendy bakes out of her home and has little Bake sales on her porch. The house is quirky, with funny weird decorations on the outside- nothing that you would imagine a bakery to be. And you don't go inside the house. Order a few days ahead and remind her on the day of because she gets booked with a lot of orders . Her son brings out your order. Her cherry pies are fresh out of the oven. A thin light crust with an incredibly tasty cherry filling.”

“The influence of Alice Waters and David Tennis is at play in the $45 prix fixe 3-course lunch, simple, elegant and delicious. The rest of the menu, except the desserts and cocktails, looks to be uninterestingly pedestrian. Recently, a salad of thinly shaved manchego, mint, beets and radicchio first course and a perfectly cooked Sea bass, very plump clams, broad beans, and fennel second course in a seafood broth lightly seasoned with dill were superb, as were desserts that our waiter allowed us to substitute for the third course. Highly recommended for lunch.”

Mains of Mushroom Pinsa (with great wild mushrooms) and lasagne. Dessert was tiramisu- totally top. Good wine list. Nice to see the Nebbiolo grape well represented. The people working here are so nice. I’m sure the management know how lucky they are to have such fine staff! In summary, I totally recommend this fine establishment.
